    Abstract: An apparatus for supplying gaseous fuel to a kamado-style grill is disclosed. The kamado-style grill includes a vessel and a fire bowl positioned within the vessel. The vessel and the fire bowl each have an opening. The apparatus includes a gas burner insertable through the opening of the vessel for positioning below the opening of the fire bowl, and a housing substantially covering the opening of the vessel and including one or more openings for allowing air to pass into or out of the kamado-style grill. Other example apparatuses and grill assemblies for receiving the apparatuses are also disclosed.

The torch ignitor and gas valve interlock according to the present invention requires a skilled, compound motion easily provided by an adult and unlikely to be imposed by accidental gross motions, without diminishing or interfering with the operator's ability to easily operate the ignitor.

    Abstract: An igniting rod which ignites by the operation of an operating member comprises a lock member for locking said operating member during a non-use state. The igniting rod automatically returns to a locked state after ignition. The invention improves operability, simplifies assembly and reduces the number of parts by eliminating an urging member. A lock portion of said lock member, which interferes with a part of said operating member, is disposed such that it is displaceable as said lock member is elastically deformed from a fixed portion where the lock member is fixed to a main body portion. The elastic force returns the lock portion to a locked position. A protruding lock release portion is provided for releasing the lock portion, the lock release portion being provided with a smooth curvature on which a finger F for operating an operating portion of the operating member can simultaneously rest.

    Abstract: A powered multi-fuel burner for heating a heating cabinet of a cooking station. A frame provides first and second lateral skids which are spaced apart to be received on first and second lateral brackets in the heating cabinet. The frame includes first and second feet on a side of the frame which extends out of the cabinet when it is inserted. A plenum supported on the front end of the frame has an insulated interior, and an exterior apertured surface facing each of the cooking stations in the heating cabinet. A burner assembly has a flame tube which is inserted through a convective air current into the plenum. The burner produces a flame which is spread by the plenum, but which produces no flame through the apertured surfaces. The multi-fuel burner may be used inside or outside of the heating cabinet for diverse cooking applications.

    Abstract: A burner replacing system has a rail mounted in a ring around the outer periphery of burners mounted radially at the middle of a gas turbine. A carriage turns around the burners via the rail; and supports a pull-out slide via a rotary shaft which turns the slide up and down in the direction of a center axis of the gas turbine. Another rotary shaft turns the slide right and left around a radial axis of the gas turbine. The slide moves in the axial direction of the burners. A hand for gripping the burner is supported by the pull-out slide via a centering slide which moves up and down in the radial direction of the burner. An alternate system has a pull-out slide which is supported by the carriage and moves forward and backward in the axial direction of the burner. A telescopic slide is supported by the pull-out slide and expands in the axial direction of the burner. The hand is provided at the edge of the telescopic slide to grip the burner.

    Abstract: The disclosure relates to burners with a burner nozzle and a primary air nozzle, the nozzles being jointly axially offset in relation to a secondary air nozzle. The primary air nozzle is in the form of, or is mounted to, an elongate tube which, in its turn, is shiftably mounted on and extends through an openable scuttle and a coronal portion, located inside the scuttle, of a primary air supply duct. The tube is axially shiftable between an operative position and an inoperative position. The burner and its burner nozzle are mounted in the elongate tube and are disposed, together with the tube to move as a unit out from the coronal portion on opening of the scuttle. The elongate tube has at least one air passage which, in all adjustment positions of the tube, maintains communication between the primary air nozzle and the coronal portion of the primary air supply duct.
