The apparatus has a torsion member configured to be attached to the signage, at least one base member configured to be attached to the support structure, and at least one hinge assembly that is disposed between the torsion member and the at least one base member, the at least one hinge assembly including a base hinge subassembly and a second hinge subassembly that are attached together. The base hinge subassembly is attached to the at least one base member. The second hinge subassembly is attached to the torsion member. The torsion member is rotatable in a first rotational direction about the second hinge subassembly and a second rotational direction about the base hinge subassembly, the first rotational direction being different from the second rotational direction.

The curved-surface support has an engaging surface and a reverse surface which face opposite directions. The display panel has a displaying surface and a reverse surface which face opposite directions. The reverse surface of the display panel is adapted to be connected to the engaging surface. The restricting device is disposed on the reverse surface of the display panel. The restricting device includes a restricting member. The restricting member has a connecting portion and a restricting portion. An end of the connecting portion is pivotally connected to the reverse surface of the display panel, and another end of the connecting portion is connected to the restricting portion. The restricting portion of the restricting member is controllable to pivot to the reverse surface of the curved-surface support.

The data communication station may include a frame having an aperture formed therein and a blank insert configured to be in registered alignment with the aperture. The blank insert may include a front facing surface configured to receive indicia thereon. The blank insert may include a retention feature configured to engage with an identification icon. In another embodiment, the data communication station may include a frame, a connector housing insert, and an identification icon configured to receive connectivity indicia thereon, wherein the connector housing insert may include a retention feature to engage with a corresponding retention feature on the identification icon. Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods for securing a component to a surface are disclosed. The fastening device can include a base member having a threaded projection extending from a base plate. A base sealing gasket can be provided between the base plate and a surface on which the base plate is mounted to ensure a water-tight fit. A capping nut having a nut aperture can be threadably engaged to the treaded projection, and a structural fastener can be inserted through the nut aperture for securing a structural component of a building-mounted structure. A nut sealing gasket can be disposed between within the capping nut to ensure a water-tight fit between the capping nut and the base member.

The dimensional content component is configured as a three-dimensional advertisement.

Abstract: A portable sign having a two axis adjustable mounting requiring no tools for adjustment. The sign may be an electronically programmable flat sign. The mounting may comprise at least one linear slidably adjustable arm configured for varying a position of the arm. The arm may have a suction cup attached thereto by a flexible band wrapping around the arm. The flexible band configured to allow rotation around the arm in a plane perpendicular to the arm. The flexible band having detents molded therein to ensure secure retention of the weight of the sign at any detent stop position. The sign may have a housing with slots running the length of the sign for attaching the arms. The housing may be extruded and may include board mounting and end cap attachment features in the extrusion. The sign may typically include four adjustable arms; however any number may be used.

Abstract: An emergency guidance and alerting system comprising an organizer located in a room having a door, wherein the organizer is capable of holding a slip sign and a window placard. The slip sign is capable of being placed under a door so that the slip sign can be viewed outside of the room, alerting rescue personnel that an occupant is in the room. The window placard is capable of being attached to a window alerting rescue personnel outside of the room that the occupant is in the room.

Abstract: A street sign mounting assembly has a universal sign post cap and at least one sign holder bracket. The cap is universally adapted to fit common street sign posts including, without limitation, square, round and U-channel posts. The sign holder brackets are designed to hold street signs of varying thicknesses.

Abstract: A system for mounting a badge to a component of a vehicle is provided. The system comprises a mounting base including a fastening aperture extending in a direction through a plane defined by the mounting base, a trim ring coupled with a peripheral edge of the mounting base and configured to selectively mount the badge between the trim ring and the mounting base when said trim ring is coupled with the peripheral edge, and a flexible fastening member including a first end that is fixedly coupled with the mounting base and a second end that is positioned within the fastening aperture. The flexible fastening member is configured to be positioned around at least a portion of a component of a vehicle and between the mounting base and the badge to fasten the badge to the vehicle.

The proximal spacer member includes a barrel and a coaxial coupling shaft extended distally from the barrel. The distal spacer member includes a distal barrel and a recess extending into the barrel and sized to slidably and rotatably receive the coupling shaft. A threaded stud extends proximally from the proximal barrel, and a distal threaded stud extends distally from the distal barrel. Each stud is removably threaded into its associate barrel. The distal member barrel supports a radially oriented set screw, movable toward and away from an advanced position in which the screw engages the coupling shaft to integrally secure the barrels. The spacer assembly allows the sign to be detached from the wall while leaving in place the studs coupled to the sign and wall.

The proximal spacer member includes a barrel and a coaxial coupling shaft extended distally from the barrel. A threaded stud extends proximally from the proximal barrel, and a distal threaded stud extends distally from the distal barrel. Each stud is removably threaded into its associate barrel. The spacer assembly allows the sign to be detached from the wall while leaving in place the studs coupled to the sign and wall.

The cover member is substantially transparent and has a bottom longitudinal edge and a top longitudinal edge. The cover member is angled from the bottom longitudinal edge toward the front surface of the support member such that the sign holder assembly is configured to maintain a sign between the cover member and the front surface of the panel.

