    Abstract: A sliding dump trailer that provides dumping, loading, and unloading functionality using mechanical manipulations. A bed frame is attached to a towing tongue using hinges, and one or more slide rails. The slide rails selectively engage and disengage with an axle frame. The bed frame is manipulated to a loading/unloading position by locking wheels on the axle frame, disengaging the axle frame from the slide rails, and pushing the tongue in a reverse direction, causing the slide rails to slide over the axle frame which, in turn, allows the bed frame to tilt over the hinges. Continuing to push the tongue in the reverse direction further tilts the bed frame to a dumping position. The bed frame is returned to a horizontal towing position by pulling the tongue in a forward direction.

A post structure is pivotally secured to the cross beam and has at least one bale penetrating bar secured thereto and extending in a rearward direction. A first pulley is located on the upper end of the post structure, a second pulley is located on the forward end of the tongue, and a third pulley is located rearwardly of the tongue. An elongated cable has one end secured to the tongue and is thence threadable about the first, second and third cables with a second end secured to the tongue member.

    Abstract: A waste management system for handling both solid and human waste consisting of a trailer with a hitch arrangement for connection to a towing vehicle. The trailer preferably includes tandem axles that support a trailer frame whereto a trash collecting bin is pivotally mounted, with that bin to tilt so as to dump rearwardly. The pivoting trash bin is maintained in an upright attitude to receive trash through a top thereof, and will gravity dump, when released, and further includes a linkage that is operated to move a friction wheel into engagement with one of the trailer wheels for turning a take-up drum. The take-up drum, when turned, to reel in a cable that is passed through a take-up pulley is secured between the trash bin, and the trailer frame. By operating the linkage, trailer forward travel will provide for pivoting the trash bin back to an upright attitude.

The slidable connection between the trailer and the draw bar yoke is slightly negatively inclined to insure that the mechanism will move freely and to enable the trailer to be returned to the horizontal position by merely applying a forward force on the frame.     Abstract: A two-wheeled trailer has a V-shaped hay-bale-holding cradle pivoted about an axis closely above and parallel to the wheel axle. In its bale-loading position, parallel arms of the cradle extend rearwardly from the trailer and close to the ground for sliding under a large cylindrical bale when the trailer is backed-up by a tractor. The then-upright part of the cradle is tiltable forwardly and downwardly into its upright-V bale-carrying position in which it is automatically latched. The trailer is hitch-connected to a tractor by a tow-bar which is longitudinally extendably attached to the trailer chassis. A cable connects the cradle to the front end of the tow bar so that an extending pull thereon (when the wheel brakes are set) causes the cradle to tilt to its latched bale-carrying position. A latch normally holds the tow bar in its slightly extended hauling position.

The torque arm assembly is pivotable between one position in which the bottom is horizontal and a second position in which the bottom is inclined downwardly toward the rear end of the frame. In the second position, the mounting post is pivoted inwardly with respect to the trailer so that the truck is received in a retracted position between the side walls of the trailer.
