The first and second belt portions being folded over the first surface to form a folded belt configuration prior to use of said article, whereby the first belt portion is arranged on top of the second belt portion. In addition, a belt-opening trigger zone is disposed on the first belt portion and arranged adjacent the free end of the first belt portion.

The method includes receiving a garment fit model defining the fit of the particular garment on the user. The method further includes parsing the garment fit model to generate control data for controlling the fit simulation garment, and transmitting the control data to the fit simulation garment to cause the plurality of actuators to collectively simulate the fit of the particular garment on the user.

Abstract: A multi-user shopping experience that allows users to converse and exchange ideas in a group setting while shopping. Through a browser or an application (e.g., on a mobile device), users are able converse with other shoppers, exchange ideas, select items, view items selected by other users, and make purchases. Additionally, each user is notified of other users' activities (e.g., viewing a collective shopping bin or browsing web pages in an on-line marketplace). Furthermore, incentives (such as discounts or free gifts) are provided to users in the group.

The method may further include generating a body shape model representing the shape of the body of the user. Abstract: A visual communications (VC) tool enables visual communication over a data communications network. An email is sent to a recipient containing a link to a first visual arrangement generated by a sender. The first visual arrangement may include images of various products. The first visual arrangement is displayed via a web browser in a first display area of the VC tool in response to actuation of the link in the email message. The recipient then selects a first image in the first display area. The selection may include dragging and dropping the first image into a second display area of the VC tool. The selection triggers the generating of a second visual arrangement which includes a copy of the first image. The copy of the first image is displayed in a second display area concurrently with the display of the first image in the first display area.

Abstract: A system or method is provided to implement electronic wardrobes for consumers. When a user makes a purchase, the system may determine whether the purchase includes wearable items, such as clothes or other wearable accessories. An electronic wardrobe may be created for the user to store the wearable items purchased by the user. The electronic wardrobe of the user may be broadcasted by the user's mobile device to other nearby consumers via Near Field Communication (NFC), such as low energy Bluetooth (BLE) communication. For example, if the user is wearing a shirt and a nearby consumer wishes to find out more about the shirt, the consumer may discover the user's electronic wardrobe via NFC to find information about the shirt, such as where the shirt was purchase, the make and model of the shirt, the price of the shirt, and the like.

Abstract: A visual communications (VC) tool enables visual communication over a data communications network. An email is sent to a recipient containing a link to a first visual arrangement generated by a sender. The first visual arrangement may include images of various products. The first visual arrangement is displayed via a web browser in a first display area of the VC tool in response to actuation of the link in the email message. The recipient then selects a first image in the first display area. The selection may include dragging and dropping the first image into a second display area of the VC tool. The selection triggers the generating of a second visual arrangement which includes a copy of the first image. The copy of the first image is displayed in a second display area concurrently with the display of the first image in the first display area.

Abstract: A visual communications (VC) tool creating visual arrangements and presenting the visual arrangements to others for feedback and comment in an efficient and secure manner. An author uses the VC tool to generate a folio, storyboard, or presentation, and publishes the generated arrangement to desired recipients. The published arrangement is uploaded to a server once, and a recipient equipped with a copy of the VC tool downloads the arrangement in response to a notification from the server. Thereafter, only changes to the visual arrangement are uploaded to the server and forwarded to the recipient. The recipient may transmit a comment on the visual arrangement back to the author's VC tool. The author's VC tool tracks and automatically correlates all received comments to their respective arrangements, allowing them to be concurrently displayed on a single screen.

