Abstract: Multi-piece, solid golf balls having a cover material made from a polyurea or polyurea/urethane hybrid composition are provided. The cover materials are prepared by first forming a polyurea prepolymer which undergoes two curing steps. In the first step, the prepolymer is chemically-cured by reacting it with hydroxyl curing agents, amine curing agents, or mixtures thereof. In the second step, the composition is moisture-cured. The cured material may be used to make a golf ball cover having improved durability, cut/tear resistance, and impact strength.

Abstract: A laminate film including a first core polylactic acid layer, a coating receiving-layer of polylactic acid, and coated on one side of the coating receiving-layer with PVOH, EVOH, a blend of crosslinked EVOH/PVOH, vinyl alcohol-vinylamine (PVAm) copolymer, anionic carboxylated styrene-butadiene copolymer (SBR) emulsion, or blends thereof. This coating may be applied after the machine-direction orientation step and dried and oriented in a transverse direction orientation oven if in-line coating is desired; or applied to the film in an off-line coating method and dried in an air flotation oven. The dried coating layer can be metallized. This laminate film exhibits excellent gas and moisture barrier properties, appearance, and metal adhesion. It may also optionally include a heat sealable or winding improving layer on the side opposite the coating receiving-layer of the core layer.

Abstract: A cut and abrasion resistant webbing includes a main body (1) and a cut and abrasion resistant protection (3) attached over the main body. The main body is made from a high tenacity fiber, and the protection is made from a plastisol mixture forming a paste. A method of manufacturing the webbing includes steps of: applying the main body by weaving or not weaving fiber; and coating a cut and abrasion resistant paste onto the main body, then curing and drying, finally forming a cut and abrasion resistant protection on the surface of the webbing. The anti cut and anti abrasion webbing for lifting, sling, lashing, tie down and lanyard becomes very tough to abrasion and cut. And the life cycle thereof can be improved over 2 to 10 times than the actual manufactured ones.
