  • Patent number: 9039398
Abstract: An internal gear pump includes a ring gear and a pinion configured to mesh with the ring gear. The ring gear and pinion delimit a pump chamber extending from a suction region to a pressure region. The internal gear pump also includes an axial disk arranged on front faces of the ring gear and the pinion and includes a lubricant feed from the suction region between the axial disk and the ring gear and pinion. The lubricant feed includes a lubricant channel which passes through the axial disk. A wedge gap is delimited between the axial disk and the ring gear and pinion. The wedge gap communicates with the suction region and, when the ring gear and the pinion are driven in rotation, a lubricating film forms between the axial disk and the ring gear and pinion.

  • Patent number: 9028232
Abstract: An internal gear pump for a slip-controlled hydraulic vehicle braking system includes a pinion, a ring gear, and a filler piece (sickle). The filler piece has an inner part extending in a curved manner in the peripheral direction and an outer part extending in a curved manner in the peripheral direction. The inner part and the outer part are interconnected in a hinged manner on the suction-sided ends. A leg spring is arranged between the inner and outer parts and is configured to separate the inner and outer parts and press against the tops of the teeth of the pinion and the tops of the teeth of the ring gear of the internal gear pump.

  • Patent number: 8992194
Abstract: A seal member is configured so that an annular rubber member is disposed in an annular storage chamber of a resin annular member. Thus, the rubber annular member is not directly in contact with a drive shaft, and the rubber annular member can be prevented from wearing or peeling without requiring a rotation stopping structure for the seal member. Furthermore, the seal member is provided with first and second communication mouths, so that a brake fluid pressure is applied to compartments obtained by dividing the annular storage chamber using the rubber annular member. Thus, the rubber annular member is pressed, and then is elastically deformed, and accordingly, the resin annular member is expanded by the elastic force. Thus, a self-sealing operation can be performed on the basis of a high pressing force.

  • Patent number: 8678798
Abstract: A rotary pump device is provided in which a drive shaft is inserted into a center hole of a cylinder that forms rotor chambers, and into outer rotors and inner rotors of rotary pumps. In the rotary pump device, seal mechanisms that include hollow-shaped resin members and annular rubber members are arranged on an opposite side to the cylinder with respect to the rotary pumps. Metal rings are arranged in hollow portions of the resin members in the seal mechanisms so that the drive shaft is inserted into an inner periphery of the metal rings with a minimum clearance.

  • Patent number: 8257070
Abstract: A seal apparatus includes at least one pair of gears; a side plate arranged adjacent to the pair of gears; and a housing sandwiching the side plate. At least one of the side plate and the housing includes a shoulder portion. The seal apparatus further includes a seal member arranged between the housing and the side plate and arranged at the shoulder portion. The seal member separates a low pressure area from a high pressure area in a radial direction of the gear. The shoulder portion is located in the low pressure area. At least a part of the seal member faces the high pressure area. The seal apparatus further includes a backup member reinforcing the seal member and facing a tip portion of the shoulder portion; and a containing portion formed between a root portion of the shoulder portion and the seal member to be capable of containing a part of the seal member at least when the seal member is elastically deformed.

  • Patent number: 8215932
Abstract: A telescoping gear pump comprises a bolt, a Bellville washer, a wear plate, a seal housing, a seal spring, a spur gear including a wear lobe, a seal ring and a case drain path, a shaft, a ring gear including a wear lobe, seal ring, and a case drain path, seal, a bolt assembly including a Bellville washer and bolt, and a pressure plate. The assembly provides pressure to a fluid to maintain a seal within a telescoping pump/motor during operation. The wear lobe reduces wear while maintaining fluid pressure.

  • Patent number: 7674100
Abstract: A pump is formed by a housing (10) having an inlet (11) for connection to a source of fluid and an outlet (12) for pumped fluid. A rotor (15) is rotatable within the housing and the inlet (11) and the outlet (12) are spaced apart around the path of the rotor (15) in the housing. The rotor (15) has surfaces (16a, 16b, 16c, 16d) that form, with the housing (10), closed chambers (18a, 18b, 18c, 18d) which travel around the housing (10) to convey fluid from the inlet (11) to the outlet (12). The housing (10) carries a seal (14) that is located between the inlet (11) and the outlet (12) in the direction of travel of the rotor (15). The seal (14) co-operates with the rotor surfaces (16a, 16b, 16c, 16d) as the surfaces (16a, 16b, 16c, 16d) pass between the outlet (12) and the inlet (11) to prevent the formation of a chamber during said passage and so prevent fluid flow from the outlet (12) to the inlet (11). Such a pump is easily and cheaply produced and is particularly useful in medical applications.

  • Patent number: 4123205
Abstract: A pump is comprised of a housing within which a rotary piston is rotatably mounted, to define therebetween an annular conveying channel between an inlet port and an outlet port. Annular sealing rings between the piston and housing seal the conveying channel at the periphery of the piston. A stopper extends into the conveying channel in the back flow path, and sealing elements are provided to seal the entire cross section of the back flow paths. Radially movable slides on the piston are resiliently urged into the conveying channel, the radial position thereof being controlled by a cam surface in the housing. The slides are urged radially outwardly by springs, and seals are provided on the piston for sealingly guiding the piston in the radial direction.
