  • Patent number: 8051596
Abstract: A hands-free firearm stabilizer device comprising a means for securing a firearm to perpendicularly to the shoulder of a hunter. The fully adjustable device can be adjusted to accommodate any gunstock and hunter, allowing the hunter to wait for game in a relaxed hands-free position or utilize game calls without sacrificing firearm stability. Additionally, hunters can position themselves in a seated position allowing fine aiming adjustments using his/her knee preventing unwanted noise and movement that could be detected by the game and providing a viable option for hunters with disabilities that may limit their ability participate in the sport of hunting.

  • Patent number: 8006425
Abstract: The present invention is a spring-biased folding firearm that stows compactly and safely. The firearm has three main components: a stock, a receiver and a grip/magazine combination. In folding, the stock folds over the receiver, sandwiching the grip/magazine between the components. When folded, the magazine over-inserts into the grip housing, allowing the stock to clear and providing additional safety when stowed by isolating the ammunition feed. A buttplate latches over the open joint to contain the unit and further secure it. When stowed, the bolt is disengaged from the ammunition feed supply, preventing accidental firing, so a loaded round can be safely carried in the chamber—allowing for immediate use of the firearm upon opening. The weapon is deployed through single-handed actuation and is spring-assisted into firing position. Currently the firearm uses readily available aftermarket parts for easier replacement if necessary and does contain hardware for mounting accessories.

  • Publication number: 20110192067
Abstract: An extendable butt stock includes a housing having a forward end, an open rearward end, an opening at the forward end and a buffer tube of a firearm received therethrough. A hinge plate pivotally attaches a butt plate to the rearward end of the housing, movable between an open position and a closed position. A spine reinforcing member having a rearward end and a forward end extends from the rearward end of the housing to proximate the forward end of the housing and cradles the buffer tube. The butt plate contacts the rearward end of the spine reinforcing member when the butt plate is in the closed position. An engagement mechanism is carried by the housing and releasably attaches the buffer tube to the spine reinforcing member.

  • Patent number: 7984580
Abstract: A semi-infinitely-adjustable butt stock assembly. A butt stock is slidably affixed to a buffer stem. An over-center lock is attached to the butt stock adjacent to the buffer stem. The user can disengage the over-center lock from the buffer stem by rotating a lever thereby permitting the longitudinal position of the butt stock to be adjusted relative to the buffer plate. To secure the butt stock at the desired position, the user rotates the lever in the opposite direction causing the over-center lock to re-engage the buffer stem. A cheek rest overlaying the butt stock and biased forward with respect thereto is adjustable vertically with respect to the butt stock by manually moving the cheek rest aft, adjusting it vertically, and releasing the cheek rest.

The new parts are the slide member and lever that has a cam member mounted on its upper end and an extension spring attached to its bottom end. A locking pin is removed from the stationary slide member and two retainer pins are inserted from the sides into the new slide member to facilitate spring action. This structure functions in the same manner as the recoil reduction structure illustrated in U.S. Pat. No. 5,722,195. A replacement sleeve has a rib member extending downwardly from its bottom surface. Replacement sleeve and extension spring are assembled in a tubular member to form a second recoil reduction assembly. This recoil reduction structure functions in the same manner as the structure illustrated in U.S. Pat. No. 6,732,466.

Abstract: A weapon ball-and-socket-based weapon mounting system for removably attaching a to the body of a user. A ball stock adapted to be attached to a weapon at one end and configured with a substantially ball-shaped ball element on the other end replaced the conventional weapon butt stock. The ball stock mates with a body-supported socket adapted to receive the ball element by clicking in to the socket. The user is able to articulate the weapon into a rest position as well as rotating it through a full range of elevation and sweeping orientations.

Abstract: A pivotable shoulder stock for use in combination with a handgun includes a mirror and allows the user to aim and fire an equipped laser handgun around the corner of a building or other obstacle. The user is able to fire with relative accuracy from behind a building or other obstacle using the mirror attached to the shoulder stock. The mirror can be adjustably positioned for viewing in order to fire the handgun at about a ninety degree (90°) angle in either a clockwise or counterclockwise direction. The mirror can be revolved to a downward posture when firing the handgun in a linear direction similar to a rifle or for storage purposes. The pivotable shoulder stock is relatively simple to operate and can be quickly adjusted by latching the second section against the first section for use as a hand weapon rather than being shoulder fired.

Abstract: The invention concerns an adjustable recoil pad for a small arm, in particular, a rifle, with a base plate that can be adjustably affixed to a stock part of the small arm, a bottom plate which is adjustably mounted on the base plate, and at least one end part that can be affixed to the bottom plate. A simplified adjustment with a large number of adjustment possibilities is made possible in that the bottom plate is arranged so it can swivel about a transverse axis on a connecting piece, which is displaceably guided via guide elements on the base plate, and can be affixed in a desired position by at least one retaining screw.

Abstract: A firearm butt stock with an adjustable cheek piece comprises an elongate stock base having a top, a bottom, a right side, a left side, a proximal end and a distal end. The stock base has a transverse pivot shaft near the stock base top and a transverse catch shaft spaced from the pivot shaft lengthwise of the stock base near the stock base top. A cheek piece has a proximal end and a distal end and a left and a right sidewall. The cheek piece defines a plurality of lengthwise stacked receptacles opening toward a proximal end of the cheek piece and an elongate hole having a distal and a proximal end spaced lengthwise and distal of the stacked receptacles. The stacked receptacles, the catch shaft, the elongate hole and the pivot shaft are configured so that with the pivot shaft received in the elongate hole and the pivot shaft at the distal end of the elongate hole, the catch shaft is received in one of the stacked receptacles and the cheek piece is prevented from pivoting about the pivot shaft.
