To Control Limit Of Infeed Patents (Class 409/151)
  • Patent number: 10723009
Abstract: A powered tool is depicted which includes a transmission that permits an input shaft to rotate in a single rotational direction during operation of the powered tool, but otherwise allowing the rotation of an output shaft to change direction depending on the arrangement of the transmission. In one form a first shaft is coupled with a planetary gearing arrangement which includes planetary gears and a ring gear. A second shaft is coupled with a moveable clutch. When the clutch is moved to a first position it is coupled to bypass the ring gear which provides rotation of the second shaft in the same direction as the first shaft. When the clutch is moved to a second position to engage the ring gear the direction of rotation of the second shaft is opposite the first shaft.

  • Patent number: 7513723
Abstract: A travel limit detection/control device for a milling machine table driven by a screw rod includes a power input section driven by the screw rod, a reduction/output section coupled to and driven by the power input section, and first and second activating members for cutting power supply to the screw rod. A first travel setting member has a first end coupled to and driven by the reduction/output section and a second end that comes in contact with the first activating member when the table reaches a first travel limit. A second travel setting member has a first end coupled to and driven by the reduction/output section and a second end that comes in contact with the second activating member when the table reaches a second travel limit. Positions of the first and second travel setting members can be adjusted to change the first and second travel limits of the table.

  • Patent number: 6830416
Abstract: A system and method for operating a machine whereby a workpiece is held on a worktable of the machine with a suction force. When the work piece has a surface area insufficient to receive a full cut from a tool mounted in a tool head of the machine, the machine automatically adjusts the depth and the cutting speed of the tool to lesson the cut so the workpiece is not moved or ejected from the worktable. The depth and speed of the tool may be adjusted in a single cut pass of the tool or they may be adjusted in successive cut passes.
