    Abstract: A nib for a calligraphic dip pen includes a first inner plate with a first inner plate point end, a second inner plate with a second inner plate point end, and a core with a core top end. The first inner plate and said second inner plate are affixed to the core top end. The first inner plate and the second inner plate are bent toward an axial line of the core such that the first inner plate point end and the second inner plate point end are in contact. The nib for a calligraphic dip pen further includes a spacer plate positioned against either the first inner plate or the second inner plate. The spacer plate includes a spacer plate point end positioned in contact with both the first inner plate and the second inner plate.

The conical nib comprises: a plurality of separated combtooth pieces being able to converge progressively toward front ends thereof and combine to form a virtually conical shape and that the front ends thereof combine to form a virtually spherical shape; a holding member capable of arranging the combtooth pieces along a circumference; and a converging member capable of converging these combtooth pieces; wherein the plurality of separated combtooth pieces are assembled by the holding member and the converging member, both separate from the combtooth pieces, into a conical nib having a writing tip at the front end thereof and an ink feeding path between each combtooth piece.

    Abstract: A writing implement of the present invention is capable of stably feeding ink to the tip of a writing member so that the writing member is able to draw lines in a fixed width and in a fixed ink density. The writing member is formed by superposing thin strips so as to form an ink passage of the shape of a minute gap therebetween. The ink is fed to the tip of the writing member by capillarity of the ink passage. Thus, the ink can be always stably fed to the tip of the writing member regardless of changes of the environment.
