Abstract: A frame that is fitted around the border of a display device such as, but not limited to, a television set is disclosed. The frame is configured to be removably mounted to the display device. According to one embodiment of the invention, the frame has multi-piece construction which provides for advertising panels to be removably inserted into the frame. The frame and the advertising panels may be constructed of a material which allows transmission of infrared and/or RF signals to pass through. Optionally, the frame and/or the advertising panels may include knock-out panels positioned over a receiver for an infrared and/or RF signal. A mounting system, such as a hook-and-loop fastening system, may be used to mount the frame to the display device.

Abstract: A hanging memorial for displaying pictures and ashes of the deceased, and storing keepsakes. The hanging memorial includes a frame and an urn; the urn being integrated into the frame. A lateral wall and a front panel of the frame define a storage volume in which keepsakes can be placed. Alternatively an internal storage box can define the storage volume. The frame further includes a frame insert that can be configured to display a physical painting or photograph, or configured to display digital pictures. The urn is removably attached or pivotally connected to the frame by an at least one bracket, such that the contents of the urn are readily accessible. The hanging memorial may further include a niche about which the at least one bracket is positioned and into which the urn is positioned. Alternative support mechanism may also be used in place of the at least one bracket.

Abstract: An artifact frame comprised of a hollow container bordered on front, rear, left and right sides and bottom to define an interior cavity into which can be placed ornamental material. On the front or back panel, or side or bottom panels, the artifact to be displayed may be mounted. Any number of mounting configurations are contemplated to be within the scope of the invention. A top panel may also be provided, which may be partially or totally removable to permit access to the interior cavity for the mounting of the artifact and placement of the ornamental material.

Abstract: A greeting card display system features a greeting card with a card first panel and a card second panel pivotally attached. A first crease divides a card front surface from a card back surface and a card first inside surface from a card second inside surface. The system features a protective sleeve with a sleeve first panel and a sleeve second panel. The protective sleeve features a sleeve cavity with a single sleeve opening adapted for insertion of the greeting card. The sleeve first panel is pivotally located on the sleeve second panel via a sleeve first outside crease that divides the front surface from the back surface and a sleeve first inside crease that divides the first inside surface from the second inside surface.

Abstract: A container system for storing remains is provided, including a rigid storage vessel defining an inner chamber for receiving remains. The system includes at least one display frame member outside the rigid storage vessel for displaying information, such as a picture. A cap is provided proximate the storage vessel, wherein the cap defines at least one storage area for receiving an object.

Abstract: A greeting card display system has a greeting card with a card first panel and a card second panel pivotally attached. A first crease divides a card front surface from a card back surface and a card first inside surface from a card second inside surface. The system has a protective sleeve with a sleeve first panel and a sleeve second panel. The protective sleeve has a sleeve cavity with a single sleeve opening adapted for insertion of the greeting card. Abstract: The memorial display is a retainer and display for funereal and memorial related items, such as obituary pages, sympathy cards, funeral flowers and the like. The memorial display includes a page retainer for receiving a display page, such as an obituary page. A transparent holder is provided for receiving the page retainer and securing the display page therein. A face plate, such as a memorial placard, is secured to a front face of the transparent holder. A framing mat, having opposed front and rear faces and a central cutout portion formed therethrough, is positioned against the transparent front face of the transparent holder for bordering the face plate. A frame member receives the page retainer, the transparent holder, the face plate and the framing mat such that the face plate is displayed through the front end of the frame member and the display page is displayed through the rear end.

A magnetic securing mechanism secures the lid in the closed position with the box base. The picture frame lid having a an inner peripheral picture slot with an edge slot opening thereinto for installing and removing the a picture stack from the frame. A door slide portion of the picture frame lid fits over picture slot adjacent one end of the picture frame and is secured in a closed position therewith by another magnetic securing mechanism.

Abstract: Provided herein are urns for receipt and storage of the cremated remains of a deceased person, such as a fisherman, the urns having the shape of a fishing lure, and a method of memorializing a deceased person within such an urn. Each urn includes a hollow body having an opening therein, the opening being fitted with a closure device, such as a plug, cap, or slidable door. The present urns permit the surviving relative or friend to cherish the memories of the deceased and to honor the deceased's interests by storing his cremated remains in a urn configured to resemble a fishing lure and by displaying the urn in a stand, a holder, or a shadow box. The urn, stand, or shadow box may be engraved or labeled with the name or initials, birth and death dates or years, or other information about, or messages honoring, the deceased fisherman.

