Abstract: A new and novel turkey mount and a process for manufacturing said turkey mount.

Abstract: A display apparatus for an animal skull includes a base plate sized to receive the skull of an animal and a wall display plate. The wall display plate is attached to the base plate at a mounting angle of between 120° and 150°. The wall display plate is adapted to be mounted to and to lie flat against a vertical wall with the base plate sloping downwardly with a nose portion being at a lowest location and a neck portion being at a highest location on the base plate. The wall display plate displays a silhouetted scene including an animal of a same type as the animal skull to be mounted on said mounting display.

Abstract: A trophy mount and a skull clamp are disclosed. The trophy mount can comprise a skull coupling feature configured to interface with and support a skull, and a positioning device configured to provide rotation of the skull coupling feature in at least two rotational degrees of freedom to facilitate positioning of the skull. The skull clamp can comprise a first jaw configured to extend into a foramen magnum of an occipital bone of a skull toward a nose end of the skull, and a second jaw operable with the first jaw to clamp the occipital bone and secure a bottom of the skull.

Abstract: A display for tail feathers of a game bird is provided which includes a wall plate lying in a first plane and a design plate attached to the wall plate. The design plate is spaced apart from the wall plate and is in a second plane parallel to said wall plate. A feather cover plate is attached to the design plate. The feather cover plate is spaced apart from both said wall plate and said design plate and is in a third plane parallel to said wall plate. The wall plate and the feather cover plate form a cavity to receive and hold tail feathers of a game bird.

Abstract: An antler mounting kit is used to display antlers obtained from an animal. The antler mounting kit comprises a body that is formed from a polymer and that replicates natural contours of at least a portion of a head of the animal. A mounting base is fixed relative to the body and is positioned to support the antlers in an anatomically correct position that replicates antler position on the head of the animal. The body defines a cutout extending along the mounting base for receiving a base of the antlers. A cover replicates natural contours of a portion of the head of the animal and abuts the body and covers the cutout for concealing the base of the antlers.

Abstract: A wall hanging system is provided for mounting of heavy, high cantilever load objects to an upright wall, such as a big game trophy comprising a backer board with a central opening. The system includes a bracket secured to the rear face of backer board and having a forwardly extending housing. The housing includes an arcuate, inclined, hanging wall section defining a mounting recess. The system also has a hanger including an inclined, arcuate, upper, support surface, which is received within the recess such that the hanging and support surfaces are disposed in mating engagement throughout a fore-and-aft depth of at least about one-quarter inch, and through an arc of at least about 120°.

Abstract: A memorial product is presently disclosed that includes a glass structure having a first helix of cremation remains and a second helix of a second material, wherein the helix of the cremation remains and the helix of the second material are intertwined to form a double helix in the glass structure. In some embodiments, the second material is additional cremation remains or a colored material selected to correspond to the deceased represented by the cremation remains. Also disclosed is a method of manufacturing a memorial product including forming a first portion of molten glass into a substantially cylindrical shape having an exterior surface, applying cremation remains on a first portion of the exterior surface, applying a second material on a second portion of the exterior surface, and gathering a second portion of molten glass over the first portion of molten glass to encase the cremation remains and the second material.

Abstract: A couplable ornament may be a five-pointed star, a rectangle or other form, and be configured for coupling to other ornaments using a ball-and-socket construction, magnets, tabs and slots or other coupling means. The ornament may have words or designs with significance to an individual or organization, and a plurality of ornaments may be awarded over time with different markings or words where the plurality of ornaments couple with one another. A system of couplable ornaments may be an employee achievement recognition system in which the ornaments are awarded by an organization to employees over time to mark particular individual or organizational milestones, where the ornaments may be coupled together by recipients to form shapes, structures or other designs constructed from the individual ornaments. The ornament may have two halves forming an ornamental member with the ability to receive decorative elements such as a substrate and/or a snap-in ring.

Abstract: An award includes a representation of at least a portion of a world globe and three human figures in yoga postures imposed on its surface. The three human figures include a figure in a sitting position with legs stretched out and arms raised; a figure supported on its shoulders, curled with its chin near its chest and its legs stretched back over its head, and a figure in a kneeling position with its head bent back. The three dimensional sculpture assembly of a globe and human figures is an iconic and enduring symbol of the “Manitowoc Spirit of Innovation,” It utilizes symbols “???” or “??{dot over (?)}”=Manito in yoga postures representing the Native American origin of the word “Manitowoc” to demonstrate Manitowoc's belief in the value creation business model, such as “Inside Out”, “Co-Creation” and “Outside In”, along with a team spirit to provide a superior customer experience.

