Abstract: In one embodiment, a frame assembly includes a mitered frame base including a plurality of rail sections that are joined together in corners of the mitered frame base by a plurality of fasteners. Each rail section includes a first surface for receiving a layered image arrangement. The frame assembly also includes a plurality of mitered splines that are configured to snap-fittingly mate with the plurality of rail sections. Each spline having a second surface that faces the first surface of one of the respective rail sections for securing the layered image arrangement between the spline and the rail section. A corner gap is formed between ends of respective mitered splines in each corner of the frame assembly. A plurality of corner pieces are received within the corner gaps to complete the frame assembly, the plurality of corner pieces snap-fittingly engaging the plurality of rails sections.

The blank includes an image receiving surface, a back surface opposed to the image receiving surface, a center portion defining a perimeter, and at least three foldable extensions extending from the perimeter. Each of the foldable extensions includes no less than four folds to be folded toward the back surface to form the three-dimensional supporting frame. A tab line is scored in one of the folds of each of the at least three foldable extensions, the tab line to be released to form a tab to be secured to the back surface when the folds are folded. An adhesion promoting layer is present on the back surface at the center portion.

Abstract: A snap-together poster frame includes a plurality of edge supports, each comprising a plurality of segments having a slotted, channel-shaped cross-sectional profile to define a single opening having an unobstructed mouth for receiving an edge of a poster board. The segments include a top wall, a bottom wall and a sidewall joining the top and bottom walls. The edge support is resilient and the sidewall includes a generally L-shaped instep by which it is joined to the bottom wall having three flex points which allows the opening to adjust to the width of the posterboard inserted therein, thereby retaining the edge of the poster board via an interference fit.

Abstract: The present invention relates to corner pieces which are incorporated in a frame for securing and displaying a work of art. The corner piece is adapted to be disposed between adjacent frame members thereby allowing a frame builder to adjust the dimensional allowance of the frame opening once the frame members are cut. The corner piece includes a body member having an upper surface, a lower surface, a first end, a second end, and a lip portion. The upper surface of the corner piece substantially corresponds to the configuration of the adjacently disposed frame members. The lip portion of the corner piece is adapted to overlay a portion of the work of art disposed within the confines of the frame. The corner piece may be provided with one or more slots disposed in the lower surface of the body member adapted to receive a connector for stabilizing the corner piece between the adjacently disposed frame members of the frame.

Abstract: An improved structure of a side rail of an advertising panel includes a framework having four liftable side rails and four corner pedestals for connecting with these four side rails, and the corner pedestal is hollow and the L-shaped side of the corner pedestal is an opening. With this arrangements, these corner pedestals of the advertising panel are possible simply by lifting these side rails easily to change an advertising board fast and the latter is therefore more convenient for use to lift.

A frame includes a plurality of first, second, third and fourth elongate and interconnecting peripheral members, each of the peripheral members including, in cross section, a top surface, an outer edge surface, and an inner edge surface terminating in a foot portion. A planar and rigid backing possesses a selected thickness and dimension corresponding to that of the assembled and interconnecting peripheral members. The backing also includes a rearwardly facing surface and a forwardly facing and adhering surface. A plurality of angled corner braces interengage between the rigid backing and the peripheral members to maintain the integrity of the frame device. A flexible and planar shaped transparent overlay is arrayed over the adhering surface of the rigid backing and between the peripheral and interconnecting members.

Abstract: A size adjustable mounting frame for encompassing a television screen protector and for fastening the so-framed screen protector to a television housing to extend over the television projection screen. The adjustable mounting frame includes a plurality of frame members equal to the number of longitudinal edges of the television screen protector. Each of the frame members has a first end, a second end, at least one engager for attaching the frame member to an edge of the screen protector, and at least one retainer member for attaching the frame member to a television housing receptor member. The adjustable mounting frame also includes a plurality of angled connector members for connecting adjacent respective end portions of adjacent frame members to each other. Each connector member includes a first end a second end, such that each end thereof is configured to slideably accept a selected length of the end portion of one frame member in accord with the size of the screen protector.

Abstract: A picture frame is comprised of joint pieces and elongated members. The joint pieces constitute the corners of a frame. The elongated members define the sides of a picture frame. Fastening hardware is employed to secure the entire apparatus. The joint pieces are cut or molded from a material similar to, or compatible with, the elongated members with which a rigid connection is made. Different angles of miter cuts may be made to vary the design of the picture frame. Similarly, different sizes and shapes of joint pieces may be made to additionally vary frame size and design. The joint pieces can be used to replace conventional frame corners which have been damaged, to change the size and appearance of used frames, or to provide additional dimension and design alternatives for new frames.

Abstract: A frame having the appearance of a Hicks frame or moulding is disclosed. The frame comprises four mitred frame elements with grooves cut into the mitred surfaces so that when the frame is assembled, a connector can be inserted into the grooves of adjacent frame elements to hold the frame together. Corner pieces which resemble conventional Hicks type corner pieces hide the junctions between adjacent frame elements. Each corner piece includes a connector which fits into the grooves of two adjacent frame elements to hold the frame together.

Abstract: A window display frame having a top panel, a bottom panel and two side panels. Each panel has an inner surface defining a channel for placement of the replacement window, an outer surface, and two ends. Each side panel has a longitudinal groove extending from each end along the center of the outer surface to an end point, and a bore located adjacent each end point. The bore preferably has a depth that is greater than the depth of the groove. There are four L-shaped corner brackets mounted one on each end of the top and bottom panels. Each corner bracket comprises two legs, an inner surface, an outer surface and inwardly flanged edges. Each end of the top and bottom panels is attached to and fits snugly into the inner surface of one leg of a corner bracket between the flanged edges. The free leg of each corner bracket can then be used for attachment to a side panel to complete the frame. The free leg of each corner panel has a protrusion located on the inner surface.

Each corners member is configured to adjustably receive therethrough the projecting leg of an adjacent corner member such that four corner members can be coupled together to form a frame adjustable to a desired size.

Abstract: A frame for framing a poster or similar on a wall is disclosed. The frame requires no rigid backing element since the wall itself serves to support the poster. The frame includes a top piece, at least two side members and a plurality of corner pieces for connecting the top piece and the side members to form an enclosing frame. Each of the side members has a front portion and a rear portion, with these portions being connected together to form an inwardly facing groove for receiving edge portions of the poster. The rear portion is in the form of a thin flange having opposed front and rear surfaces with the front surface partially delimiting the groove.
