Abstract: A frame system according to one embodiment includes a hollow outer frame element that includes a plurality of recesses formed along inner faces of walls of the outer frame element. The outer frame element further includes a plurality of ribs formed along the inner face and an inner landing that protrudes inwardly into a center opening of the outer frame element. The frame system also includes a back plate configured for insertion into the center opening. The back plate includes a plurality of locking ribs for reception within the plurality of recesses to generate a snap-fit attachment of the back plate to the hollow outer frame element.

Abstract: A frame system includes a mount having an outer surface for receiving an adhesive for placement on a support surface and an inner surface that includes a plurality of first coupling elements. The frame system also includes a hollow outer frame element and a back plate configured for insertion into and attachment to the outer frame element. The back plate includes a plurality of second coupling elements that mate with the first coupling elements for attaching the back plate to the mount in such a way that the back plate can rotate relative to the mount to allow for adjustment of the combined outer frame element and the back plate.

The latch mechanism includes a movable member, a latch member, and a linkage mechanism. The movable member is moved from a first position to a second position when magnetically engaged by a tool magnet. The latch member moves between a first latch member position and a second latch member position and can engage a chassis mating structure when in the first latch member position. The linkage mechanism mechanically connects the movable member to the latch member so that they move together such that the latch member is in the first latch member position when the movable member is in the first position and is in the second latch member position when the movable member is in the second position.

A plurality of retainers mounts to the frame about an inner periphery of the frame to retain the planar display pane within the frame. At least one of the plurality of retainers is elastically deformable to deform during installation of the planar display into the frame, and to expand to retain the planar display pane within the frame. A plurality of apertures or a channel may be formed in the frame about the dado. The plurality of retainers may mount to the frame within the plurality of apertures or the channel of the frame to retain the planar display pane within the frame.

Such material is stretched and held in place by the display system so as to provide a desirable aesthetic result. The display systems are easily removable or changeable, allowing customization. Likewise, such display systems may be used with conventional frames.

Abstract: A system for displaying electronic shelf labels (ESLs) or other devices includes a label holder. The label holder includes a base plate, adhesive, suction cups, and dowels. The base plate has two opposing side upon which an ESL may be adhesively engaged and supported. When supporting a single ESL on only one side of the base plate, the opposite side of the base plate may be equipped with suction cups or front facing dowels with which the label holder may be attached to a surface. When supporting ESLs on both sides of the base plate, dowels may be inserted along perimeter surfaces of the base plate in order to allow the holder to be secured into or onto surfaces having openings capable of receiving the exposed ends of the dowels, such as those constructed of pegboard, etc.

The mounting device configuration provides an aesthetically desirable display of the collectable with only minimal visibility of the mounting device components and which may include a floating effect on a wall.

The module includes a module support structure, a plurality of light-emitting elements coupled to the module support structure, and one or more latch assemblies configured to removeably couple the module support structure to a support chassis. Each of the one or more latch assemblies includes a first magnet movably coupled with the module support structure at a first location. The assemblies further include a second magnet movably coupled with the module support structure at a second location. The second magnet is movable relative to the module support structure between a first corresponding position and a second corresponding position. The assemblies further include a shaft connecting the first magnet and the second magnet so that the first magnet and the second magnet move together.

Abstract: A frame that is fitted around the border of a display device such as, but not limited to, a television set is disclosed. The frame is configured to be removably mounted to the display device. According to one embodiment of the invention, the frame has multi-piece construction which provides for advertising panels to be removably inserted into the frame. The frame and the advertising panels may be constructed of a material which allows transmission of infrared and/or RF signals to pass through. Optionally, the frame and/or the advertising panels may include knock-out panels positioned over a receiver for an infrared and/or RF signal. A mounting system, such as a hook-and-loop fastening system, may be used to mount the frame to the display device.

Abstract: The present invention relates to artwork preservation, and more particularly to an artwork preservation system that utilizes vacuum and is particularly suited to framed artwork. The artwork preservation system includes: a pair of corrugated planar members constructed and arranged to overlap a front side and back side of an artwork; at least one securing element, such as hook and loop fastener, for mating the first and second corrugated boards when the artwork is placed there between; a layer of air cushioning; and a sealable bag. The system may further include a vacuum pump for removing air from the sealable bag.

