Abstract: An image system can comprise a sheet of clear thermoplastic material formed to define an interior space configured for disposal of an image or a three-dimensional object. The sheet can comprise a substrate upon which an image can be directly printed or otherwise attached. The image system can comprise two or more panes that meet at a vertex along a corner or are oriented at an angle relative to one another. The vertex can be formed using a tool in combination with selective heating and cooling of the thermoplastic material. The image can extend across at least two of the panes. The image system can comprise a mount configured to deter theft or tampering. Connectors can be utilized to connect two or more image systems to one another.

Abstract: A corrugated display sign with a main body having an inner surface and an outer surface, with the body including a first portion and a second portion. The sign further includes at least one or more formers, and in some embodiments two or more formers, secured to the first portion of the inner surface of the main body, with the formers each including a tab section that secures the former to the main body, a front body portion with a wing portion, and a back body portion with a wing portion. Further, the second portion of the main body is folded around the first portion and the formers, so as to create an elongated elliptical shape for the sign. The display sign is capable of being erected from a knockdown configuration to an erected configuration by folding the former body portions and the wing, and folding the second portion of the main body around the first portion and the formers.

Abstract: The present application relates to a paper picture frame including a central rectangular portion and four rectangular tubular frame sections extending along four margins of the central rectangular portion at the rear surface thereof. The paper picture frame further includes a paper stand for holding the paper picture frame on a flat surface. The paper stand may be in the form of a triangular tubular structure formed by a base panel, a first side panel, and a support panel. A second side panel extends from the base panel over the support panel, and has a terminating end extending beyond the first side panel. A blank for forming the paper picture frame and a method for holding a picture in the paper picture frame supported on the paper stand are also disclosed.

Abstract: A foldable frame assembly includes an integral sheet having a central area surrounded by opposed pairs of foldable frame areas. The foldable frame areas each include a first section, a second section, and a third section. The integral sheet includes a plurality of lines of weakness that delineate a boundary of the central area, the first sections, the second sections, and the third sections. The foldable frame areas are folded along respective lines of weakness such that the first sections form forward-facing frame front walls, and the second sections form inward-facing side front walls. The third sections extend under the second sections and abut the first sections, and secured to the central area. The first sections form acute angles with both the second sections and the third sections.

Abstract: An image display including an image substrate and a support structure. The image substrate has an image printed on a first surface. The support structure can include a front sheet, a back sheet and a plurality of side strips secured between the front sheet and the back sheet for forming a closed support structure. An internal support can be provided in an internal cavity of the support structure for enhancing the rigidity of the support structure. The image substrate can be adhered to an external surface of the front sheet so that the front sheet forms a rigid backing for the image substrate. A variety of image substrates are provided.

Abstract: An art frame includes a three-dimensional supporting frame having an image receiving surface and a back surface opposed thereto, and a center portion defining a perimeter from which at least three foldable extensions extend. Each foldable extension includes no less than four folds folded toward the back surface to form a frame portion having an outer wall substantially perpendicular to the back surface, and an inner wall substantially perpendicular to the back surface and substantially parallel to the outer wall. A compressible member is attached to the outer walls to adhere an image receiving medium to the supporting frame. Compressible member includes a first adhesive on the outer walls, a polymer foam substrate (having a compression index ranging from about 0.4 to about 0.8) on the first adhesive, and a second adhesive on the polymer foam substrate. Second adhesive is to secure the image receiving medium to the supporting frame.

Abstract: A three-dimensional supporting frame includes a blank. The blank includes an image receiving surface, a back surface opposed to the image receiving surface, a center portion defining a perimeter, and at least three foldable extensions extending from the perimeter. Each of the foldable extensions includes no less than four folds to be folded toward the back surface to form the three-dimensional supporting frame. A tab line is scored in one of the folds of each of the at least three foldable extensions, the tab line to be released to form a tab to be secured to the back surface when the folds are folded. An adhesion promoting layer is present on the back surface at the center portion.

The frame assembly incorporates mechanically reproduced decorative components onto outwardly facing surfaces in order to provide an inexpensive mimic of a conventional frame. Abstract: A frame assembly for displaying a print is disclosed. The frame assembly comprises a mounting area having a front surface and a back surface and a plurality of sides. Each of the sides have an edge portion and corners disposed between next adjacent sides. The edge portion comprises a first flap foldable about a first crease toward the front surface and a second flap connected to the first flap and foldable about a second crease toward the front surface. A pair of outer tabs is connected to distal ends of each of the second flaps and are foldable about a corner crease such that the outer tabs of the next adjacent second flaps abut when folded. The mounting area defines a plurality of access holes disposed in the mounting area next adjacent the corners for allowing access to the abutting outer tabs from the back surface for securing the outer tabs together to create a beveled appearance.
