  • Patent number: 7488135
Abstract: A fastening device permitting two separate members to be fixed together with a relative interval between them including a bolt with a male screw portion formed at a front end side of a cylindrical shaft portion thereof and a spacer having a female screw portion engaging a male screw portion and screw-fastens with a screw of a first member side and rotates while receiving a rotation torque from the bolt and moves up to a position in which it comes into a contact with a second member. The root diameter of a male screw portion is smaller than the diameter of a cylindrical shaft portion while the inside diameter of the female screw portion is larger than the diameter of the cylindrical shaft portion. Consequently, the cylindrical shaft portion can be passed through the female screw portion even if the diameter of the cylindrical shaft portion is not reduced in diameter by cutting processing.

  • Patent number: 7357589
Abstract: An adjustable steering tie-rod assembly having a threaded rod, connected to a tube having an annular cavity and an intermediate tubular member. The intermediate member has internal and external threads with longitudinal grooves in sectioned lines. The threaded steering terminal, intermediate member and tube are connected in a concentric arrangement. The internal and external threads of the intermediate member facilitate adjusting the length of the assembly without axial movement of the intermediate member. The bracketing assembly is designed to ensure that the components are adequately fixed and form a solid assembly. The longitudinal grooves of the intermediate member are thrust on the external thread of the rod of the steering terminal and on the internal thread of the tubular extremity of the steering tie rod, to provide locking of the assembly and hindering the spontaneous rotating movement of the components regardless of the specific geometry of the steering tie-rod.

  • Patent number: 7086801
Abstract: A coupling arrangement for enabling fixing of a body structure member and a structure member. The coupling arrangement includes, at least two threaded tubes provided one in either end portion of a passage through a housing. The housing is fixed attachable in relation to the structure members and includes a threaded passage, wherein a threaded bolt is arranged through the passage. The threaded bolt is adapted to connect the body structure member and the structure member in a coupling position, from which coupling position the threaded bolt, via inserts, enables adjusting operation of the threaded tubes in opposite directions along the threaded bolt. • Patent number: 6837646
Abstract: A tensioning apparatus for operably applying forces to inner surfaces of a hollow body includes a bracing nut having a first receptacle portion and a bracing portion, an axially movable rod that is operably coupled to the bracing nut such that a first portion of the rod is selectively axially movable within the bracing nut, a wedge structure that is operably engaged with the rod for coaxial movement therewith, and a tensioning body that is operably and slidably engaged with the wedge structure. The tension body and the wedge structure have corresponding and facing sloped surfaces such that selectively axial motion of the rod correspondingly and coaxially moves the wedge structure, which coaxial movement of the wedge structure therefore progressively radially displaces the tensioning body to provide tensioning forces against respective inner surfaces of the hollow body.
