Abstract: A label stack assembly and method and system for preparing the label stack assembly is disclosed herein. The label stack assembly may be applied to a product in order to provide care instructions in multiple different languages. Individual pages of the label stack assembly may have separate content, such as translations of care instructions into multiple languages, and may be marked by tabs of various shapes, sizes, or styles that may protrude from an edge of the label stack assembly. Tabs may be marked with country codes indicating the translations or other information. The pages of the label stack assembly may be printed on both a front and a back side, such as may be desired, in order to minimize the number of pages used while maximizing the number of care instruction translations or other content pages.

In particular, vehicle projection assemblies within a housing including a projection module, and selective reflective polarizing element are described. Particular selective reflective polarizing elements may enable advantageous configurations for such vehicle projection assemblies.

The electronic device comprises: a display for displaying an image on a windshield of a transportation means; a first camera for capturing an image of a user riding in the transportation means; a second camera for capturing an image of the outside of the transportation means; and a processor for translating text included in the image captured by the second camera into any other language, and controlling the display such that the translated text is displayed on the windshield, wherein the processor displays the translated text on different areas of the windshield, on the basis of the driving speed of the transportation means and the gaze of the user in the image captured by the first camera.

Abstract: A hitch/step system which includes a main body that acts as a step when installed in a horizontal position and a vertically adjustable hitch when installed in a vertical position. In addition to a hitch attachments are provided for use with the hitch including a ball mount, a pindle lock and a shackle. The hitch attachments are interchangeable and seperably coupled to the main body and may be removed when not towing and when using as a step. Additional components include interior reflectors and removable LED lights.

Abstract: A window mountable illuminated sign assembly configured to removably couple to a vehicle window and that comprises a sign housing coupled to a translucent front panel defining an interior cavity. The interior cavity holding an LED panel including a plurality of LED lights disposed in a tightly spaced configuration with respect to one another. The translucent front panel coupled to and surrounded by a flange that extends outwardly from the front surface of the translucent front panel and is capable of flexing and deforming. The sign assembly also comprises a plurality of suction cup fasteners individually and independently capable of flexing and deforming. The assembly further includes a variety of power options as well as a remote control operably configured to communicate signals that control various aspects and features of the sign assembly.

The first cover member is rotationally movable with respect to the housing around a first rotation fulcrum fixed to the housing. When the first cover member turns with respect to the housing and the second cover member turns with respect to the first cover member, the first end part is located at an outer side than a first side of a mirror, and the second end part is located at an outer side than a second side of the mirror. The second cover member is not present in an optical path of light projected from a projector to the mirror.

Abstract: A display system and an in-vehicle system include a display device provided at a vehicle and configured to display a person image indicating a person at a position visible from the outside of the vehicle; and a controller configured to acquire surrounding status information indicating a surrounding status of the vehicle and control the display device based on the acquired surrounding status information, thereby the executing external display processing of displaying the person image. As a result, the display system and the in-vehicle system provide an advantageous effect that easily-understandable displaying can be performed.

Abstract: In a head-up display, a cover member includes a first transmissive member and a second transmissive member that transmit a light beam including an image generated by an image generation unit. The first transmissive member is formed to face upward from a front end to a rear end. Likewise, the second transmissive member is formed to face upward from a front end to a rear end. The rear end of the first transmissive member is offset to an upper side from the front end of the second transmissive member.

Abstract: Method and apparatus are disclosed for magnetically connecting a placard to a rearview mirror of a motor vehicle. The apparatus includes a magnetic hanger which connects to the stem of the rearview mirror. A magnetic placard adapter removably receives a hanging portion of a standard placard. The magnetic placard adapter is removably connectable to the magnetic hanger. The magnetic placard adapter is magnetically connected to the magnetic hanger. In other embodiments, the placard itself is formed with a magnetic portion to form a magnetic placard that magnetically couples to the magnetic hanger, directly without the need for the magnetic placard adapter.

Abstract: Holders, devices and methods for storing identification information, such as but not limited to driver's licenses, insurance and vehicle registration and safety tip information for quick and easy retrieval from storage containers that can be mounted in easy to reach and clearly visible locations for vehicle drivers, such as but not limited to being mounted on steering wheel columns, where the storage locations are clearly visible to outside law officers approaching a vehicle.

