Abstract: A virtual motion-acceleration spherical simulator includes an outer gyroscopic sphere, an inner gyroscopic sphere concentrically disposed relative to the outer gyroscopic sphere, and a spherical cockpit having eight quadrants. The cockpit has a display device, a full HD 3D projector, a curved screen simulating a windshield, a controller device, and a real vehicle dashboard. A first seat is provided for an operator in a first quadrant of the spherical cockpit and a second seat is provided for a navigator in a second quadrant of the spherical cockpit. Drive assemblies connected to the gyroscopic spheres impart longitudinal and lateral movement in two orthogonal directions.
Abstract: An actuated support frame for transmitting motion to a seat with respect to a ground as a function of motion signals associated with video output, comprises a frame. The frame is expandable/retractable along translational degrees of freedom. Support surfaces are provided on the frame. The support surfaces are displaceable with respect to one another by expansion/retraction of the frame so as to be sized to support a seat. Actuators are provided between the frame and the ground. The actuators receive signals and selectively displace the frame with respect to the ground in synchronization with a video output, whereby a seat supported on the frame is displaceable within the frame. A method for installing a seating system of a motion simulator system is also provided.

Abstract: An apparatus for training aircraft pilots wherein the apparatus includes a boom defined by a central bracket, a large rigid arm and a small rigid arm collectively supported on a vertical mast for pivotal movement about horizontal and vertical axes. The large and small arms extending outwardly from the mast along a common longitudinal axis, the outward end of the small arm being provided with an adjustable balance weight and the outward end of the big arm being provided with a sling for suspending an aircraft at its center of gravity.
Abstract: Apparatus and method for training pilots in the operation of aircraft. The apparatus includes a means for generating a generally horizontal air stream mounted on movable support means. The air stream means and support means are tethered to an aircraft and their movement is responsive to movement of the aircraft during flight training.
