Including Wall Cleaning Means Patents (Class 414/314)
  • Patent number: 10427327
Abstract: A separation device includes a first shredding unit, a first separation unit, a second shredding unit, and a second separation unit. The first shredding unit shreds a processing target containing a first material and a second material. The first separation unit rotates a first tubular portion in a state in which the processing target shredded by the first shredding unit is accommodated therein, thereby separating the second material passing through first holes from the processing target. The second shredding unit shreds the processing target from which the second material passing through the first holes is separated by the first separation unit. The second separation unit rotates a second tubular portion in a state in which the processing target shredded by the second shredding unit is accommodated therein, thereby separating the second material passing through second holes from the processing target.

  • Patent number: 10414070
Abstract: A separation device includes a first shredding unit, a first separation unit, and a first ridge. The first shredding unit shreds a processing target containing a first material and a second material. The first separation unit rotates a first tubular portion in a state in which the processing target shredded by the first shredding unit is accommodated therein, thereby separating the second material passing through first holes from the processing target. The first ridge is provided on an inner circumferential surface of the first tubular portion, and extends in a direction in which the central axis of the first tubular portion extends.

  • Publication number: 20100221090
Abstract: A cutter dome for use with a reclaimer includes a sidewall that at least partially encircles a central axis and that extends from a lower end to an upper end, the sidewall having a lower portion that bounds a first chamber and an upper portion that bounds a second chamber, a collection opening being formed on the lower portion of the sidewall so that a reclaimer, such as an auger, can pass through the collection opening and communicate with the first chamber. A roof is disposed on the upper end of the sidewall so as to cover second chamber, the roof having a first inlet formed thereon. A first passageway is disposed within the second chamber and extends from the first inlet to a first outlet, the first outlet communicating with the first chamber.

  • Patent number: 7231868
Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for wine pomace extraction from wine processing tanks in a manner so as to minimize maceration of the wine pomace so as not to taint wine entrained within the pomace. In the present invention, wine pomace is mechanically transported out the processing tank by a conveyor means. Wine pomace is guided into the collecting path of the conveyor means by a mechanical sweeper attached to the conveyor means. In a preferred embodiment, a conveyor with sweeper wing attachments is mounted on a portable cart. The invention is positioned into the processing tank through an entry portal and secured to a tank containing pomace. The conveyor transports pomace to a receiver bin until the majority of pomace is extracted. Sweeper wings are deployed to guide remaining pomace into the collecting path of the conveyor.

  • Patent number: 5642977
Abstract: The present invention provides a silo unloader which combines the advantages of both a single auger unloader and a double auger unloader and substantially eliminates the disadvantages of both, to create a silo unloader that is very efficient and effective. Only a portion of the unloader's auger arms has dual augers working therewith while the remaining portion has a single auger. The dual auger functionality is positioned at the end of the auger where most freezing and compaction occurs, thus creating a very aggressive auger at this point. Additionally, the blower of the present silo unloader is positioned at an angle above the augers. This allows for the use of an efficient closed bottom blower in a double auger system while also allowing the placement of the two augers substantially next to each other. By placing the two augers in close proximity to one another reduces the overall width of the auger arm, thus creating a more efficient auger arm.

  • Patent number: 4360294
Abstract: This invention relates to an apparatus for extracting silage for a cylindrical silo, of the kind including a suction extractor pipe and a suction aperture means including toothed wheels for feeding silage material to the suction aperture, the wheels directly carrying the extractor device. According to the invention, these toothed wheels are freely rotatably journalled on a plurality of supporting radial arms, and a cutting wheel is positioned obliquely with respect to a plane extending above and parallel to the silage surface. The peripheral part of the wheels next adjacent a vertical wall of the silo is spaced from the silo wall by a small amount and is freely rotatably journalled at the extremity of each of the radial arms.
