Pivotable Connector Patents (Class 439/238)
  • Patent number: 9341360
Abstract: Fluorescent lamp holder assembly 10 comprising a lamp holder 15 and a socket 20. The holder 15 houses one pair of electrical terminals, and includes one pair of openings 30 located at a position corresponding to the position of the electrical terminals. The lamp holder 15 includes one pair of parallel spaced-apart legs 35 with one end connected to the terminal and the free end protruding from the body of the holder 15. The socket 20 has one pair of spaced-apart electrical terminals defining insertion inlets 45. The holder 15 can be coupled to the socket 20 by inserting the legs 35 into the corresponding terminals of the socket 20. The holder assembly 10 further comprises releasable, resiliently biased locking means 60 movable between an opening position, in which holder 15 and socket 20 can be unplugged and a locking position, in which holder 15 and socket 20 are held together.

  • Patent number: 7497741
Abstract: A multi-layered connector is disclosed. The multi-layered connector includes a first sub-connector and a second sub-connector. The first sub-connector includes a first elongated body. The second sub-connector includes a second elongated body, and two side arms elongated upwardly from opposite ends of the second elongated body. The side arms define slide grooves faced to each other for receiving the first sub-connector. The multi-layered connector further includes glue points that connect the first elongated body and the second elongated body. The multi-layered connector avoids solder bridges and solder cracks.

  • Patent number: 7270555
Abstract: A car interior LED lamp adaptor electrical connector structure that includes a base configured and structured to match various car interior lamp socket structure configurations, wherein a female socket of an electrical connecting socket is embedded within the base, and positive and negative electrode pins protrude form a bottom portion of the female socket, which electrically connect to electrode terminals of the base of various forms, thereby fabricating an electrical connector terminal. An LED lamp board is joined to connecting wires and a male socket of an electrical connecting socket, thereby enabling the male socket to connect to a female socket of an electrical connecting socket. Then, the electrical connector terminal can be assembled and connected to a car interior lamp socket, thus forming an electrical connection and emitting of light, and thereby providing the present invention with the advantage of use with the majority of car interior lamp sockets.

  • Patent number: 6890199
Abstract: A socket for a bipin lamp has a relatively stationary body, a pair of contacts in the body symmetrically flanking an axis of the body, and a rotor formed with an axially open and generally diametrally extending slot and pivotal on the body about the axis between an outwardly open position and a crosswise position. Pins of the lamp are insertable into the slot and engageable with the contacts in the crosswise position. An operating part has a disk fixed to the rotor and formed with a slot aligned axially with the rotor slot and an arm fixed on and projecting radially from the disk past the lamp when the pins are in the slots. Thus a user can fit the lamp pins to the slots and pivot the rotor between the positions by the arm to engage the pins with the contacts.

  • Patent number: 5204580
Abstract: A lamp device includes a ring-shaped bulb, terminated at a prescribed annular length, each terminated portion of which is formed in a linear shape so as to make the bulb axis of one of the terminated portions coincide with that of the other terminated portion, and a base structure rotatably mounted around the opposite terminated portions of the bulb. Thus, the location of the bulb can be adjusted to a desirable position by the rotation of the bulb when the lamp device is attached to an external supporting device.