Abstract: A supportive display container having an inner structure and an outer structure. The dimensions of the inner structure and the outer structure are such that when the outer structure has been placed over the inner structure, there is a gap between the side or sides of the inner structure and the side or sides of the outer structure which can hold an insert consisting of compressible material. The gap is of such a dimension that compression of the insert and friction prevent the inner structure and the outer structure from slipping apart. Preferably the side or sides of the outer structure are transparent to permit viewing of a message or design that is preferably on the insert. When the top of the inner structure is open, devices for stacking cubes, holders for cards, and display platforms can be inserted into the interior of the inner structure.

Abstract: A wall-mounted cabinet style display case for displaying an athletic uniform jersey neatly inside. The back frame of the cabinet is fastened to the wall first. The back frame has a flat open pocket inside and the jersey is neatly displayed by hanging the jersey on uniform specific shaped hangers and folding the jersey inside and around the pocket for proper jersey display length. A completely removable front frame fastens to the back frame by first latching the top back of the front frame to the top of the back frame. The front frame is secured using metal plates on the back of the front frame and opposable magnets located on the back frame.

Abstract: A personalizable memory container including a container portion having a cavity therein, a sealable capsule selectively disposable in the cavity, and mementos selectively presentable on reconfigurable spaces on the container portion. The mementos can conceal the capsule when the capsule is disposed in the cavity and when the mementos are selectively presented on the reconfigurable spaces.

Abstract: A multipiece keepsake display comprising a shell, the shell being at least partially transparent and having an open side that provides access to an interior region; a sealing plate for sealing the open side of the shell; a display plate that is at least partially transparent, the display plate being mountable to at least one of the shell and the sealing plate; wherein a first item is enclosable within the interior region of the shell by the sealing plate being sealed to the open side of the shell and a second item is enclosable intermediate the sealing plate and the display plate when the display plate is mounted to at least one of the shell and the sealing plate; whereby the first item is viewable through the transparent portion of the shell and the second item is viewable through the display plate. A method of constructing a keepsake display is also provided.

Abstract: An improved picture frame having an open display pocket mounted behind a viewing aperture for changing the picture displayed within the frame. An easel is mounted to the rear of the frame for supporting the frame in either a portrait or landscape orientation. A hanging apparatus is provided for mounting the picture frame to a wall. A plate with radially outwardly-facing substantially circular cylindrical surfaces attaches to the wall. A hanger mounts to the frame and has radially inwardly-facing substantially circular cylindrical surfaces seating against the cylindrical surfaces of the plate. The plate has a first lip extending radially outwardly of the cylindrical surfaces of the plate and the hanger has a second lip extending radially outwardly of the cylindrical surfaces of the hanger.

Abstract: Modular photo storage assemblies are provided for storing photographic materials. Each modular photo storage assembly can be both individually displayed and interchangeably engaged as a module in a photo storage system.

Abstract: A memorial picture frame has an outer frame that houses an image of a decedent and a hollow frame configured to house the decedent's cremated remains. The translucent hollow frame is connected to a front surface of the outer frame so as to frame the housed image and to display the ashes of the decedent. The hollow frame, which has four hollow members each having a closed end, an open end for receiving the ashes of the deceased, and a removable closure member, is detachable from the outer frame so as to facilitate deposit of the decedent's ashes therein. A rotatable device that is configured to house and deployably display a scroll containing information related to the decedent is connected to the outer frame.

Abstract: A dispenser for dispensing materials is provided including a container for holding the material to be dispensed, a plurality of frame portions for holding decorative items, locking apparatus for locking the frame portions to the container, and a dispensing means for dispensing materials from the container. The dispenser also includes a base for receiving the container and frame portions, a memory device for playing a sound when the dispenser is removed from the base, and a switch for activating the memory device when the container is removed from the base. The plurality of frames each contain an aperture and each aperture contains an inner edge operable to lock onto the container. The frames each contain clips to lock onto each other and hold the container. The dispenser includes a dispensing mechanism and the base includes an opening for receiving the dispensing mechanism.

Abstract: A picture frame assembly in which tiles bearing letters, numerals, symbols or other indicia are affixed to the frame to provide a personalized or customized appearance. The tiles may slide within a groove integrally formed in the frame or be magnetically attached to the frame. In the non-magnetic embodiment, the tiles have raised rails extending from the perimeter of the tile which hold the tile to the frame. The rails may be spring loaded (retractable) for easier mounting.

