Patent number: 5795637Abstract: A rectangular foldable blank along the length of which parallel lines of adhesive tape are applied near each edge and covered with removable protective film, and which parallel slit score lines run near each long edge just inside the tape line, and a regular score line bisecting the length of the blank, and perforations dissecting the width of the blank at select intervals. Also, to the seam sealer cover formed from the blank producing a tent like structure with continuous parallel adhesive tab portions running the length of the structure at both edges. And, to the assembly formed when one or more of the aforementioned seam sealer covers are installed by adhering the adhesive tab portions to a floor covering surface in such a method as to cover and protect the entire length of a floor covering seam and line of seam sealer from debris contamination and foot traffic within the hollow formed by the assembly and floor covering surface.Type: GrantFiled: April 17, 1997Date of Patent: August 18, 1998Assignee: Wallace Andrew WilsonInventors: Wallace Andrew Wilson, Charles E. Patent number: 5587222Abstract: A label assembly includes a label with a removable multi-ply insert attached thereto by at least one fastening strip. The label has an adhesive applied to one of its sides for attaching the label assembly to an article. In two embodiments, the label assembly has a pair of perforated fastening strips for removably coupling the multi-ply insert to the label, while the label remains attached to the article. In another embodiment, one edge of the top ply of the insert is secured to the label by a single fastening strip, while the other edge of the top ply of the insert extends outwardly from the remaining plies of the insert and is secured directly to the label. In yet another embodiment, a single large fastening strip overlies substantially the entire top ply of the insert, and extends outwardly from three of the peripheral edges of the insert to engage the label for peelably securing the insert to the label by a pressure-sensitive adhesive.Type: GrantFiled: November 14, 1994Date of Patent: December 24, 1996Assignee: Wallace Computer Services, Inc.Inventor: Donald J. Patent number: 5585154Abstract: A flexible, non-water absorbing insulation system is described for insulating articles exposed to relatively cold temperatures. This insulation system is especially adapted for insulating delivery or transfer hoses used with cryogenic liquid transfer operations. The insulating material is a thermoplastic sheet-like layer having gas-filled cells to which is attached or bonded to a metallized thermoplastic film. In one embodiment, the metallized thermoplastic material is bonded to the smooth side of the thermoplastic sheet-like material. In another embodiment, metallized thermoplastic material is bonded to both sides of the cell-containing thermoplastic material. The sheet-like insulating material is wrapped at least twice around the hose or article to be insulated. Slits may be cut in the insulating material to make the hose self draining whereby any condensed water can gravity drain once the temperature is above the freezing point of water.Type: GrantFiled: June 2, 1995Date of Patent: December 17, 1996Assignee: Liquid Carbonic CorporationInventor: George D.
