Patent number: 6969321Abstract: A flange yoke for universal joints includes a first yoke half having a first flange plate and a first bearing portion, a second yoke half having a second flange plate and a second bearing portion, a first end face projecting from the bearing portions, a second end face formed by a first connection face of the first yoke half and a second connection face of the second yoke half, at least one step-like recess on the first yoke half, and at least one step-like projection formed complementary to the recess on the second yoke half. The first yoke half and the second yoke half are detachably connectable to each other by attachment screws. For this, the first yoke half has blind holes with internal threads that extend parallel to a longitudinal axis extending from the first clamping face. For each blind hole, a through bore is arranged in the second yoke half, wherein the attachment screws are passed through the through bores and are received in the blind holes.Type: GrantFiled: August 15, 2003Date of Patent: November 29, 2005Assignee: Spicer Gelenkwellenbau GmbH & Co. Patent number: 6869247Abstract: A tube plate for tube bundles for chemical reactors and heat exchangers in general, includes a plurality of components, with shapes that are complementary to one another, in order to form a complete plate. The components may be produced separately, and are connected to one another subsequently by means of mechanical joints, in order to form the tube plate. The components which form the tube plate are joined to one another by of a plurality of pins, or other mechanical connections, which are inserted in corresponding holes provided in the respective components. This joint can be completed by means of welded connections on the mechanical connection parts.Type: GrantFiled: November 21, 2001Date of Patent: March 22, 2005Assignee: Nuovo Pignone Holding S.p.A.Inventors: Giuseppe Baccioli, Lorenzo Barbieri, Andrea Ronchieri, Lorenzo Pierucci, Silvano Bertolini

Patent number: 6857247Abstract: A construction element has at least one coupling device and the coupling device has at least two prongs. Each prong is comprised of two radially extending mating surfaces which frictionally engage the radially extending surfaces of a mating coupling device. The construction device may have a straight shaft or an angled shaft to accommodate the needs of the user and, furthermore, the prongs of a coupling device may be inserted within mateable apertures in the shaft of another construction element. Using a plurality of such construction elements, a lattice frame may be constructed.Type: GrantFiled: July 22, 2002Date of Patent: February 22, 2005Assignee: Adams Mfg. Corp.Inventor: William E. Patent number: 6810628Abstract: A jointing device for joining elongate members in a building structure includes a first body section, a second body section, and a connection portion interconnecting the first and second body sections. Each body section has at least one flange portion for fixing to one elongate member. The body sections and the connection portion are formed from a single blank of sheet material with foldlines arranged for bending thereabout to form the at least one flange portion of each of the body sections and a further foldline forming the connection portion. The connection portion is arranged so that the body sections are positionable relative to each other for selectively adjusting angle therebetween to correspond to a roof pitch of the building structure, the roof pitch being within a range of roof pitches.Type: GrantFiled: August 7, 2002Date of Patent: November 2, 2004Assignee: EMMS Investment PTY Ltd.Inventor: Phillip John Emms
