Prior to the folding, the x-axis divides the material horizontally and a y-axis divides the material vertically. A u-stake is oriented at the x-axis of the material in contact with an inner surface of the first part and an inner surface of the second part. The visual content appears on an outer surface of the first part and on an outer surface of the second part. Either the first part or the second part comprises an even number of sets of holes and a u-stake is threaded through each hole of the even number of the sets of holes and the third portion is oriented adjacent to the x-axis of the material.

    Abstract: A placard holder is a unitary structure having a left side, a right side and a bottom. Each of the left side, right side and bottom comprise the portions of a folded over, partial “capture” means, or partial “frame,” specifically comprising a left side frame, a right side frame and a bottom frame. The top of the placard holder is frameless such that a cautionary placard can be inserted into the partial frame that is created by the left side frame, the right side frame and the pair of bottom frames. In the preferred embodiment, the frames are folded-over portions of a unitary metal structure that forms the holder. The holder is attachable to a vehicle or other transport means for use when hazardous items are transported, the placard that is inserted into the holder being cautionary.

    Abstract: A frame for holding a flexible banner in tension, and a frame and flexible banner assembly in which the flexible banner is held in tension, has a frame including segments that are positioned together to define an enclosed area. Each segment has two main parts that are held together with a hinge that runs along the entire length of the outer edge of the segment. One main part is a base and the other one serves as a decorative cover. To keep the covers closed, each segment has a number of springs that secured to both the base and cover. To load the frame with a banner, each cover can be opened by hand a device inside the frame can be used to hold the covers open. Once loaded, the banner is held in place and tensioned with banner tensions, which may be springs that stretch from posts in the frame to holes in the banner.