Abstract: Methods are disclosed for providing replicas of a sporting trophy and for scoring the sporting trophy. The first method includes providing a sporting trophy to be scanned; scanning the sporting trophy to provide three-dimensional image data of the sporting trophy; and providing the three-dimensional image data of the sporting trophy to a replica generating system to provide a replica of the sporting trophy. The second method includes providing three-dimensional digital data of a sporting trophy having a volume and a surface area; providing at least one sporting-relevant measurement based on the three-dimensional data of the sporting trophy; and providing a score of the sporting trophy based on the at least one sporting-relevant measurement.

Abstract: An antler mounting kit is used to display antlers obtained from an animal. The antler mounting kit comprises a body that is formed from a polymer and that replicates natural contours of at least a portion of a head of the animal. Abstract: A trophy mount for displaying the skull and horn or antler of game animals comprising; a base with one or more holes in the base for attaching the base to a vertical surface, a wing that attaches to the base by means of an upper and lower hinge socket on the base that are able to receive an upper and lower wing joint from the wing with the sockets and joints sized to allow the wing to pivot with respect to the base which is secured to the vertical surface, a bracket that has one or more adjustment holes and a pivot hole, means for securing the bracket to the wing such that the bracket can be positioned at various angles with respect to the base, a center prong on the bracket that is sized to fit within a Foramen magnum of a vertebrate game animal, and a right and left side arm that are spaced, sized and positioned below and slightly in front of the center prong such that the right and left side arms fit into the condyloid fossa of a game animal's skull.

Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for fixing a turkey tail fan are provided. The apparatuses can include a top and bottom sheet, an angled member, and a plurality of fasteners for fixing a turkey tail fan in a natural spread configuration. A kit for fixing and displaying a turkey tail fan is further provided.

Abstract: A display device for spreading a turkey's tail feathers in a fan-like display is provided. The device consists of an elongated shank having two opposing ends, and two quill clips located one at each of the two opposing ends of said shank having grooves that snap onto the quills near the base of two or more of the turkey's outer tail feathers located to either opposite side of the hub. When installed, the device is invisible to view. An adjustable joint may be provided to enable adjusting a version of the shank having two arms to a certain angle to optimize the turkey fan display. A mounting mechanism may further be provided for mounting an object to the turkey fan display such as the beard, or a pole for use of the fan as a decoy in the field.

Abstract: The decorative figurine is formed from at least two golf balls and at least one golf tee. A blind bore is formed in a first golf ball, and a diametrically extending countersunk bore is formed through a second golf ball. A golf tee is then inserted into the golf balls with the shaft extending through the countersunk bore and into the blind bore, the head of the tee being seated in the countersunk portion of the throughbore. Adhesive secures the tee in the bores, forming the body of the figurine. The body is preferably mounted on a base, and the body is decorated with any desired ornamentation and/or props.

Abstract: The present invention is an award that serves as a trophy and as a golf club head cover. The cover of the award is positioned on a stand that is supported by a base or positioned on a golf club head as a golf club head cover.

Abstract: A habitat mount for a wall mounted taxidermy mannequin includes a habitat piece having a three dimensional first side with the appearance of one or more natural elements and an opposing generally planar second side. A tab extends outwardly from and generally parallel to a plane defined by the second side of the habitat piece. The tab is sized and shaped to mount directly to a rear side of the wall mounted taxidermy mannequin.

The tab is sized and shaped to mount directly to a rear side of the wall mounted taxidermy mannequin.

Abstract: A hanger and method for hanging is disclosed, the hanger for the purposes of hanging objects on substantially vertical surfaces such as walls, beams and posts. The hanger comprises a single-piece bracket of substantially flat suitable material. One portion of the bracket is attachable to the object to be hung using fasteners or other means and supports the weight of the object on support hardware using a concave support edge. The support edge is a tapered concave edge which may have a slotted center designed to fit typically used vertical support hardware (such as nails, screws of pegs) extending from a substantially vertical support surface such as a wall, beam or post. Another portion of the bracket extends away from the support edge and beyond the outer edge of the object to be hanged and includes a fastener opening for securing the alignment of the object relative to the vertical support using typical fasteners (such as nails or screws).