Abstract: An interchangeable display system is disclosed, configured for mounting a display art frame to a door, or the like. The system is adapted to receive interchangeable art inserts, displays, etc., at the will of the proprietor without professional installation. The system provides a proprietor with the capability to customize a door, or the like, with a locking platform mechanism that enhances existing residential and commercial door design configurations. Access is provided to interchangeable art work, for example, without the industry standard to permanently fixate the artwork directly onto or within a door. The system is fixated on one side. The opposing side is, for example, a flanged matching backplate that is locked with a single or multiple sliding and locking hinge mechanism. A perimeter channel is disposed between the front and back frame plates to receive, for example, a translucent decorative art piece, that fits within the channel cavity.

Abstract: Systems and methods for producing an accessorizable frame system comprising a display plate, a frame plate, and an attachment, which selectively and releaseably holds the display plate away from the frame plate, are disclosed. In some instances, to accessorize the frame system, a user adds an aligner, a liner, a back cover, and/or any other suitable component to the frame system.

The display system includes a base and an object-holding assembly. The object-holding assembly can be releasably attached to the base through the use of a fastener, which allows the base to remain mounted to a mounting surface when changing display objects. In a preferred embodiment, the fastener employs magnetic force to connect the base and the object-holding assembly. The display object is retained between a resting plate and a cover plate, the two plates being releasably attached to each other by the use of at least one holding device, which may be selected from clips, clasps, hinges and elastic bands.

Abstract: A picture frame comprises a frame member defining an opening and a front surface and a rear surface. First and second substantially parallel grooves are formed on either the front or rear surface, and at least one spline is provided which can be releasably located within the first or second grooves. Further, a method of mounting a work on a picture frame is provided and comprises placing the work face down on a work surface, and placing the frame member over the work so that the front surface of the frame member is touching the work. The work is folded over the edge of the frame member to be adjacent the rear surface of the frame member. Abstract: A protective cover support rack for electronic devices includes at least a protective cover body, a support lid and a hinge assembly. The protective cover body has an inner rim with an annular U-shaped trough formed thereon to hold and encase the body of an electronic device, and a lower half portion to cover the back side of the electronic device. The support lid can be adjusted at an angle smaller than 360 degrees to allow users to swivel to the front side as required to protect the screen of the electronic device, or adjust to a standing position to facilitate viewing, or fold it to fully in contact with back side of the protective cover body at a storing position, or swivel to facilitate hand grasping in use.

Abstract: A sign system comprises one or more box-like modules having a front section and a corresponding rear section sized to fit together in sliding engagement to define an interior cavity. The sections may be joined together with fasteners which engage the side panels of each section thereby leaving the front and rear surfaces free of discontinuities. The sign modules may be affixed to a generally planar surface or supported on internal or external mounting posts. During installation, the rear section may be mounted first and the front section subsequently attached to the rear section. In this way only approximately one-half of the total weight of the sign need be lifted and manipulated at any one time thereby facilitating installation. The interior cavity defined by the front and rear sections may accommodate lighting means for internally lighting the sign.

Abstract: An adjustable stand raises the height of a computer display to eye level, for greater viewing comfort and better ergonomics. A unique design allows the stand to collapse down to two thin plates. When disassembled, the stand is approximately the size of a magazine, making it ideal for carrying in a laptop bag together with the laptop itself. Smaller versions for smaller devices (e.g., smartphones, video players, etc.) are possible. Other applications are also possible (e.g., holding photos, artwork, books, etc.).

When the second end portion is inserted into the first hole, the second end portion and the middle portion pass through the first hole and the first end portion urges against the periphery of the second hole to receive the second end portion in the third hole. Abstract: A picture frame for holding and displaying content. The picture frame has an edge with a channel receiving the content. An edge segment is attachable to and detachable from the remainder of the edge, using magnets, to allow insertion and removal of the content. A back has a front face to which the edge remainder is attached and a rear face including one or more magnets for attaching the back to a magnetically attractive surface. An optional stand has a plurality of elements that engage at least one of the back magnets to support the back in multiple directions and orientations. An optional hanger is made of a magnetically attracted material for engaging at least one of the back magnets and attach the hanger to the back. The hanger is configured to engage a fastener and hang the picture frame from the fastener when the stand is not in use.

The invention provides a viewing device which is as flat as possible in its rest position and which can be changed to a viewing position in a simple and reproducible manner and with little effort. The housing is erected using a lever-type cover element which at least partially covers the front in the rest position of the viewing device and which can be swiveled outward in order to erect the housing.
