Abstract: A modular collapsible shadowbox system for creating customizable decorative tables. The system comprises a plurality of individual units, each displaying a letter, number, symbol, or shape, which, when combined, form a desired word, phrase, expression, or design. The units may be folded for storage and transport, then assembled in any desired combination for use. The desired units may be aligned in a row with a tabletop secured thereon for use as a table. The units may be individually lit from within, backlighting the letter, number, symbol, or shape and creating a shadowbox effect. The individual units, combined with color-customizable lighting, allow a user to create a custom table with any desired message and color scheme and is thus ideal for weddings, parties, and other events.

Abstract: A display for displaying a plurality of images includes a cube shaped housing formed of a first housing part that includes first, second and third faces and a second housing part that includes fourth, fifth and sixth faces, wherein the first part and the second housing parts are coupled to one another by a snap-fit to form the cube shaped housing. The display includes a skeleton frame formed of a first frame part and a second frame part. The first frame part and the second frame part are attached to one another to surround the cube shaped housing. The display includes a first image template that includes interconnected first, second and third images, the first image being coupled to the first face, the second image being coupled to the second face and the third image being coupled to the third face.

Abstract: A fastener for an image display assembly comprising a polygonal planar body having a ventral surface with at least one fastening member extending from the ventral surface. The fastening member comprises a fastening member body and at least one cantilever tab extending from the fastening member body. Each cantilever tab comprises a fastener retainer facing the ventral surface. Also provided is an image display assembly comprising retaining features; an assembled image display comprising said image display assembly and said fastener; a kit comprising said image display assembly and said fastener; a method of creating an image display; and use of said image display assembly and said fastener to create an image display.

Abstract: A message cabinet that is designed to reduce installation cost, improve energy savings, lower maintenance cost, be easier to service, and have a stronger construction for high winds. The message cabinet includes a main body, a pole-receiving hole, a first recess, a second recess, a first plurality of displays, and a second plurality of displays. The main body houses the electronic components of the present invention. The first plurality of displays and the second plurality of display allows the present invention to display electronic messages to drivers. The pole-receiving hole allows the present invention to be receive a mounting pole. The first recess and the second recess allow the present invention to dissipate heat accumulated by the electronic components within the main body.

Abstract: A modular framing assembly is provided. Each individual module comprises one or more retractable slats that may be extendable to connect with another individual module. The individual modules may be arranged in a plurality of angles and configurations to create frames of varying sizes, shapes and that are capable of bending around corners, where two wall meet.

Abstract: A photo display device including a top portion, a bottom portion having an upper surface and a cuboid member extending upwardly from the upper surface, and a middle portion having a translucent material, an outer surface having an elliptical curvature, a cuboid inner chamber defined by an inner surface and adapted to receive the cuboid member therein, wherein the top portion, the middle portion, and the bottom portion are adapted to be assembled as the photo display device such that the top portion rests upon the middle portion and the middle portion rests upon the bottom portion, and wherein the photo display device is adapted to hold at least one substantially planar item between the cuboid member and the inner surface, and the middle portion is adapted to magnify the at least one substantially planar item when held between the cuboid member and the inner surface.

Abstract: A supportive display container having an inner structure and an outer structure. The dimensions of the inner structure and the outer structure are such that when the outer structure has been placed over the inner structure, there is a gap between the side or sides of the inner structure and the side or sides of the outer structure which can hold an insert consisting of compressible material. The gap is of such a dimension that compression of the insert and friction prevent the inner structure and the outer structure from slipping apart. Preferably the side or sides of the outer structure are transparent to permit viewing of a message or design that is preferably on the insert. When the top of the inner structure is open, devices for stacking cubes, holders for cards, and display platforms can be inserted into the interior of the inner structure.

The backing is removably or permanently attached to the block by interlocking elements formed on the backing and on the block. For example, the interlocking elements can be pegs and bores. In one embodiment, the backing includes separately formed portions. Pictures placed between the block and backing are dramatically viewed through the block.

Abstract: A customizable configurable photocube system includes a photocube and a label sheet. The photocube has a plurality of blocks each having a plurality of sides. The label sheet has a plurality of labels that are attachable to corresponding sides of the blocks. The label sheet is configured to be printed upon in a commonly used office printing machine such as an inkjet printer or a color copier. A user may print a number of images onto the label sheet, thereafter removing the labels from the label sheet and attaching the labels to sides of the blocks in such a manner that a configurable photocube is formed.

The photographs are located between transverse upper and lower transparent or translucent panels. Electrical illumination fixtures located in illumination cavities between these panels and the ends of the display box shine upon the concave faces of the photographs through the nonopaque panels with direct illumination.

Abstract: A picture frame includes a frame body having both a sound generating mechanism and a movement mechanism connected to the picture frame. In one embodiment, the movement mechanism comprises a winding member providing additional ornamentation for the picture frame. In another embodiment, the winding mechanism forms part of the support structure for the picture frame. The picture frame has a multi-dimensional sense of beauty by enabling not only an audible component but also a spatial component through movement along a space adjacent to the picture being displayed.

Abstract: Method for manufacturing a display unit, which display unit comprises a first plate-type element and a second plate-type element made of transparent material, situated essentially parallel to the first plate-type element and serving as a window, and a frame made of flexible material which is moulded in an undetachable manner onto at least part of the periphery of one of the two plate-type elements, and which holds the two plate-type elements together, while a replaceable picture carrier of sheet-like or film-like material can be placed between the two plate-type elements. The first plate-type element and the second plate-type element are place together in an injection mould, without the picture carrier placed between them. Subsequently, in an injection moulding process, the frame of flexible plastic material is moulded in an undetachable manner onto at least part of the periphery of one of the two plate type elements.

Abstract: A polyhedrally shaped collapsible ornamental hollow structure having a fully enclosed hollow interior is made from a blank cut from a single sheet of folding board or like sheet material, the blank having a dual cruciform (Greek cross-like) configuration and being provided with a plurality of longitudinal, transverse and oblique scores to enable it to be folded and glued. The hollow structure remains in the collapsed state as long as a restraining pressure is applied thereto in a direction substantially perpendicular to the opposite front and back faces of the hollow structure, but when such restraining pressure is removed the hollow structure is automatically deployed into its expanded state by virtue of a compressive force applied circumferentially to the hollow structure by an elastic band equatorially encircling the sides of the hollow structure.
