Abstract: An extensible bar comprises a bar and a sleeve that slide over each other and are kept together by a pin. The extensible bar includes a locking system made up of a latch connected by a wire spring to the sleeve, the latch preventing sliding movement between the sleeve and the bar when the latch is positioned within respective recesses formed in the bar and in the sleeve when the recesses are aligned. The wire spring urges the latch into the recesses. Unlocking of the assembly entails pulling the latch out of the recesses by grasping and pulling a handle attached to the latch. The locking system can be blocked by turning the latch about the wire spring into an orientation that prevents the latch from entering the recesses. The locking, unlocking, and blocking functions are performed by an assembly of only three parts; the latch, the wire spring, and the handle.

The yoke 18 includes a groove 24 formed in an outer surface near the end 22. Safety guard bearing 26 is mounted to groove 24. Safety guard bearing 26 also has a groove 28 formed in an outer surface. Due to the relative position of the pivot aperture 36 and the lobe 38, the lobe 38 acts as an over center cam. When lever 30 is in the locked position, lobe 38 extends into groove 28. Lever 30 also includes a locking tongue 46. When the lever 30 is moved to the locking position, locking tongue 46 also extends into groove 28 on safety guard bearing 26. Abstract: Elements, couplers, systems, and methods for joining two or more trough members. A locking element for a coupler of a cable trough system includes a member including a first member end configured to be coupled to the coupler, and a second member end. The locking element also includes a locking member including a first portion slidingly coupled to the second member end of the member, and a second portion extending to a point, and a handle member defining a bottom surface and being pivotally coupled to the second member end of the member, the handle member pivoting between locked and unlocked positions. As the handle member is pivoted from the unlocked to the locked position, the bottom surface moves the locking member along the member so that the point of the locking member extends into a spacing formed by the coupler.

Abstract: The turret of a military vehicle such as a tank is locked in a predetermined position released from this position for installation in another position. The turret has a plurality of holes formed therein arranged in a circular configuration. A pair of lock pins are removably fitted within an adjacent pair of the holes. A single rod is pivotally connected to the lock pins with an operating handle pivotally attached to the rod. Retaining rings are installed on the ends of the rod to retain the lock pins on the rod. The lock pins are angled away from each other and slide on the rod to permit their free entry into adjacent holes. Movement of the handle in a first direction drives the lock pins into adjacent turret holes while movement in the opposite direction withdraws the lock pins from the holes for installation in another pair of holes to change the positioning of the turret.
