  • Publication number: 20040156688
Abstract: A clamping and adjustment apparatus for a cutting tool is described in which a plate-shaped cutter insert is prestressable and fastenable by means of a tension screw with its bottom surface against a seat surface such that it is supported with lateral wall sections in a positionally fixed manner on a cutter support. In order to allow precise adjustment of the cutter insert when little space is available, the clamping and adjustment apparatus has an adjustment wedge which can be actuated by means of a pressure screw in a direction (V) that extends essentially parallel to the seat surface. The adjustment wedge is accommodated in the cutter support in a form-fitted and displaceable manner. The cutter insert is supported on the adjustment wedge and can be adjusted by means of it. Moreover, a tool which is equipped with this clamping and adjustment apparatus is described as well as a tool cartridge which is used for it.

  • Patent number: 6108953
Abstract: A file folder business card organizer system wherein a business card can be adhesively attached to the a tab portion of a file folder or alternatively, the business card can be attached by inserting the corners into diagonal slits located diagonally opposite each other. Two or four slits may be used. Other embodiments include the ability to attach business cards to the back sheet portion of the file folder by using the adhesive method or the slit method, or a combination of both. The adhesive is protected with a protective cover means, generally an impervious flexible peelable film strip or laminate that can be lifted and separated from the adhesive coating so that the back of the business card can be applied to the adhesive.

  • Patent number: 5924227
Abstract: An index card for any index file (such as a lateral or flat index file or a rotary index file) is divided into upper and lower portion by a pair of score lines that extend inwardly from the lateral edges thereof and terminate at cut lines extending parallel to the side edges of the card. The cut lines extend parallel to the side edges of the card are interconnected by a cut line extending substantially parallel to the top and bottom of the card to thereby form a tab that extends from a folded edge formed when the upper portion of the card is folded about the score lines to overlie the lower portion of the card. Accordingly, indicia may be printed on the tab will be immediately available to the user of the file.

  • Patent number: 5575320
Abstract: The disclosure describes a cutting tool assembly for mounting unto a rotatable chip forming head. It comprises a knife holder having a base portion which is adapted to be secured peripherally to the head and a cantilevered plate portion having a lower section integral with the base portion and an upper section extending obliquely over the base portion. The cantilevered arrangement of the knife supporting plate enables the lateral ejection of chips produced from a solid piece of wood during operation so that chips do not contact successive cutting tool assemblies as the head rotates.

  • Patent number: 4761103
Abstract: A boring head having a diametrical bore adjacent the working end thereof for insertion and removal of two or more interchangeable cutter holders. The cutter holders are restrained against rotational movement within the bore but not axial movement, whereby rotation of a first drive member having threaded engagement with an internally threaded longitudinal bore in the cutter holder will cause radial adjustment of the cutter holder relative to the boring head. Rotation of the first device member is accomplished by rotation of a second drive member having a gear drive connection with the first drive member. A first micrometer dial on the outer end of the first drive member provides for rough orientation of the cutter holder during such radial adjustment thereof, whereas a second micrometer dial on the outer end of the second drive member provides for extremely precise measurements of such radial adjustment.
