Main Fuel Line Branch Feeds Auxiliary Burner Patents (Class 431/237)
  • Patent number: 7568911
Abstract: A stove has a fuel tank with a flat top and bottom and a side wall to define a fuel chamber. A fuel feed path includes a vertical pipe assembly. The fuel feed path also includes a horizontal pipe assembly functioning as a vaporizer. The fuel feed path also includes a generally C-shaped pipe assembly. An associated warming coil is in a generally circular configuration to direct a flow of some of the fuel from one part of the horizontal pipe assembly to another part of the horizontal pipe assembly. A generally cylindrical ignition chamber is at the terminal end of the C-shaped pipe assembly. Apertures are provided for cooking purposes and are adapted to preheat the fuel in the horizontal pipe assembly and the warming coil.

  • Patent number: 5495829
Abstract: A self-powered forced or induced draft water heater is provided including a tank adapted for storing hot water, a sealed combustion chamber, a powered burner, a thermoelectric module, and a through-chamber heat sink having a base portion and a pin portion. The combustion chamber has a common wall with the tank at a lower zone of the tank. The powered natural gas burner has a blower which delivers air to the burner through an inlet duct and forces combustion products out a flue. The thermoelectric module generates operating power for the burner blower. The thermoelectric module has a hot side in thermal communication with a combustion zone of the burner and a cold side attached to the heat sink base portion. The pin portion of the heat sink is conically shaped and extends through an opening in the common wall to the interior of the tank. The base portion of the heat sink is removably attached to the common wall and is provided with an o-ring or other means to seal the wall opening.

  • Patent number: 5033957
Abstract: Diesel fuel is vaporized and then burned on a cylindrical screen flame holder. The fuel is vaporized in a finned, vertical tube vapor generator and directed through a superheater tube past the flame to a flow control valve and nozzle. A flow restriction is provided between a liquid fuel supply and the vapor generator. The flame holder is vertically supported over a mixer and the nozzle. A flame deflector about the flame holder and a reservoir about the nozzle collect fuel condensate during start-up.

  • Patent number: 4928605
Abstract: There is disclosed an oxygen heater, which uses a part of supplied oxygen as auxiliary combustion oxygen, a hot oxygen lance and a pulverized solid fuel burner, both having oxygen heaters. The oxygen heater (1) has a combustion chamber (4) for both mixing and burning fuel with the part of the supplied oxygen. An oxygen-jetting opening (8) is disposed around the combustion chamber. The oxygen jetted out of the opening forms a gas curtain between an internal wall (2) and a flame (10) produced in the combustion chamber, and is heated by the flame. Both the oxygen lance and the burner includes the above-mentioned oxygen heater.
