Track Is Apertured To Define Both (a) A Sprocket Wheel Rack, And (b) A Series Of Latch Pin Receivers Patents (Class 410/133)
  • Patent number: 10946801
Abstract: An example adjustable truck compartment is described. The truck compartment includes a first side wall including a first guiding rail extending between a proximal end and a distal end, and a second side wall disposed opposite from the first side wall, the second side wall including a second guiding rail extending between a proximal end and a distal end of the second side wall. The truck compartment includes a rear wall coupled to the distal ends of the first and second side walls to define an enclosure between the first side wall, the second side wall, and the rear wall. The truck compartment includes a first divider panel configured to be received by the first and second guiding rails and within the enclosure in an orientation parallel to a floor of the enclosure to separate the enclosure into a first enclosure volume and a second enclosure volume.

  • Patent number: 8100615
Abstract: A load securing and moving device for a truck bed provides a slide rail affixed to each opposing inner side of the truck bed proximate an upper edge of each inner side. A sliding gate block carried on each slide rail communicates with an endless loop moving device carried inside a channel defined by each slide rail to move the sliding gate block along the length of each slide rail. A drive shaft communicates between the first slide rail and the second slide rail to transfer motion therebetween. A hand crank communicating with the endless loop moving device within the channel provides for forward and rearward movement of sliding gate blocks along the slide rails. A gate removably engages with and extends between the two sliding gate blocks providing a load securing and moving apparatus within the truck bed.

  • Patent number: 6871895
Abstract: A multi-functional cargo area assembly for a cargo bed of a vehicle includes a first and a second side wall disposed in a transversely spaced relationship, and an integrally formed guide track in the first and second side walls. The cargo area assembly also includes extendible side wall portions. The cargo area assembly further includes a movable divider panel supported with the guide track by a support rod, and extending transversely between the first and second side walls, wherein the divider panel includes a positioning mechanism for fixedly locating the divider panel.

  • Patent number: 6629807
Abstract: A truck bed cargo barrier for use with a truck bed for stabilizing cargo items longitudinally and laterally. The cargo barrier is slidable relative to the front and back of the truck bed along a track system. The cargo barrier may be locked in a user specified position along the track system to accommodate the size of the load being carried forming a divider, or may be flipped up into a temporary storage position for linear cargo exceeding the length of the bed. Tie down brackets for bungee cords are adjustably attached to the barrier frame to secure cargo laterally. A barrier panel is connected to laterally adjustable, rigid side plates, each including two spaced apart wheels that ride on a pair of longitudinal tracks on the side walls of the truck bed. The spaced apart wheels firmly secure the barrier panel in a vertical position. A manual actuator permits manual positioning of the barrier panel along the bed frame front to back.

  • Patent number: 5788439
Abstract: A railcar load divider support carriage having a load divider support beam, a pair of roller support bars fixedly attached to opposing ends of the load divider support beam, the ends of the roller support bars extending horizontally from the sidewalls of the load divider support beam, and a pair of rollers rotatably mounted at the ends of each of the roller support bars, the roller carriage providing for rolling motion of a railcar load divider door along roller tracks affixed to the interior of a railcar, the roller tracks engaging with and supporting the rollers.

  • Patent number: 5586850
Abstract: The invention consists of a panel having an area that is substantially the same dimension as the tail gate on a pickup truck cargo body. The panel is suspended from a track mounted on the body side rails, and through a wheel assembly rides the length of the truck bed. Cut out areas allow the panel to move past the wheel wells and doors attached to the panel are adapted to close off the cut out areas when not obstructed by the wheel wells. Locking bolts on each side engage slots in the side rails and slots in a floor mounted track. A single handle on each side controls the movement of the vertical and horizontal locking bolts.

  • Patent number: 4294569
Abstract: The present suspension mechanism for load dividing gates of single column type promotes reliability and safety by extreme simplicity and unity of carriage structure, together with highly effective provision against structural failure even of the inherently rugged support elements. By means of features including special bearing design, roller placement and novel keeper support, the invention provides suspension of a column gate from a single track with security against structural failure believed at least equal to that normally attained for conventional gates with dual track support. Improved manual control mechanism for the locking pins provides in highly compact and reliable form independent operation either from inside the car or from outside through an open doorway.
