Abstract: A color photographic color coupler-containing light-sensitive material containing, in a photographic layer, at least one compound represented by the following general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, a heterocyclic group, a dialkylsilyl group, a trialkylsilyl group, an alkanesulfonyl group, an arylsulfonyl group, an aralknesulfonyl group or an -X-Y group in which X represents a carbonyl group, and Y represents an alkyl group, an aryl group, an aralkyl group, an alkoxy group, an aryloxy group, an aralkoxy group, an alkylamino group, a dialkylamino group, an arylamino or diarylamino group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, an aryloxycarbonyl group, an aralkoxycarbonyl group or an acyl group; R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.
Abstract: A multicolor diffusion transfer photographic system wherein development of an exposed multilayer photsensitive element is effected in the presence of a ligand which is represented by the formula ##STR1## wherein R is hydrogen, alkyl or hydroxyalkyl, m is an integer of from 3 to 10 and n is 0 or an integer of from 1 to 3 with the proviso that the sum of m and n is not greater than 10.
Abstract: A color photographic material comprising a support and at least one layer thereon containing at least one compound of formula [I]: Formula [I] ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 each are defined in the specification and claims of this application. The compound of formula [I] is incorporated in a color photographic material to prevent the discoloration and fading-in-color of the color photographic material.
Abstract: A photographic material having a light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer coated on a support. The material contains a compound represented by the following general formula [Ia] or [Ib] ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.3 individually represent an alkyl, alkenyl or acyl group; R.sub.4 represents a halogen atom, an alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl or cyano group, or --SO.sub.2 R.sub.5 or --COR.sub.5 group; and R.sub.5 represents a hydrogen atom, a hydroxy, alkyl, alkoxy, cycloalkoxy, aryloxy or amino group.
Abstract: In a color photographic material wherein by color development there are produced either non-diffusing image dyes or diffusing image dyes (the latter being transferred to an image-receiving layer) the color development is controlled by means of non-diffusing thioether compounds which on color development release a diffusing mercapto compound but do not themselves form a dye. The mercapto compound inhibits the development of the silver halide and the thioether compound has the formula ##STR1## R.sub.1 =hydrogen or alkyl with 1-3 carbon atoms R.sub.2 =alkyl with up to 22 carbon atoms the group --S--Y is split off during color development and forms a mercaptane, e.g. 5-mercapto-1-phenyltetrazole, which inhibits the development.

Abstract: A multicolor diffusion transfer photographic system wherein development of an exposed multilayer photosensitive element is effected in the presence of an oligomer which is represented by the formulaR.sub.1 O(CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 O).sub.m R.sub.2wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 each independently may be --CH.sub.3 or --C.sub.2 H.sub.5 and m is an integer of from 4 to 10.
Abstract: A color photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon a silver halide emulsion layer containing 2,5-bis(1',1'-dimethylbutyl)hydroquinone or a precursor thereof and a 3-anilino-5-pyrazolone type magenta coupler represented by the following general formula (II): ##STR1## wherein IR represents RCONH--, RNHCO--, ROCO--, RNHSO.sub.2 --, ROSO.sub.2 NH-- ##STR2## wherein R represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 35 carbon atoms, an alkenyl group or an aralkyl group, which groups can be further substituted. The color photographic light-sensitive material can provide color images having excellent fastness and free from discoloration at the non-image areas.
Abstract: A color photographic light-sensitive element having (1) reduced fog, (2) low reduction in sensitivity and (3) good yellow dye image light fastness, and comprising a support having thereon at least one silver halide photographic emulsion and optionally one or more non-light-sensitive subsidiary layers, wherein a blue-sensitive silver halide photographic emulsion layer and/or a non-light-sensitive layer adjacent thereto contains at least one asymmetrical hydroquinone compound selected from the group consisting of 2-methyl-5-tert-octylhydroquinone, 2-tert-butyl-5-tert- amylhydroquinone, 2-tert-butyl-5-tert-hexylhydroquinone, 2-methyl-5-tert-hexylhydroquinone, 2-methyl-5-tert-amylhydroquinone, 2-methyl-5-(1'-methylcyclohexyl)hydroquinone and precursors thereof wherein either or both hydroxyl groups are modified with an acyl group represented by the formulae: ##STR1## wherein R represents an alkyl group.
Abstract: A photographic element having at least two silver halide emulsion layers, one layer containing a colorless cyan-forming coupler which produces a negative image and the other layer containing a colored coupler which upon color development with a p-phenylene diamine developer produces a positive dye image of contrasting color to cyan, will produce a color contrast radiographic picture after exposure and development.