Abstract: A unique combination of a picture frame for displaying a visual image of the deceased person along with a preferably tubular storage container which holds a quantity of the cremation remains of the deceased person within the perimeter structure of the picture frame itself. A hollow groove is formed into the picture frame perimeter into which the hollow storage container, preferably in the form of a closed rectangular loop, may be inserted and secured before or after being filled with the cremated ashes. A viewing port of those ashes within a hollow transparent segment of the storage container may also be provided. Alternately, a separate cremation ashes storage frame attachable to the back side of a conventional picture frame is also provided.

Abstract: A combination picture retaining and item storing device that has an integrally formed plastic structure. The structure includes at least two sidewalls that extend from a base. At least one of the sidewalls has a hole formed through the sidewall. A storage area is disposed adjacent and integrally formed with the at least two sidewalls. A separate picture retaining member having a translucent planar body including first and second parallel portions are joined at a radius. The first and second parallel portions allow for retention of a picture in a gap formed by the opposing portions. Retaining features formed on an inner surface and around a periphery of the hole positions the picture retaining member within the periphery of the hole and allows for easy removal of the picture retaining member.

Abstract: A framing device, used for displaying items such as photographs, certificates and the like, includes a translucent sheet-like material having an outward side and an inward side, both having a common continuous edge. An adhesive is applied along the inward side adjacent to the continuous edge in such a manner that a portion of such edge remains adhesive-free. A sheet of backing material has a first side and a second side and the first side of such foam is positionally secured by the adhesive and with respect to the translucent material. And a release liner is attached to the second side of the backing material. The adhesive-free portion of the edge and the sheet of backing material define a slot permitting insertion and removal of an item to be displayed.

Abstract: A kit is provided for a pendant like award that assembles into an attractive display. It comprises the plaque-like member having peripheral edges on the front side with decorative materials, adhesives, and a location for event information, a predetermined cavity on back side having a counter bore rim with sides and bottom edge, a clearance cut on the top interior edge of the cavity and a fastener hole near each corner. A felt pad is positioned near each backside corner of the plaque-like member to protect other surfaces. Also a predetermined cover plate having a notch for means of either affixation to a wall surface, or used as an attachment of a leg for free standing. Fasteners are positioned through counter sunk holes in the cover plate into the plaque-like member in order to attach the cover plate. Once assembled, the invention provides a specific space where the ribbon can be stored.

Abstract: The process for making a picture frame having printed border artwork on a transparent front panel with irregular outer and inner edges and having an attached rear panel having a picture frame folding stand therein. The process includes the printing of border art on a sheet of a material having a covered pressure sensitive adhesive backing and attaching it to the front panel. The front panel is then laser cut along the computer marked cut path to cut along the outside and inside edges of the printed border artwork while cutting a window therein. The cutout window is removed and a thin transparent polymer sheet is attached thereover. A picture frame back is cut with a foldout stand and is attached to the front panel to form the picture frame.

Abstract: The invention is a device that enables a child's baby bib to be preserved and displayed along with other memorabilia in a permanent holder. The baby bib is mounted on a frame backing sheet by slits. The sheet is attached to a frame that allows for a removable placement of a display board, which may contain photographs and other memorabilia. The entire combined holder and display is readily mountable in a book or album.

Abstract: A display box for displaying a photograph and holding an E-Z Pass unit therein and attaching it to a windshield of a vehicle. The display box includes an open side for receiving the photograph and the E-Z Pass unit; a front panel having an open window for displaying the photograph; and a back panel having two spaced-apart openings for receiving therethrough attachment strips of the E-Z Pass unit for removably attaching the display box to the windshield of a vehicle.

Abstract: A device, used for holding and displaying items such as photographs, certificates, compact discs and the like, includes a coversheet having an outward side and an inward side and an edge. A foam sheet material has front and back sides with the front side being connected with respect to the coversheet such that the device includes an entry portion to a pocket for holding the item. The back side of such foam clings to a display surface in a removable and replaceable manner. A backing material may be positioned between the foam sheet material and the coversheet.

Abstract: A picture frame for displaying a picture and shadowbox articles includes a preformed mat system having a frontal two-ply photomat with two bordered openings. One opening is covered with a desired picture and the other opening is aligned with a backing assembly carrying a shadowbox for displaying an associated solid object. The components may be packaged in kit form for use by individuals without special tools or prior framing experience.

