Abstract: The present invention provides a multi-purpose composite membrane with high breakage strength and peel strength and preparation method and use thereof, and relates to the technical field of shoemaking material preparation. The preparation method of the multi-purpose composite membrane with high breakage strength and peel strength comprises the following steps: (1) processing layer preparation; (2) functional layer preparation; (3) functional composite layer preparation; (4) resin layer preparation; and (5) composite membrane preparation. In the present invention, the composite membrane containing the substrate layer, the pattern design base layer, the resin layer and the texture fabric made by the foregoing five steps has good high and low temperature flexural resistance, low temperature fracture resistance, high strip forces and high delay wash times.

Abstract: An application device for a screen protector and an application method thereof are provided for applying an adhesive film to a screen of an electronic device with ease and precision. The application device is formed as a frame-like structure having an internal hollow region. The screen protector includes, from top to bottom, a protective layer, an adhesive film layer, and a release layer sequentially bonded together. The protective layer is greater in area than the adhesive film layer or the release layer and has a peripheral portion extending outwardly beyond the adhesive film layer or the release layer. The peripheral portion of the protective layer is attached to a frame-shaped top surface of the application device while the adhesive film layer and the release layer bonded thereto are placed in, and lie adjacent to a top portion of, the internal hollow region of the application device.

A compressible member is attached to the outer walls to adhere an image receiving medium to the supporting frame. Compressible member includes a first adhesive on the outer walls, a polymer foam substrate (having a compression index ranging from about 0.4 to about 0.8) on the first adhesive, and a second adhesive on the polymer foam substrate. Second adhesive is to secure the image receiving medium to the supporting frame.

Abstract: This invention relates to the general field of photo mounting, and more specifically toward a template and mounting assembly that can be used to effectively mount a photograph. The template has a basic design of a hard surface bordered by four open sections, which can be universally applied to a variety of different sizes and configurations of photographs. The mounting assembly includes four brackets that form the underlying frame of the mounted photograph.

Abstract: The present reflector is an acrylic screen or curtain created for the purpose of illuminating designs and images by candlelight. The reflector is a free standing, thermo-molded, light-weight, acrylic form with decorative fabric affixed to the convex side of the form to be used in conjunction with a candle placed within the concave area of the form for illuminating the fabric images and softening the light from the candle. The concave side of the form, not covered with the fabric, reflects the light in such a way as to give the appearance of a flame levitating in the air, as if a hologram, above the actual candle. The designs are printed on a synthetic poly silk fabric using dye sublimation process and may easily be cleaned with a damp sponge or cloth. The. curved acrylic form is edged with copper foiling for a decorative finish that will patina over time.

A sheet of backing material has a first side and a second side and the first side of such foam is positionally secured by the adhesive and with respect to the translucent material. And a release liner is attached to the second side of the backing material. The adhesive-free portion of the edge and the sheet of backing material define a slot permitting insertion and removal of an item to be displayed.

Abstract: A sign kit according to the invention includes a stiff backing in a predetermined size and a transparent cover sheet having dimensions sufficient to cover one face of the backing. Suitable means for mounting a sign, such as a built in stand or hanger, may be included along with a flexible sheet such as a sheet of paper printed on a front face thereof with sign information and adhered by a rear face thereof with an adhesive to a front face of the backing. The sign kit provides makes it possible to use desktop publishing, i.e., personal computers and software, to prepare professional quality signs in various sizes shapes and designs.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a photo album comprising a plurality of mounting sheets, and interleaves interposed between two mounting sheets, respectively, each mounting sheet being formed at either surface thereof with an adhesive layer for use in attachment of a photograph. As the adhesive layer formed at the surface of each mounting sheet is positioned only on a region where a photograph will be attached, it is possible to prevent a remaining portion of the mounting sheet, where it is unnecessary to attach a photograph, from being contaminated due to a pollutant such as dirt and debris, as well as to restrict an attachment area of each interleaf to the adhesive layer. Further, even if the adhesive layer where the photograph is not attached is contaminated, in order to prevent such a contaminated portion from being easily visible, the mounting sheet is further formed with a pollutant hiding portion having a colored surface portion at least on a region where the adhesive layer is formed.