Abstract: Provided is a head-up display device such that shaking of a display image due to vibration can be mitigated. This head-up display device, which reflects display light output from a display unit with a reflection unit so as to produce an image to be viewed, includes a first supporting part for supporting the reflection unit rotatably about a rotation axis and a first supported part provided at one end of the reflection unit and supported by the first supporting part. The first supported part has a spherical surface formed thereon, and the first supporting part has a sliding surface that is formed therein and is in substantially point contact or line contact with the spherical surface formed on the first supported part. A first elastic member that presses the first supported part and the first supporting part against each other in the rotation axis direction is provided.

Abstract: A graphic display device illuminates interchangeable graphic panels and is mountable to a translucent mounting surface. The graphic display device includes a housing assembly, a light source assembly, a light guide assembly, and device-to-surface mounts. The housing assembly includes a housing back, a housing front, and peripheral housing edging. Together, the housing back and housing edging define a panel-receiving volume. The light source assembly includes a power source, a light source, and circuitry. A light guide of the light guide assembly is positionable within the panel-receiving volume for guiding light from the light source in an anterior direction. The device-to-surface mounts fasten the graphic display device to a translucent mounting surface, and are cooperably associated with the peripheral housing edging for supporting the housing assembly such that the light from the light source is guided in an anterior direction through the translucent mounting surface.

Abstract: A steering wheel raises the awareness of a driver of a vehicle or the like concerning safe driving during operation of the vehicle, leading to a reduction of traffic accidents and violations of traffic regulations. The steering wheel has a pad section nearly in the center of a steering section gripped by the driver. A traffic slogan display unit having a character section displaying a traffic slogan and a background section being other than the character section is formed on the pad section.

Abstract: An advertising panel is disclosed which is a lightweight, portable, and foldable substrate which accepts and retains high quality graphics and photographic advertising images. The advertising panel can be used for providing advertising on the inner surface of the windshield of a vehicle. The advertising panel includes a substrate with an advertising image printed on the substrate and a light source. The light source illuminates the advertising panel from behind. A viewer exterior to the vehicle is able to see the advertising image at night because a portion of the light emitted from the light source is transmitted through both the advertising panel substrate and the advertising image.

Abstract: In combination with a highway tractor of the type having an operator's cab mounted on a frame, a vertical pivotal coupling means coupled to the frame behind the cab adapted to be coupled to a trailer, and an aerodynamic structure at the top of the cab which includes a plurality of LED bulbs and a heat generating element in the front of the aerodynamic structure. A front panel of glass or plastic material having information such as a logo containing letters and/or images located on its first surface, second surface or embedded surface covers the LED bulbs with a weatherproof seal. Light from the LED bulbs provides illumination for the information on the front panel to be viewed from the front of the highway tractor and heat from the heat generating element helps to keep the front panel having information such as a logo free of snow and/or ice.

Abstract: Multi-piece constructions for an illuminated emblem assembly for connection to an airbag cover are provided herein. An airbag assembly can include an airbag cover having front and rear surfaces, an emblem portion having one or more translucent areas and an illumination source. The airbag cover can include attachment elements protruding from the rear surface. The emblem portion and the illumination source can include openings for accommodating attachment elements. The illumination source can include a light guide and light emitting diodes (LEDs), where the LEDs are fitted in recesses formed in the light guide. The emblem portion can be arranged between the airbag cover and the illumination source, and the emblem portion and the illumination source can be aligned such that at least one of the one or more translucent areas is illuminated by light passing through the emblem portion from the illumination source.

Each sign (11) has a visual display surface (12) that is capable of forming an illuminated graphic display (13) on the visual display surface (12). The system (10) includes wireless communication hardware (60) that allows the visual display (11) to be programmed by a remote programming device (41). Each of the display devices (11) can be programmed to have a separate message and each message would scroll from left to right across the display surface (12) in a time coordinated manner so that the message appears to scroll consistently from left to right across the visual field of the plurality of display surfaces (12).

A housing can be mounted so that the graphics panel abuts or is closely mounted to a mounting surface.

Abstract: A portable advertising system well suited for outdoor advertising at night includes a body adapted to be secured to a transportation vehicle and may include a universal attachment system for that purpose. An advertisement may be displayed on an advertising surface mounted on the body. An illumination source is directed towards the advertising surface and may be integrated into an electronic display unit or may be directed at an advertising sheet such as a vinyl sheet. When the advertising sheet is used, a sheet tension system typically maintains tension on the sheet, and an openable protective cover may protect the sheet when not in use. The illumination source may be controlled based on environmental light conditions, sheet tension and/or position of the protective cover. The body may be part of a cargo container such as an ISO container suited for securing to a railroad car or other vehicle.

