Abstract: To prevent faint writing or writing failure from occurring during a writing operation due to back shock and to reduce shock sound by using a simple structure, a pressure contact member protrudes from one surface or both surfaces on the side of a shaft tube and a knock body so as to come into sliding contact with each other, parts on the side of the shaft tube and the knock body being opposed to each other in a radial direction. Accordingly, even when the part on the side of the knock body retreats with respect to the part on the side of the shaft tube in terms of a releasing operation, a retreat speed of an ink tank becomes slow due to a friction resistance of the pressure contact member, and thus back shock remarkably reduces. As a result, ink does not flow to the ink tank in a reverse direction due to air introduced from a writing tip portion, and shock sound generated when the retreating ink tank returns to a normal position reduces.

Abstract: A pencil mechanism replaces a ballpoint pen refill and has an actuator for containing lead. A point of the mechanism is slidably mounted to the actuator and has a shoulder to engage a step in the pen when an end of the point projects from a writing end of the pen. The point has an open end for projecting the writing tip of the lead and a bushing for frictionally engaging the lead in the point to allow for, but resist axial movement of the lead. A point spring between actuator and point biases them apart and a clutch is slidably mounted to the actuator and point. The clutch has fingers for receiving lead and the actuator engages the clutch to close the fingers and fix the lead. Further forward movement of the actuator projects a writing tip of the lead from the pen as the shoulder engages the step to fix the writing tip in a writing position. The actuator is movable rearwardly for releasing the clutch and the lead and allowing the clutch to move rearwardly in the pen for a repeat of the lead feeding cycle.

First and second springs are provided in the shaft to act elastic restoring force between the control module and the cartridge.

The inner shaft further includes a fastener protruding on its upper end that engages an upper end of the outer shaft. The raised hard or soft parts on the outer surface of the outer shaft may include an oblique loop-shaped part, a strip-shaped part, and/or an arc-shaped part.

The pen with double pen barrels includes two pen barrels connected in parallel, a pen refill in each pen barrel, and a driving member disposed between the two pen barrels. When one of the pen barrels is pressed and moved downward, a pen refill extends out of a front end of the pen barrel, located to be in writing state. Then by releasing a stopper of the pen barrel, the pen barrel moves upward and the pen refill retracts to be in storage state. Thus the pen barrel and the pen refill extends and contracts synchronously. Moreover, interests in use of the pen are increased.

The damp telescopic tube has at least two metallic tubes in different diameters to be fitted together, which can change the total length of the damp telescopic tube by a small tube slipped over a big tube telescopically. This can solve the questions of controlling handle feeling, quality instability and fricative bad voice between metallic tubes. The damp telescopic tube has at least two metallic tubes in different diameters. A small diameter tube is fitted in a big diameter tube in the two adjacent tubes. A limited location member is provided between the small diameter tube and the big diameter tube. A plastic piston is provided in the end of the small diameter tube which located inside of the big diameter tube and keeps in touch with the inside wall of the big diameter tube.

The toy composes of a frontal and rear casings and a decorating object is further attached to the seat. The working piece is driven as the user propels the refill to disengage the frontal casings from the rear casing, creating a slit for allowing the decorating object to be extended and exposed.

Thus, although a user puts the writing instrument, with the cartridge extended, in a pocket without first retracting the cartridge, the cartridge is automatically retracted into the barrel, thus preventing his/her clothing from being stained by the cartridge.

Abstract: A ball point pen has a elongate shank 10 that supports a ball point element inside. A handle 11 can pivot and fold over and be held closed against the shank 10. This allows the pen to be maintained in a folded-up configuration and easily carried in a breast pocket or purse. The pen is biassed towards a writing configuration with the shank and handle connected end-to-end.
