    Abstract: A slat angle adjusting mechanism for a window blind includes a shell, a worm gear rotatably disposed in the shell, and a rotationally driving unit rotatably disposed in the shell and including combinable first and second rotationally driving shafts. The first rotationally driving shaft is located in the shell and has a worm portion engaged with the worm gear, a cone-shaped abutting portion and an embedding portion with non-circular cross-section, which are connected with the worm portion in order. A top end of the second rotationally driving shaft is located in the shell and has an axial hole with non-circular cross-section and two opposite fastening portions each formed at a terminal end thereof with a hooking claw. As a result, the first and second rotationally driving shafts are combinable by the consumer, preventing themselves and the slats from damage during packaging and transportation.

    Abstract: A stone/mount combination being mountable to a wall. The stone/mount combination consists of a stone and two mounts. The stone has two parallel edges in each of which a slit is defined. Each mount has a body, a number of fine perpendicularly extending from an edge of the body and a flange perpendicularly extending from an opposite edge of the body. The flange formed on each mount is secured, by means of an adhesive material, in a corresponding slit defined in the stone. Each fin defines a number of apertures. A plurality of screws are inserted through the apertures. A plurality of screws are inserted through the apertures defined through the fins and are further secured to the wall.

    Abstract: In medium to high volume printers using more than one print head, multiple documents may be printed side by side in one pass. Multiple rolls of ribbon are utilized on the ribbon mandril to accommodate the documents. The ribbon is kept taut across its print head by the feed system controller. When the outside diameters of the two rolls of ribbon vary, the system keeps one ribbon taut and the other tends to go slack at the print head. A split sleeve mandril with a differential mechanism connecting the two sleeves of the mandril assures that both ribbons are maintained taut. The preferred differential mechanism may be a planetary gear arrangement, or a thrust bearing arrangement. A unique ribbon roll holding mechanism, to hold the ribbon roll at the selected place on the mandril is also provided.

    Abstract: A camshaft for an internal combustion engine comprising a metal cam, a shaft inserted into a through hole formed in the cam and resin poured between the cam and the shaft to join them. The cam is formed with plural grooves which are formed in the inner periphery of the hole in parallel with the shaft and into which the resin is poured. The groove is formed fanwise so that a sectional shape of the groove is wider as it approaches the outer periphery of the cam. Thus, when the resin which is filled into the grooves at high temperature is cooled naturally and contracts, since the resin bites the cam, gap and failure of contact are not produced between the cam receiving rotational force and the resin when the camshaft is operated for the internal combustion engine.

The cylindrical outer end of a valve spindle extends into a cylindrical bore in the hub of a hand-wheel which is rotatable to open and close the valve. The hand-wheel is secured to a valve spindle by a removable flanged roll pin which fits into a pin hole formed by mating or registering recesses formed in the periphery of the outer end of the valve spindle and in the peripheral wall of the bore in the hub of the hand-wheel. Unscrewing of the bonnet affords access to the sealing materials and, as the bonnet moves axially, it also shifts the hand-wheel off of the outer end of the valve spindle.