The place mat assembly includes a substantially continuous base sheet having a first surface and a second surface, at least one of the surfaces having an adhesive layer applied thereto for retaining the planar objects on the base sheet. The place mat assembly also includes a substantially continuous transparent cover sheet structured and arranged to sealably secure the planar objects between the base sheet and the cover sheet.

Abstract: A form with a well has a form layer with a top and a bottom surface and a perimeter, a die cut through the form layer that defines a portion of said form layer within said die cut, a patch layer having a perimeter and top and bottom surfaces, and an adhesive layer that is repositionable and peelable. The patch layer is adhesively but removably secured to the bottom surface of the form layer such that the die cut and form layer portion are entirely within the perimeter of the patch layer. The form has a well, that is created by removal of the form layer portion from within the die cut. The bottom of the well is the top surface of said adhesive layer and the sides of the well are the edges of said die cut. The adhesive layer has a greater affinity for the patch layer than the form layer portion such that when the form layer portion is removed from the form, the adhesive stays adhered to the patch layer. Articles such as photographs may then be inserted into the well.

Abstract: A novel method of advertising in appropriate bound or unbound publications wherein the pages of the publication are folded in half and may be bound along one edge by either saddle-stitching or perfect-binding the pages at the center of the publication together, wherein a carrier member formed of a folded member that is appropriately bound into the publication and has at least one adhesive strip or a plurality of adhesive spots positioned adjacent one edge for mounting a substantially thinner mouse pad thereon for ease of removal and subsequent use. The mouse pad is formed of a thin generally transparent plastic material and carries advertising printed on the undersurface of the pad, which advertising is viewed through the transparent pad; the mouse pad acting to insure that the publication will flip open at the position of the pad so that the viewer or reader will see the advertising early in the inspection of the publication.

Abstract: A three-dimensional, lightweight and thin frame made from a single sheet of formable material such as printed and embossed paper and a flexible transparent cover. The cover is countersunk into and held flat against a mat region in the center of the front of the frame, leaving the surrounding frame region free for whatever two- and three-dimensional ornament is desired. An article holding recess is further countersunk into the center of the mat region such that when an item is placed therein the cover may still lie perfectly flat and away from the item. The article holding recess may be accessed by pulling the cover up from one side of the mat region, where it is held with restickable adhesive, while the other side remains firmly in place, held with permanent adhesive. An article for display, such as a photo, may then be fixed against the back of the article holding recess, which is also covered with restickable adhesive, and the cover then smoothed back down flat.

Various indicia relating to a specific event for which the ticket was purchased can be printed on the main card thereby enhancing the display of the ticket.

The transparent panels are overlapped so that the top edges are exposed and open. Each of the polymer panels is attached at its left and right edges and its bottom edge. The bottom panel is attached all along its bottom edge while the top and middle polymer panels have left, central and right attachment points which act as stops. The stops position horizontally oriented photographs and permit vertically oriented photographs to stand therebetween. The page configuration thus accepts vertical or horizontal orientation without modification.

Abstract: A frameless picture mount is formed of a series of flat, planar elements adhesively laminated together to form the complete assembly. A laminated backing board comprising a foam core sandwiched between opposed sheets of coated paper is used as a base for the assembly, with a flat, planar display article (photograph, picture, etc.) adhesively secured to the front of the backing board by a series of double sided adhesive tape strips. The display article is protected by a clear plastic laminating sheet which is adhesively sealed to the front of the article. A base sheet having a guide grid for mounting images, including a string of preprinted character units may be slid through the slot and into the pocket in alignment for display via the front display unit openings. Alternatively, the system may include a container for storing three dimensional items as well as graphic works. The custom display storage system may also comprise a kit with a selection of character units and an album or storage container with a variety of display units.
