Abstract: The present invention relates to the delivery of antihistamines through an inhalation route. Specifically, it relates to aerosols containing antihistamines that are used in inhalation therapy. In a method aspect of the present invention, an antihistamine is delivered to a patient through an inhalation route. The method comprises: a) heating a composition, wherein the composition comprises an antihistamine, to form a vapor; and, b) allowing the vapor to cool, thereby forming a condensation aerosol comprising particles with less than 5% antihistamine drug degradation products. In a kit aspect of the present invention, a kit for delivering an antihistamine through an inhalation route is provided which comprises: a) a thin coating of an antihistamine drug composition and b) a device for dispensing said thin coating as a condensation aerosol.

Abstract: A module (1) used for the manufacture of tires, comprising an inflatable flexible bladder (10) provided with two beads (11) which is used for the assembling and vulcanization of the tire on the bladder, each bead being anchored on a plate (30, 31). The module (1) has at least one rigid wall mounted on a plate (30, 31) which is adjacent said flexible bladder (10) when the latter is inflated and can be retracted so as to be able to separate the tire from said module (1) after vulcanization and can be spread out radially so as to constitute a reference surface for the assembling of the tire.
Abstract: A mold gate for an inner tube mold is provided with a plurality of apertures for selectively receiving valve stems therein for bonding to the inner tube. A plug is inserted into each of the nonselected apertures to enable the single gate to be used to cure inner tubes having different valve positions to eliminate changing the gate each time a different valve location is required for a given mold. When the valve stem receiving openings are in close proximity to each other an elongated plug is placed in an elongated gate aperture to selectively seal one of the two valve stem openings while enabling the other opening to remain unblocked for receiving a valve stem during the molding operation.
Abstract: A tube assembly for use in a process of vulcanizing a pre-cured tread onto a tire casing is disclosed. The tube assembly includes an elastomeric tubular wall having an inner periphery with a protective non-woven fabric layer covering a major portion thereof. The fabric layer includes a plurality of polyester cords extending in parallel relation in a single ply elastomeric matrix. Longitudinal edges of the fabric are covered by thin strips of elastomer bonded to the fabric layer and the tube wall. Superimposed fabric reinforcing swatches are bonded to the fabric layer around the valve stem. The tube assembly is resistant to being damaged prematurely by the rim which supports the tire casing in the tread vulcanization process.
Abstract: A method of manufacturing tire inner tubes in which the tube is moulded in two annular parts from worked uncured rubber, and the parts are joined but before curing of the rubber is completed the tube is stretched to a larger internal diameter and inflated into a mould with the larger internal diameter.
