  • Patent number: 5896688
Abstract: A scrolling sign that includes a plurality of webs each having indicia which are displayed through a window on the sign face. The plurality of webs are disposed in vertical and horizontal alignment with one another. Each of the webs are disposed between a forward and a reverse web roll. A plurality of forward and reverse web rolls are rotatably mounted to a modular unit such that the individual web rolls are aligned. • Patent number: 5572225
Abstract: A connector device for interconnecting an antenna with a novelty toy or display item, the connector device having a disk-shaped base with a radial slot that extends from an outer base portion edge to the approximate center of the base portion, and two or more spaced-apart prongs extending upwardly from the base portion. The slot is wide enough to accept the vehicle antenna, thus allowing the antenna to be slidingly engaged within the base portion. The prongs have an inwardly angled upper portion which terminates with a sharp tip so as to easily insert the prongs into the material of the novelty at the bottom of a hole therein. The upper portion also provides a horizontal downfacing lip that prevents the novelty from being easily removed from the device and a horizontal upfacing lip that prevents the prongs from being inserted too far into the novelty. A crushable material plug is used to assure a tight fit between the antenna and the novelty.

  • Patent number: 4067006
Abstract: A changeable alphanumeric sign with printed characters is disclosed. The sign is universally changeable in the sense that any combination of alphanumeric characters may be displayed by selectively positioning a set of display tapes in each character window. Each set of tapes forms a broken-character display in the respective character window and all character windows are independently controlled to form a broken-word display. This arrangement minimizes the length of display tapes required. An open-loop positioning system is provided whereby all sets of tapes are concurrently but independently positioned to change the characters of the sign.
