Abstract: The present invention is directed to a process for instructing an operator during maintenance and/or repair work on a tablet press. The process is performed by a computer. The process includes selecting a tablet press function, whereby selection is read by the computer. A list of function sequences is output to an output device in accordance with the step of selecting. Each function sequence corresponds to repair/maintenance information pertaining to the selected tablet press function. A function sequence is selected from the list of function sequences. Finally, the selected sequence is output as a video sequence and/or an audio sequence.

  • Patent number: 6337042
Abstract: An object is to reduce mutual interference between a plurality of sets of molds coupled to a common frame stand to improve the processing accuracy. A plurality of sets (e.g. two sets) of molds are driven by servo motors (6a, 6b). The servo motors (6a, 6b) are individually controlled by servo amplifiers (8a, 8b), respectively. A control portion in the servo amplifier (8a) calculates a current (I) so that the measured value (X) of the rotating position of the servo motor (6a) follows a directing value (X0) sent from a CPU through a pulse generator (9). A torque detecting/limiting portion (25) limits the calculated current (I) so that a limit value of the torque sent from the CPU through a DA converter (12) is not exceeded and sends it to the servo motor (6a) through a current amplifier (26). When the torque of the servo motor (6a) reaches the limit value after the molds come in contact, the directing value (X0) is rapidly advanced in the mold-losing direction.

  • Patent number: 5686118
Abstract: An apparatus has an apparatus body and a support shaft rotatably supported on the apparatus body. An intermediate plate is provided at an intermediate height of the apparatus body with a plurality of dies arranged in a substantially parallel plane where corresponding forming chambers are defined. Relative to those areas corresponding to the forming chambers, upper punches are provided above the intermediate plate in a way to be movable in an up/down direction and lower punches are provided below the intermediate plate in a way to be movable in the up/down direction. The upper punch is held in a raised position in a given timing corresponding to the rotation of the main shaft at which time powder is fed into the forming chamber. When the upper punch is released from being held in a raised position, the upper punch is downwardly driven to allow it to enter into the forming chamber. The lower punch is held in that lowered position where the lower end opening is closed.