The method includes initiating a chat session between at least a first client computer device associated with a first participant and a second client computer device associated with a second participant, and sharing at least one view of an ecommerce website with the first client computer device and the second client computer device. The at least one view includes at least one purchasable item. Abstract: The teacher's strategies tool apron of the present invention provides easy access and organization to the tools needed to enhance any instructional segment and promote student retention in PreK to 8th grade. The “tools of the trade” are located in the appropriately matched pockets of the apron, paired with researched best practices education strategies. Together they maximize the attention and involvement of the learning audience while simultaneously giving easy access and organization to the tools themselves to the presenter. Abstract: Some demonstrative embodiments of the invention include systems, devices and/or methods enabling appearance comparison. The system, according to some demonstrative embodiments, may include at least one interactive imaging and display station. The station may include, for example, a mirror-display device capable of selectably operating in either or both a mirror mode or a display mode; an imaging device to capture one or more appearances appearing in a filed of view in front of the mirror-display device; and/or an image control unit to select the mode of operation of the mirror-display device according to a user command. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Abstract: When a user browses an online retailer's Web site or a mirror site, the user can select an item and model the item online by having a server generate a digital image of the user wearing the item. If the user is still unsure as to whether to buy the item, the user can enter an online chat room in which the online modeling image is displayed to other users. The user can then receive the other users' feedback before deciding whether to buy the item. In a second embodiment, multiple online modeling images are generated to provide the user with a customized catalog, which can be of items for a single merchant or multiple merchants.

A graphic representation of the item is imprinted on the carrier, having object lines which include an outline and object lines which depict interior details of the item. The object lines are silver metallic in color and may be heat transferred using metal foil and a die in the shape of the object lines. The outline defines a window which is transparent so that when the carrier is held over one of the selected fabric samples, the selected fabric sample may be viewed through the window so that the item can be visualized in conjunction with that fabric sample. The carrier has a background area outside of the outline which is less than transparent so as to at least partially obscure the selected fabric sample so that the user can focus upon the selected fabric sample in conjunction with the item.

Abstract: A new and improved product designed to enhance the lives of teachers and adults in their attempts to teach handicapped individuals. The present invention will serve to greatly enhance teachers and adults who are involved in teaching handicapped individuals by assisting them in locating visual pictures during activities at home or at school. The present invention would be attached to a belt, which would be strapped around a user's waist. The present invention would also have a pair of removable felt pads, which a user would be able to attach pictures to, with the flaps being removable at the will of a user. When an adult or teacher would wish to communicate with someone, the adult or teacher would simply remove the picture and hand it to the user. The present invention would also have a front-mounted pad with an enclosed pouch which would be used for storing extra pictures and drawings, with pad including the enclosed pouch being located in front of the other two pair of flaps.

The audio broadcast can be actuated, while affixed to the bistable spring by the striking of the device against any suitably-shaped object, or independently of the spring, by simply removing the unit from the spring and applying pressure to the unit thereby activating the audio messages stored therein.

Abstract: A wardrobe color coordination kit for enabling men and women to rapidly select color coordinated outfits utilizes numbered tags which are secured to various major clothing items. Short cylindrical numbered tags are also provided for attachment to conventional clothes hangers. A rotary file displays color coordinated clothing combinations through a front transparent window. Numbered blocks within the file are removably retained on an endless link belt which is received around spaced sprockets. A ratchet mechanism is provided to increment the belt to display the next row of color coordinated clothing key numbers through the front transparent window. The numbered blocks are mounted on the link belt so as to be indexable for displaying four different numbered sides of the block. The blocks may also be easily removed and replaced with other differently numbered blocks. A drawer is provided at the lower end of the rotary file for storage of a spare supply of numbered blocks.

In most instances, the color is selected from a predetermined universe of colors. Each garment of the second generic type, e.g. tops, is provided with a second type of hangtag with all of the colors in the universe thereon. One or more of the colors on the first type of hangtag are designated by punching the area thereon bearing that color. Any bottom having a tag with a color corresponding to one of the designated colors, coordinates with the top bearing the punched tag. The color of the tag of the first type is visible through the punch in the tag of the second type, when same are held in registration, one behind the other. Bottoms having tags with a color other than one selected from the universe, coordinate with all tops.

Abstract: Biological agents such as secretory cells are encapsulated in a hydrophilic gel made of agarose or collagen-agarose and gelatin sponge-agarose combinations. In a preferred embodiment, semi-solid beads are formed from a suspension containing collagen, agarose and secretory cells such as pancreatic islets, the collagen is polymerized to form solid, agarose-collagen beads and the solid beads are coated with agarose. Coating is preferably by rolling the solid beads in about 5-10% agarose, contacting the rolled beads with mineral oil and washing oil from the beads. Beads containing secretory cells can be transplanted into a mammal to treat a condition caused by impaired secretory cell function.