Abstract: A frame panel apparatus for the ready presentation of flat media therein. The apparatus includes a flexible frame arranged to define a peripheral support for a display. An upper transparent panel having a periphery entirely enclosed by the flexible frame and a lower support panel having a periphery with a only a portion thereof supported by a shoulder member of the flexible frame support a display media therebetween.

Abstract: A package for information storage units such as video cassettes, CDs, DVDs, 8 mm tapes and the method of making the package. The packaging has a container of substantially the size of the media storage unit to store the unit. Connected to the container is a photograph frame extending from the side of the container to hold a photograph. The photograph frame has a base panel connected with a window panel at a common hinge on one side of the photograph frame. The window panel has an opening at its middle and the photograph frame can be formed by folding the window panel onto the base panel at the common hinge. Additionally, a postcard panel extends from the photograph frame, where the postcard panel is detachably connected to the photograph frame.

Abstract: The vessel is generally cube-shaped and has a enclosed hollow interior for cremated remains. The interior is accessible only by the opening and closing of the lower panel of the vessel; otherwise the vessel is inaccessible from the outside. The vessel has decoration for visually distinguishing when the vessel is upright from when it is upside down. The front panel of the vessel has a cavity for receipt of a photograph of the deceased or an inscription.

Abstract: Modular storage units are formed for small, household articles so that the units can be stacked vertically one atop another. Each unit is formed with a box supported from beneath by a stand for rotation relative to the stand about a central, vertical axis of rotation. The stand has a base that covers a horizontal stand base area and supports the flat bottom of the box. The top of the box is flat and has a concave, upwardly facing recess at its center that has a shape configured to snugly received the stand of a unit stacked directly above. Any number of modular storage units can be stacked one atop another with the stand of each unit being centered and laterally confined by the stand receiving recess in the top of the box located immediately below. In this way all of the boxes are rotatable independently of each other about a common, vertical axis of rotation. The contents of the boxes may be accessed either by forming the box with an open side, or by forming each top of the box as a removable lid.

Abstract: A shallow box binder cover is provided for a binder containing a plurality of pages. The cover has a stiff, opaque core through which a plurality of display openings are defined. These display openings are surrounded by the structure of the cover core. A separate transparent plastic blister or box is located in each of the display openings. Each transparent box has a raised interior bubble surrounded by a base having mounting flanges projecting laterally from opposite sides of the periphery of the base. These mounting flanges are held against the inside surface of the front cover core so that the raised interior bubbles project into the display openings and into close proximity to the outer surface of the cover core. A front cover liner is disposed across the bases of the boxes to define separate, hollow enclosed cavities within the interior portions of each of the bubbles. Selected three-dimensional objects are placed within the bubbles before the front cover liner is disposed across the bases of the boxes.

Abstract: A tank is combined with a picture frame. The tank has a housing with a recessed portion extending into the interior of the tank. The recessed portion is preferably unitarily formed in a front panel of the tank. The recessed portion is reinforced. The tank preferably has a flat bottom to be used on a table top, and has mounting brackets so it may be hung on a wall. The tank may serve as a fish tank, or other tank, and is preferably a clear plastic.

The panel has embedded therewithin a plurality of ferrous articles located at uniform intervals across the display surface of the display panel and concealed from view. Preferably, a positioning sheet is employed with positioning openings defined therethrough. The positioning sheet is located directly against the front surface of the display panel. Magnetic articles, such as magnetic ball marker attracting patches, golf divot tools bearing magnets, golf ball markers having magnets therein, and other small objects containing one or more magnets can be displayed on the display device merely by bringing the magnetic articles into contact with the display board at the positioning openings defined therein.

Abstract: A holder for assorted desktop articles such as pens, pencils, scissors, rulers, and the like. The holder comprises an annular top member, a cup-shaped container, a cylindrical sleeve, an annular base member, and a separate pen holder.

Abstract: A photo album case or other storage container is formed with an outer shell having laterally enclosing walls and an end structure opposite an open end to the shell. At least one transparent display panel is formed in the shell, and preferably the shell is formed from a single sheet of transparent stock. A stiff, inner display retainer is inserted into the open end of the shell and fits into the storage cavity defined within the shell. The display retainer conforms to the shape of at least the transparent display panel wall. The display retainer preferably extends beyond the display wall to extend across another of the inner shell surfaces immediately adjacent thereto. A visual display sheet, such as a photographic print, is located between the transparent display wall and the display retainer. The display sheet may be merely inserted in between the transparent display wall and the display retainer, or it may be mounted upon either the retainer or the inner surface of the transparent display panel wall.