Abstract: A form assembly for removably attaching a form to a surface includes a form including a page, the page including a body, a first detachable stub attached to a first edge of the body by a first detachment line and a second detachable stub attached to a second edge of the body opposite the first edge by a second detachment line. The form also includes a first adhesive label including a lite-tac adhesive, attached to the first detachable stub by the lite-tac adhesive, where the lite-tac adhesive does not overlap the first detachment line, and a second adhesive label including a lite-tac adhesive, attached to the second detachable stub by the lite-tac adhesive, where the lite-tac adhesive does not overlap the second detachment line. The lite-tac adhesive of the first adhesive label and the lite-tac adhesive of the second adhesive label can removably secure the form assembly to a surface.

Abstract: A tag system for vehicle repair shops or collision repair centers includes a set of mirror tags, a set of releasably attachable key ring tags with associated key rings, and a set of releasably attachable instruction tags. The mirror tags are adapted to be hung from the rear view mirror of a vehicle, and are reusable to allow each tag to be used multiple times while conveying different information to service personnel. Each mirror tag may include an identifier for identifying the mirror tag, a hook-and-loop attachment strip for releasably attaching a key ring with keys to the vehicle, and a hook-and-loop attachment strip for releasably attaching one or more members of a set of instruction tags. Each key ring tab may include an identifier matching the identifier of the mirror tag, a key ring for holding the key to the vehicle, and a hook-and-loop attachment strip for attaching the key ring to a mirror tag.

More particularly, the present disclosure relates to a signboard that may be hung behind a vehicle's windshield to display various pre-selected or selected information, such as removable information that may easily revised as well as more permanent information that may be pre-printed on the signboard. The signboard may be hung from a vehicle's rearview mirror, rearview mirror support and/or a clip coupled to a vehicle's visor.

In embodiments of the invention, the placard holder is magnetically connected to the hanger, and the jaws of the placard holder are magnetically urged together to hold the placard.

The at least one exterior wall may also be an advertising sheet composed of vinyl and the illumination source may be a plurality of light emitting diodes. Sub sequentially the writing board may be disengaged from the rearview mirror of the vehicle, the non-permanent markings may be erased from the writing board with an eraser and the vehicle minor message display sign may be reused.

Abstract: A vehicle identification card has the words SERVICE and READY on its front and rear sides, respectively, and includes a top segment having a horizontal band of static cling vinyl covered by a removable protective liner. Upon removal of the protective liner, the card can be adhered to the inside of a vehicle windshield with the word SERVICE visible from outside the vehicle and the top segment may be folded 180 degrees and adhered to the inside of the vehicle windshield with the word READY visible from outside the vehicle. The card is preferably a two section card with the before mentioned construction in an upper section and having a lower section which includes a removable key tag and a removable vehicle claim ticket. Service personnel can place the card on, and remove the card from, the inside of the vehicle windshield without bodily entering the vehicle.

The assembly consists of a locking pivot mechanism to hold the placard securely in the up or down position. Abstract: The lockdown shade is a device for preventing visual access to an area through a window of a door. The device has a shade normally stored on a mounting system that is positioned on a wall surface adjacent to the door window. The shade is fabricated from a solid, opaque material having fastener(s) on its rear surface to effect quick and easy attachment to the door window. The fastener(s) also function to provide attachment to the mounting system. The shade is configured and dimensioned to cover the window in the door.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a vehicle mountable display device. The device includes a first adversarial profile and a second adversarial profile. Between the first adversarial profile and the second adversarial profile is a first extension, which is part of or attached to the first adversarial profile. The first extension is made of a flexible material and/or pivotably or flexibly connected to the first adversarial profile such that while driving the extension can move back and forth in the appearance of slapping or hitting the second adversarial profile. The first adversarial profile is preferably a user's preferred choice and the second adversarial profile is preferably a rival or challenger, thereby effectively communicating a user's preferred choice, while also communicating the adversarial nature between the two with minimal or no words. The device further includes a mounting element for securely attaching to the vehicle.

A design piece may be placed over the location of the opening in the opaque layer.
