  • Patent number: 11970823
Abstract: A process for forming a pre-form for a moulded pulp fibre product involves providing a porous mould that has one or more pre-form mould portions that each have an outer surface corresponding to a surface of the pre-form. Pulp fibre slurry is discharged from an outlet; each pre-form mould portion is coated with discharged pulp fibre slurry by moving the porous mould relative to the outlet. Thus, a slurry deposit for the pre-form is formed on the outer surfaces of the pre-form mould portions. Fluid from the slurry deposit is extracted through the porous mould to form the pre-form.

Abstract: It is an object to prevent dies from interfering with each other when the dies are closed and effectively prevent overshoot of cavity temperature while efficiently performing heating of the dies. In an injection molding machine for two-material molding including two sets of a first injecting unit and a second injecting unit that respectively plasticize different resin materials and inject and fill the resin materials, prior to performing injection molding on the first injecting unit side on a secondary side, after injection molding on the second injecting unit side on a primary side, heating of the dies is started before 180-degree rotation of a rotary die plate is completed. After the start of heating, until the 180-degree rotation of the rotary die plate is completed, i.e., die closing is performed, die temperatures are maintained within a temperature range set higher than die temperatures during the heating start and lower than die temperatures during injection.

  • Patent number: 8066507
Abstract: A rotary plate is rotatably supported with respect to a stationary base using an R-guide, and the weight of the rotary plate and a mold mounted to the rotary plate is also supported by the R-guide in addition to a bearing. Therefore, a moment and a vertical downward load acting on the bearing of the rotary plate can be reduced. A block of the R-guide is fixed with respect to the rotary plate side through a disc spring. Therefore, while the rotary plate is rotating, the elastic force of the disc spring causes the rotary plate to separate from the stationary base by a space, which reduces the rotational resistance of the rotary plate. During mold clamping, respective pressure-receiving surfaces of the rotary plate and the stationary base contact each other against the elastic force of the disc spring, which enables reliable transfer of a mold clamping load to the stationary base.

Abstract: A plurality of semi-molded products (H, J, K) are formed in a slide mold (20) and slide cores (30, 30′) simultaneously in the step of primary molding. Then, the slide cores (30, 30′) are opened in the condition that the semi-molded products (H, J, K) remain in the slide mold (20) and the slide cores (30, 30′) respectively. Then, the slide mold (20) and the slide cores (30, 30′) are slid so that the semi-molded products (H, J, K) are collected into a predetermined position. Then, a molten resin is injected into joint portions of the semi-molded products (H, J, K) collected and clamped, so that the plurality of semi-molded products (H, J, K) are integrated with one another in the slide mold (20) and the slide cores (30, 30′) in the step of secondary molding to thereby obtain a molded product (S).

  • Patent number: 6159520
Abstract: A method and a system for producing articles of fat-containing, chocolate mass in a continuous production-plant having a conveyor for mould elements with mould cavities. The production-plant comprises steps of initially filling mould cavities with liquid mass, cooling of the articles, and releasing the articles from the mould cavities. The number of mould elements per unit time leaving the cooling step is regulated to deviate from the number of mould elements per unit time entering the cooling step. The resulting advantage is that it is possible to regulate the residence time for a certain mould element in a cooling step without changing the residence time in the steps prior to the cooling step. A manufacturer of chocolate articles is thereby provided an easy way of adapting the cooling time to the specific article being produced without influencing other steps of production.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a mass production device for ice carvings mainly for the automatic production of ice carvings. The invention has a conveyor belt, molding dies, a cooling water tank, a freezing mixture tank, a boring device, an injection device, a temperature rising device and a stripping device. Filtered and cool water is poured into the dies, and the dies delivered into a freezing mixture tank through the conveyor belt for freezing the surface of water in the dies first. A boring hole is used for injection of coloring liquid and decorative objects to be embedded in the frozen carvings. When the dies exit from the freezing mixture tank, they enter a temperature rising device to slightly raise their temperature to facilitate removal of the dies by means of hydraulic cylinder of the stripping device. Ice carvings are thus accomplished through automatic production.