Abstract: A convertible taxidermy mounting system includes a stand, to which a specimen is mounted, that attaches to a base in different configurations. In one configuration, the base is oriented to be attached to a wall or similar vertical surface while in a second configuration the base is oriented to be supported on a horizontal surface. However, in both configurations, the specimen is presented in a natural presentation position.

Abstract: An apparatus and method therefore of utilizing a connector base of the present invention to preconstruct a trophy assembly prior to the attachment of the figure, utilizing traditional threaded rod construction, with the connector base further adapted to receive one or more additional components configured with a resilient or rigid attachment, such as a figure, to complete the trophy for use. More particularly, the figure may have a traditional threaded stud molded therein, or be adapted to snap or twist in place establishing a permanent connection, or reversibly twist or snap in place. In addition, the attachment comprises a resilient or rigid connecting member attached to a trophy component adapted to insert into a connector member opening configured in a second trophy component. Further, any component of a trophy assembly could be adapted with the snap or twist attachment of the present invention and the assembly could quickly proceed without the need for the internal threaded rod.

The bracket includes co-planar attachment flanges with screw holes for attachment to a rear surface of the mounting board, a second flange spaced from the plane and that defines a shaped aperture for engaging a wall hook to hold the mounting board on a building wall for display, and a third flange extending downward from the second flange to form a recess to engage a top edge of the plate on the taxidermy stand. A related method is also illustrated, the method including temporarily supporting the work piece on the taxidermy stand until additional fasteners can be placed.

Abstract: A self standing achievement medal that can be worn about the neck of the user in a conventional manner, or alternatively, when not being worn, can be conveniently and attractively displayed on a flat surface, such as found on a desk or bookshelf. The achievement medal includes a plate-like display surface upon which various decorations and indicia can be conveniently imprinted or engraved and a pivotally mounted, generally U-shaped support that can be conveniently moved from a stowed configuration to an extended configuration wherein the medal can be supported on a flat surface in a manner such that the indicia provided on the display surface of the medal is readily visible.

Abstract: Modular illuminated trophies comprise a base and a pedestal mounting an upwardly extending tubular column with a figurine or statuette. The columns are secured together by interior rods, and the internal light bars are conformed to clear the rods. Multiple LED's on the light bars illuminate the column interiorly. A control circuit located within the base is operated by a user accessible button. Each decorative column is made from translucent, tinted plastic to distributes or diffuses light. The LED's may be the same color or multi-colored, and they create several different light patterns by flashing, alternating in different patterns, or by fading in and out.

Abstract: A heavy simulated sports action object such as a ball is formed from a hollow shell having cut stone applied at spaced locations on its outer surface with the cut stone having an exposed pattern such as a logo on its outer surface to create a first partial layer. The remainder of the first partial layer is completed by a filler material which may also have at least one decal and simulated seams applied to its outer surface. The hollow shell is filled with a heavy material. A transparent overcoat encapsulates the first layer and is polished to give the ball its finished appearance.

Abstract: A memorial for deceased humans or animals in which the cremated residue or ash is blended or mixed with particulate glass, the mixture being heated to form a liquid pool of glass with the cremation residue or ash dispersed, infused and/or absorbed therein, the molten glass and ash being removed from the heat source after a suitable time period and transferred to a mold in the shape of the memorial, the mold allowed to cool until the memorial sets, the memorial then removed from the mold and reheated in an annealing oven at a suitable temperature for a suitable time so as to eliminate possible cracking and scoring, the memorial once removed from the annealing oven can be further cut, polished, faceted, engraved or the like. The initial mixture of particulate glass and cremation residue and ash can be further combined with a coloring agent if so desired before heating or before transfer to the memorial mold.

Abstract: A printed paper based decorative element with photo-realistic detail to be affixed to an award such as a trophy riser or column, a medal or medallion, or a plaque. In a preferred embodiment of the present invention the design is selected and printed on a paper substrate in a conventional manner using offset printing or digital printing. The paper substrate has a pre-applied pressure sensitive adhesive composition on the non-printed side. The printed paper is then clear gloss coated and cured. The parent printed sheet is then die cut to isolate the desired decorative element, and the decorative element is applied to the award.

