Abstract: A strip of absorbent paper product includes a first edge and a second edge defining a strip width. The strip has a centerline extending in a longitudinal direction and equidistant between the first edge and the second edge, and a central region extending in the longitudinal direction and having a central width. The central region extends laterally outwardly on each side of the centerline. The strip can have a first edge region and a second edge region that extend outward from the central region. A first design element is disposed in the central region and includes a visual center point. The strip can also have at least two second design elements. At least one of second design elements can be disposed in the central region, and another second design element can be disposed in the first edge region or the second edge region.

Abstract: A repositionable medium includes a base, a paper, and a first repositionable adhesive. The base has a top surface, a bottom surface, a first end edge, and a second end edge. The paper is fixedly coupled to the top surface of the base proximate to the first end edge. The paper has an inner edge and an outer edge. The outer edge is closer to the first end edge than the inner edge is to the first end edge. The inner edge is spaced a first distance from the first end edge of the base. The first repositionable adhesive is fixed to the bottom surface of the base and is not present in a first low adhesion area at a line across a width of the base and spaced a second distance from the second end edge of the base. The second distance equals the length of the first distance.

Abstract: A pattern is transferred to a surface of an object via dip transfer printing. Dip transfer printing can leave a void in the pattern on the surface of the object. An ink based label is used to repair (i.e., cover or fill) the void. The ink based label includes an ink layer and an adhesive layer. The ink layer includes a printing of each color of a four-color printing process forming an image representative of a major element of the pattern. The adhesive layer attaches the ink layer to the void in the pattern on the surface of the object. Optionally, the ink based label includes a backing layer between the ink layer and the adhesive layer.

Abstract: A sheet material for use as a dissolvable decal comprises a dissolvable paper or polymer layer whose dissolvability in water is enhanced using a temporary water barrier. In one embodiment, the sheet material comprises a dissolvable paper stock layer coated with the temporary water barrier layer in the form of an acrylate polymer. To create the decal, one or more ink layers are applied, either on top of the temporary water barrier, or between the temporary water barrier and a top face of the dissolvable paper stock. The sheet material also comprises a removable release liner comprising a sheet with a silicone release coating on one side. In use, the paper/plastic liner is removed and the resulting decal is then positioned on a vehicle. The decal remains on the vehicle, but it is ultimately removable under high pressure water conditions.
