Abstract: A lightweight pliable heat and noise insulator blanket is mounted to the exterior surface of the axial end wall of a temperature controlled cylinder with band clamps that grasp adjacent ones of the connector screws that hold the end panel to the cylinder. The insulator blanket comprises multiple layers of heat and noise insulation material, and the blanket defines a central opening and a slot extending from the central opening through the outer peripheral edge portion so that the blanket can be positioned about the axle of the rotary cylinder. The band clamps each include a band formed in a closed shape for positioning about adjacent ones of the connector screws of the rotary cylinder, and a mounting block positioned between the connector screws.

Abstract: A reinforcing sealing sheet metal fastener anchor for use with at least two fasteners mounted in a multi-apertured thin work panel. The anchor includes at least two fastener accepting apertures located in a planar base and a plurality of locating tabs extending outwardly from said base through a continuous double-faced pressure sensitive tape for positively locating and orientating the anchor relative to the work panel by engaging the margins of at least two different aligned workpiece apertures which are sealed by the tape.
Abstract: A fastener for securing parts to metal framing such as channel framing having side flanges with inwardly turned, hook-shaped lips defining a slot therebetween. The fastener comprises an elongate body or nut having inside and outside faces, opposite sides and opposite ends, a width less than that of the slot and a length greater than the width of the slot. The fastener also includes a clamp member carried on the outside face of the nut for engaging the curved outside faces of the channel lips, a retainer on the inside face of the nut and engageable therewith, and guide members extending from the clamp member to a position beyond the inside face of the nut and the retainer. At least one of the guide members has a portion bent to provide a spring finger engageable with the retainer for providing spring action tending to draw the clamp member in the direction back toward the outside face of the nut thereby to clamp the clamp member and nut against respective outside and inside faces of the channel lips.