The carrier is secured to the track to display the advertising panel. A method of displaying an advertising panel comprising the steps of engaging an advertising panel with a carrier, attaching a frame member to a beam, attaching a rod to the frame, coupling an advertising track to the carrier, and securing the advertising track to the rod. The frame member comprises a cylindrical base which is securable to the beam. The rod extends through an aperture in the base and into the track. Upward movement of the rod locks the track and carrier together and tensions the panel. Downward movement of the rod releases the carrier from the track and the tension in the panel.

Abstract: A warning sign for attachment to a load bearing wall in a building, the wall having an inner supporting structure covered with an outer layer. The sign is mountable on the supporting structure of the wall before the structure is covered with the outer layer of material so that the sign is not normally visible. The sign becomes visible only on removal of the outer layer such as during renovation. The sign has a message on its side facing outwardly from the structure, when the sign is attached to the structure, to warn a person viewing the sign when the sign is visible. The message warns the viewer that the wall is a load bearing wall and that the removal of the wall could have dangerous consequences. The invention is also directed toward a load bearing wall incorporating the sign and the use of the sign in a load bearing wall.

A method of forming a display sheet includes providing a thermoplastic sheet, and drawing at least one fastener from the thermoplastic sheet while in a plastic state. The material drawn from the sheet to form the at least one fastener results in a region of reduced thickness of the sheet adjacent to the respective fastener.

Abstract: A sign system comprises one or more box-like modules having a front section and a corresponding rear section sized to fit together in sliding engagement to define an interior cavity. The sections may be joined together with fasteners which engage the side panels of each section thereby leaving the front and rear surfaces free of discontinuities. The sign modules may be affixed to a generally planar surface or supported on internal or external mounting posts. During installation, the rear section may be mounted first and the front section subsequently attached to the rear section. In this way only approximately one-half of the total weight of the sign need be lifted and manipulated at any one time thereby facilitating installation. The interior cavity defined by the front and rear sections may accommodate lighting means for internally lighting the sign.

In another aspect, a second hanger bracket can be used to further connect the frame to a pole. A locking device can be used to lock at least one of the hanging brackets to the pole. The display photograph is disposed on the flat surface of the back panel. The display photograph and the back panel are collectively cut about the perimeter of the subject. Each retaining button is provided with protrusions corresponding to the keyed indentations of the sign panel. As a result, when the protrusion of the retaining button is engaged and seated in the keyed indentation of the sign panel, it becomes locked in place so that there is no room for lateral movement or removal of the panel. As a result, vandals or thieves are prevented from laterally sliding the sign panel to improperly remove it.

A loop worn by the individual captures the downwardly extending arm of the upper bend of the hook in order to secure the hook and the banner to the individual.

Abstract: The present invention relates to display systems mountable on posts, and more particularly to media display systems mountable on posts in general, and on posts including mailboxes as part of or attached to posts. A modular mounting system is provided which enables the fast, secure and easily changeable mounting of a display system to a mounting structure, where a support is on a post (which could include a mailbox) having easily attachable cooperating mounting structure on the post and the display. A mounting system is provided to display media from a support structure using a bracket and interface assembly. In a preferred embodiment, the mounting system allows for a media display to connect directly to the bracket and interface assembly via a sleeve.

Abstract: An adjustable support structure for temporary sign displays formed from a vertically oriented rigid panel having a plurality of length and angle adjustable support arms. Each arm has a distal end thumb screw attachment to a T-nut on the sign. The arm is adjustably anchored to the panel by a bolt extending from the panel through a longitudinal oval slot in the arm to engage a wingnut. Additional hardware prevents loss of movable parts. Sign stiffening battens are tethered to the panel. A stiffening tray parallely spaced apart from the back of the panel further bears against and secures the support arms.

Abstract: An attachment means allows for easy attachment of a decorative item or attachment to a vehicle. The attachment means includes a mounting member comprising a flexible strip, which supports the decorative attachment. A plug is attached to each end of the mounting member. The plug may be easily inserted into and removed from the bottom holes of a license plate on a vehicle. The plugs are attached to the mounting member by extensions, and include slits.

Abstract: A display assembly for mounting advertisement panels on a road barrier having a base, a vertical partition having front and rear surfaces, and transverse cavities extending between the surfaces. The display assembly has a panel sleeve and a pair of mounting brackets for securing the sleeve against the barrier. Each mounting bracket has an insert for extending partially into the transverse cavities. One mounting bracket is mounted against the vertical partition front surface and the other bracket is mounted against the vertical partition rear surface. The inserts of the mounting brackets are simultaneously brought into close proximity within the cavities and are mated together to hold the brackets and the panel sleeve securely against the vertical partition. The panel sleeve is secured to the mounting bracket and has a horizontal top lip oriented downward and a horizontal bottom lip oriented upward. The advertising panels may be easily inserted therebetween for display and removed when desired.

Abstract: A portable accident marking system to be used in conjunction with a rigid structure such as a snowboard, skis or the like, in order to alert others of an accident. The system is pliable so that when not in use it can easily fold and fit into a small pocket. The system includes a main body, cords or elastic bands, and two opposing end caps wherein the cords attach the end caps to the main body. Each end cap includes a pocket which captures the tip or tail of a snowboard. Retainer clips are then used with each cord to adjust the fit of the system. Bright colours, reflective material, and indicia are used to make the system highly visible.
