Abstract: An apparatus is configured to be used with a post-mountable sign. The apparatus includes identical first and second frame sections. Each of the first and second frame sections includes a first fastening element located at a first end thereof; a second fastening element located at a second end thereof; and a first recess between the first and second ends configured to accommodate the post. The first fastening element of the first frame section is configured to cooperate with the second fastening element of the second frame section. The first fastening element of the second frame section is configured to cooperate with the second fastening element of the first frame section. The identical first and second frame sections are configured to be fastened together to surround the sign. The first recess of each of the first and second frame sections is configured to be positioned adjacent the post.

Abstract: A repair component for historical markers, and the like, comprises a metal casting including an upper channel dimensioned to receive the lower bottom portion of the original plaque, and a lower collar dimensioned to fit onto the existing post. The plaque may be fastened, welded, glued or otherwise secured within the channel of the repair component. Alternatively, the upper groove of the repair component may include a moveable member forming a jaw that clamps onto the lower edge of the existing plaque. The collar may also be fastened, welded, glued or otherwise secured to the upper end of the pole. Also disclosed is a method of repairing a marker including a plaque with a lower bottom portion that has broken away from a collar fitted to a post.

Abstract: A movable handle includes a movable member and a seat, both of which can be made of a plastic, a metal or a composite material. The movable member includes a main body and a bent portion. The main body can be bar-shaped, block-like, ball-shaped, wedge-shaped or in any other suitable shape, and the bent portion can be bent inward, outward or in any other direction relative to the main body. The main body of the movable member is movably assembled to the seat, and the seat is connected to a first object, such that the movable member is indirectly connected to the first object via the seat and can be turned or moved upward and downward or leftward and rightward on and relative to the first object.

Abstract: Three-dimensional affinity displays for removably attaching onto an exterior side surface of a vehicle are presented herein. The affinity display may include an outer shell that helps shield a base surface from wind drag and weather elements while driving, helping to ensure that the affinity display remains attached to the exterior side surface of the vehicle. The affinity display may include aerodynamic features, such as a dome shape, and a drain hole to prevent water from building up within the affinity display. The affinity display may also include a detachable strap to assist with stability, and a recess in the base surface for attaching the strap to the affinity display.

Abstract: A multipurpose sign base suitable for supporting temporary signs includes an upstanding mast supportable atop a support surface by a substantially horizontally extending, elongate, support member connected to a lower region of the mast, and by a plurality of elongate leg members of adjustable length each having an upper portion movably connected to a central region of the mast, and each having a lower portion movably connected to a different foot adapted to engage a different area of the support surface at locations arrayed about the mast. An upper region of the mast is connectable to a sign to support and display the sign. The legs and feet have retracted positions near the mast. A rearwardly extending formation of the horizontal support member can be coupled to a vehicle hitch so the sign base also can be supported on a vehicle for transport while displaying a sign.

Abstract: A multi-purpose reversible target includes a target body having a first side and a second side, a plurality of target areas printed on the first side of the target body, and a plurality of tabs integral with the target body and on the second side of the target body. A stand includes an elongated body having a top end and an opposite bottom end, the bottom end configured for insertion into ground and at least one holder comprising a first loop and a second operatively connected to the first loop to thereby allow for friction fit of an edge of signage between the first loop and the second loop.

Abstract: A street sign mounting assembly has a universal sign post cap and at least one sign holder bracket. The cap is universally adapted to fit common street sign posts including, without limitation, square, round and U-channel posts. The sign holder brackets are designed to hold street signs of varying thicknesses.

The panels may be secured to the supports by way of clips or other mechanical fasteners. Double-sided adhesive may be employed to secure ends of the panels, as desired.

Abstract: A robust and low-cost design to add graphics panels to a sun tracking, solar panel mounting system that can be mounted on a wide range of light poles and power poles. This design uses the promotional value of the applied graphics to further improve the economics of the solar installation resource to help speed the adoption of this distributed power generation resource.

Abstract: An adaptable mounting system for mounting an LED display panel on an existing support structure for a billboard is provided, where the support structure including a plurality of posts having brackets arranged to support the billboard. The adaptable mounting system includes a lower arm and upper arms, each arm having a first end and a second end and one or more notches supported on the brackets of the existing support structure; a yoke coupled to the arms proximate the first end and configured for attachment to the LED display panel; and a brace coupled to one of the upper arms proximate the second end and coupled to the yoke of an arm beneath the one of the upper arms.

Abstract: An apparatus for the prevention of flag entanglement upon a flagstaff that is comprised of a specifically milled wood block which acts as an attaching mechanism to the flagstaff and is the hinge point for a metal rod that is attached to the flag. The hinge point of the block allows the rod to swing in a 180 degree arc from the 90 degrees to 270 degrees. The length of the rod being equal to or greater than the width of the flag in conjunction with the hinge block action prevents the flag from flipping over and tangling on the staff.

The cover is generally molded of a resilient, durable, low maintenance and exposure resistant structural plastic that can be treated during the molding process with coloring agents and chemical additives to enhance its esthetic and resiliency character respectively.

Abstract: An illuminated display device includes an upper horizontal mount and a lower horizontal mount supported by a vertical pole with two opposite-facing translucent banners suspended between the mounts. The upper mount supports an enclosure which includes illumination means for projecting light downwardly. Two banners of substantially equal length are suspended between the supports and are disposed at an angle to each other, being spaced apart a greater distance at the top than at the bottom. The inside angled surfaces of each banner receive light projected downwardly from the enclosure. The enclosure may also include translucent side surfaces which can carry an advertising display or other printed communication to supplement the information provided on the outside surfaces of the banners. The banners are suspended between the mounting means by rod-and-hook attachments so that the banners can be easily removed and replaced.