Abstract: An award trophy assembly and method are provided that include an annular base and a flexible strip or placard which may be engraved after an award is received by a recipient and added to the base in a seamless member. Connector members are provided to secure the flexible strip around the annular base.

Abstract: A trophy display medium displays multiple simplistic trophies such as pins; medals, badges, and the like, each of each essentially comprise an anterior trophy surface, a posterior trophy surface, and a maximal frontal trophy area. The trophy display medium comprises an anterior medium surface, a posterior medium surface, a frontal medium outline, and a medium thickness. The anterior medium surface comprises a surface area bound by the frontal medium outline and a plurality of trophy-receiving cavities. The cavities each comprise a maximal frontal cavity area, a maximal cavity depth, and a trophy-retaining surface. The maximal cavity depth is lesser in magnitude than the medium thickness. The trophy-retaining surfaces function to removably receive the posterior trophy surfaces such that the anterior trophy surfaces are anteriorly viewable adjacent the cavities.

Abstract: An award apparatus includes a second member coupled to a first member, wherein the second member is another award that is configured to be worn separately. A portion of the second member may include a display depicting at least the first member. A method for making an award includes providing a first member and connecting a second member to the first member, wherein the second member is another award that is configured to be worn separately. The method may also include displaying on the second member a depiction of at least a portion the first member.

Abstract: An award construction that includes a decorative member, a supporting base for supporting the decorative member and an alternate means for interconnecting the decorative member with the supporting base. More particularly, in one form of the invention, the base portion of the decorative member includes a peripheral portion having a locking rim than can be lockably interconnected with a yieldably deformable locking assembly that is affixed to and extends upwardly from the upper surface of the supporting base. In another form of the invention, the identical base portion of the decorative member can be interconnected with the support base by means of a threaded rod which is threadably received within a threaded bore formed in the base portion of the decorative member.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an article for association with a motor vehicle. The article may include a base, and a plurality of inserts received in the base. Each insert has at least two characteristics. The at least two characteristics of each insert causes the plurality of inserts to form a substantially unique article profile.

Abstract: The invention involves a taxidermy form comprising opposing face pieces having eye openings and nostrils which overlay an inner core having eye sockets, eyeballs, nasal cavities, and a nostril septum to form realistic eye settings and noses. The core is molded as a single unit with eye sockets, a nasal cavity, and a septum and the desired style eyeballs are adhered to the eye sockets and the nasal cavity are detailed and painted to replicate those of a living animal of the type to be mounted. Once the core is prepared, the outer face pieces are attached in an overlying relationship to expose a portion of the eyeballs through the eye openings and the underlying nostril cavities and septum through the nostrils, thereby creating a more realistic taxidermy mount which is easy to prepare. In an alternative embodiment, the two face pieces can be molded as a single unit, which can be easily slipped over the nose of the core and affixed in place in the same manner as the separate pieces.

Abstract: A wall pedestal for displaying and rotating an animal head and other wildlife objects next to a wall. The wall pedestal includes a wall mounting plate adapted for securing the pedestal to the wall at various heights. The wall mounting plate includes an outwardly extending horizontal support arm. A far end of the horizontal support arm includes a threaded bore for receiving a threaded lower end of a vertical pivot rod. An upper end of the vertical pivot rod is slidably received in a lower portion of a vertical sleeve. A top portion of the vertical sleeve is attached to a portion of a display mounting plate. The display mounting plate is adapted for attachment to the wildlife object suspended the object thereon.

Abstract: An award construction that includes a decorative member, a supporting base for supporting the decorative member and an alternate means for interconnecting the decorative member with the supporting base. More particularly, in one form of the invention, the base portion of the decorative member includes a peripheral portion having a locking rim that can be lockably interconnected with a yieldably deformable locking assembly that is affixed to and extends upwardly from the upper surface of the supporting base. In another form of the invention, the identical base portion of the decorative member can be interconnected with the support base by means of a threaded rod which is threadably received within a threaded bore formed in the base portion of the decorative member.

Abstract: A combination of an animal taxidermy head mannequin and mouth assembly includes a mouth shell, a mannequin head and a commercially available jaw set. The mouth shell has upper and lower jaws, upper and lower lips, a chin and a nose. The mouth shell is dimensionally adapted to receive the commercially-available jaw set to form the mouth assembly. The head mannequin includes an oral cavity which is dimensionally adapted to receive the mouth assembly.
