Abstract: A toner set for electrophotography, including a black toner; a yellow toner; a magenta toner; a cyan toner; and a bright yellow toner, wherein the magenta toner includes a magenta colorant mainly including C.I. Pigment Red 122, the yellow toner has a hue angle of from 93 to 100° and the bright yellow toner has a hue angle of from 60 to 85° in L*a*b* color system.

Abstract: The present invention provides a particle dispersion liquid including (meth)acrylic resin-containing hydrophobic particles, an acetylene glycol surfactant adsorbed to the hydrophobic particles, and water; the particle size, in a state of being swollen due to absorbing water until saturation, of the hydrophobic particles to which the acetylene glycol surfactant has been adsorbed being 1.1 to 2 times as large as the particle size of the hydrophobic particles in a dried state.
Abstract: In an image forming apparatus that includes an image carrier, a charging unit, a latent-image forming unit that forms a latent image for each color by exposing the surface of the image carrier charged by the charging unit, and a plurality of developing units that sequentially develops latent images formed on the image carrier with toners of different colors including at least cyan, yellow, and magenta, to form a color toner image on a single unit of the image carrier, the developing units further develops the latent images with toners of blue, green, and red, such that the toner images of different colors are not superimposed on a same position.

Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a color image forming method capable of forming full color images desired for a precise reproduction to the color tone of high resolution and a halftone in high-end apparatuses. Disclosed is a color image forming method employing 6 kinds of chromatic color toners and a black toner, each toner containing particles having a median particle diameter (D50) of 3-7 ?m in terms of volume, a decline starting temperature of a storage elastic modulus of 10-40° C., a temperature of 70-130° C. in the storage elastic modulus range of 103-104 Pa, and a primary diameter of 40-800 nm.

Abstract: A tandem color electrostatographic printer apparatus has five or more color printing stations or modules for applying respective color separation toner images to a receiver member to form a pentachrome color image in a single pass. A fuser station fuses the pentachrome color image. A clear toner overcoat is then applied to the fused pentachrome toner image and enhanced glossing of the image is provided by a belt glosser to improve color gamut.
Abstract: A magenta toner is provided which contains at least a binder resin, a colorant, and a wax, in which a maximum heat-absorption peak temperature as measured using a differential scanning calorimeter, a reflectance at a predetermined wavelength when measured in a powder state by spectroscopic analysis, and lightness when measured in a powder form are in specific ranges. A full-color image is formed using the magenta toner as a pale magenta toner in combination with a deep magenta toner. According to the present invention, it becomes possible to form a vivid image which has reduced graininess and roughness from a low-density region to a high-density region, ensures a sufficient fixing temperature region, has a color reproduction range wider that the conventional one, and has high transparency on an OHP sheet.
