  • Patent number: 10351391
Abstract: A traction rope adjustment apparatus includes a traction rope pressing device, and a traction rope pulley apparatus. The traction rope lifting apparatus prevents the traction rope sagging, the traction rope pressing apparatus prevents the traction rope drifting, and the traction rope pulley apparatus enables a car and the counterweight to smoothly pass through the traction rope pressing apparatus, thereby implementing forced guidance of the traction rope and the reliable and smooth running of the car and counterweight. The apparatus can meet the demands of variable gradients and can implement reliable running of an inclined running container in variable gradients, such that the traction rope adapts to the different gradients, solving the challenge of the development of an inclined running container that self-adapts to gradients.

  • Patent number: 6343905
Abstract: A substrate lift mechanism includes a plurality of fingers mounted on a hoop controlled by an actuator to transfer a substrate, such as a wafer or a flat panel display, from an edge grip arm to a chuck on a processing tool, such as integrated metrology tools. The substrate lift mechanism includes a base that is configured to be mounted to existing processing tools thereby allowing the processing tools to be adapted to be operable with new edge grip arms. The plurality of fingers are positioned to permit an edge grip arm to pass between two of the fingers and are configured to gravitationally support the substrate. Advantageously, the base of the substrate lift mechanism has a small footprint to minimize the space requirements of the processing tool to which it is mounted.

  • Patent number: 6167670
Abstract: A system for building shaft casing for dumb-waiters in a building structure with prefabricated assemblies that are readily stackable over each other. One lower, middle and top assemblies constitute the minimum combination typically used in going from one floor to the next. However, the middle and upper assemblies can be repeated depending on the structure where the system is installed. The assemblies include each four elongated corner members with respective ends that receive connecting pin members that permit the structurally stable stacking up of the assemblies. A central and continuous passage is defined. The lower assembly includes two apertures with adjacent compartments within the central passage one to have access to the dumbwaiter and the other one to access the motor and control means. The top assembly has an aperture to provide access to the sprocket mechanism used with the chain that suspends the dumbwaiter within the shaft casing.
