Abstract: An improved car carrier of the type including a service vehicle having front and rear wheels, a frame, axle springs, and a displaceable platform is disclosed having structure for pivoting and sliding the displaceable platform along a specified path, and a support foot assembly capable of supporting the load on the displaceable platform during a predetermined interval, when the displaceable platform is displaced from a transport position to a load position. The displaceable platform is itself of angled configuration for ramping of a first car to be carried and for aft attachment and clearance of a second car to be towed.

Abstract: A combination trailer/launcher apparatus which includes an inner adjustable and movable frame for launching and loading a boat. The apparatus ensures that the boat will be oriented in a substantially horizontal fashion so that the boat is delivered flat into the water into which it is being launched. The boat is also constrained to travel in a horizontal fashion when being transported from a location to another location. Two separate and distinct inclines control the motion of the inner movable frame relative to the main frame of the trailer.

Abstract: Means for telescoping the main frame of a boat trailer or the like having a tongue member which extends longitudinally of the main frame in a continuous section is disclosed. There is at least one sleeve member having a substantially rectangular cross section for slidably receiving the tongue member. Winch means, including a gear change mechanism, are used to move the main frame with respect to the tongue member and a boat or the like with respect to the frame.

Abstract: A trailer for transporting farm implements and the like is disclosed. The trailer bed is longitudinally shiftable from a horizontal load transporting position mounted on a wheeled chassis to a horizontal loading position on the ground adjacent the chassis by means of a slide assembly pivotable relative to the wheel axle. After loading, the trailer bed is urged up the inclined slide assembly by backing the pulling vehicle, such as a pickup truck. Shifting of the trailer bed on the slide assembly is facilitated by cooperating rollers mounted both on the trailer bed frame and on the slide assembly.

Abstract: A boat trailer in which a boat is supported on a carriage, which in turn is roller supported on a wheeled chassis and is extended from the chassis to launch or recover the boat without the trailer wheels entering the water. The trailer wheels are mounted at a fixed position on the chassis and the primary carriage supporting rollers are directly over the trailer wheels, so that the load is concentrated at the trailer wheels during loading and unloading and tipping loads on the trailer and towing vehicle are minimized. A ground engaging roller supports the rear end of the carriage when extended, the forward end of the carriage having a ramp which allows the carriage to be lowered close to and parallel to the ground when fully extended. Adjustment is provided for the bow snubbing post and for the loaded position of the carriage, which allows the trailer to accommodate boats in a wide range of sizes with the load substantially balanced over the trailer wheels.

Abstract: Boat slipway for fixed or mobile set-up, comprising a framework, which can hinge around a horizontal shaft at a right angle to the longitudinal direction of the framework, which shaft is supported by mobile or fixed means, the framework having at least one longitudinally telescopic part, which near its end projecting from the framework is provided with apparatus for connecting the framework with at least one floating body which can keep the framework floating on the water and with which the buoyancy can be adjusted to bring the end of the framework under the surface of the water when a boat is launched or taken out of the water.

Abstract: An apparatus for carrying an article on the roof top of a motor conveyance and for conveniently loading and unloading the article. The apparatus including a main frame, a sliding frame slidably connected to the main frame, a carrier fixedly connected to the sliding frame and a hinge connected to the roof top for rotating engagement with the main frame. The main frame includes a pair of parallel side runs having front and rear ends and spanned by at least one cross member a predetermined distance from the rear ends. The sliding frames also includes a pair of parallel side runs. The sliding frame includes a rear end zone comprising a release/lock mechanism to prevent sliding movement. A front bracket is provided opposite the hinge on the conveyance roof top in line with the sliding frame to prevent rotational movement of the apparatus, thereby preventing premature unloading.

Abstract: A trailer assembly for transporting snowmobiles. The trailer assembly includes a movable frame, preferably supported on wheels, a first snowmobile support portion mounted on the frame, and a second snowmobile support portion mounted on the frame in cooperative relationship with the first support portion. A mechanism is provided for adjusting the relative angular position between the first and second support portions, the adjusting mechanism being adapted to move the support portions between a first position and a second position.

Abstract: A land vehicle for use as a blender for the mixing of dry, particulate, and liquid materials comprising a chassis having an articulated frame thereon, the articulated frame including a first translatable portion and a second translatable, rotatable portion rotatably secured to the first translatable portion whereby movement of the articulated frame with respect to the chassis between a first retracted position and a second extended position causes translational movement of the first translatable portion of the articulate frame and translational and rotational movement of the second translatable, rotatable portion of the articulated frame.
