  • Patent number: 11217755
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus for monitoring and controlling electronic devices using wired and wireless protocols are disclosed. The systems and apparatus may monitor their environment for signals from electronic devices. The systems and apparatus may take and disambiguate the signals that are received from the devices in their environment to identify the devices and associate control signals with the devices. The systems and apparatus may use communication means to send control signals to the identified electronic devices. Multiple apparatuses or systems may be connected together into networks, including mesh networks, to make for a more robust architecture.

  • Patent number: 10874799
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a medicament delivery device comprising: a housing configured to receive a cartridge containing a medicament; an injection needle having a proximal end and a distal end; an injection needle holder to which the injection needle is fixed, the injection needle holder being moveable relative to the housing between a rest position and a use position; and an injection needle cap detachably connected to the injection needle holder and enclosing the proximal end of the injection needle. The medicament delivery device is configured such that pushing the injection needle cap towards the cartridge causes the injection needle holder to move from the rest position in which the distal end of the injection needle is spaced from the cartridge towards the use position in which the distal end of the injection needle can engage the cartridge.

  • Publication number: 20150126055
Abstract: A connector includes a metal terminal part on which conductive wires exposed outside at an end of an electric cable are pressure-contacted; a housing for accommodating the end of the electric cable and the metal terminal part; and a tube-like metal cover for covering the housing and fixing the housing to an electric device M. The housing has an electric cable insertion hole through which the electric cable is insertable. The housing includes an engageable claw as position restriction means for restricting relative positions of the housing and the metal cover. The engageable claw is restricted, by the electric cable inserted into the electric cable insertion hole, from being displaced.

  • Patent number: 8512060
Abstract: A rotatable and positive lockable circular connector including a spin coupling having an axial bore therethrough; a cylindrical connection interface inserted into the axial bore of the spin coupling; and an adapter body having an internal bore into which the spin coupling is axially inserted, thereby placing the spin coupling, connection interface, and adapter body into axial alignment. The adapter body includes a shielded branch for passing conductor wires. A locking system permits selective rotation of the spin coupling in relation to the adapter body when the apparatus is in an unlocked position, and positively locks the spin coupling in relation to the adapter body when the apparatus is in a locked position. Grounding elements maintain a ground path from the branch shielding to a connector shell coupled to the spin coupling.

  • Publication number: 20090142952
Abstract: A conversion adapter ring for a connector has a female screw, on the inner periphery of a cylindrical main body thereof for screwing and mounting onto a male screw of a screw coupling type connector. A bayonet groove is also provided on the outer periphery of the main body for engaging a bayonet coupling type connector. An alternate connector is a connector capable of being inserted into and extracted from a mating connector in the axial direction. The connector has, in the outer periphery of a cylindrical shell that mates with the mating connector, a male screw for engaging the mating connector, and a bayonet groove formed with a notch in the male screw.

  • Patent number: 6682360
Abstract: A coupling element (K) for mounting to a shielded electrical cable (1), and a method for mounting the it. The cable (1) has plural insulated electrical conductors, a surrounding metallic shield, and an outer insulating jacket. The shield is fixed to a sleeve-like metallic adapter into which conductors of the cable (1) project. The adapter is surrounded by an insulating protective part (2), and for removal of the coupling element the adapter has a hollow space that is free from the insulating material of the protective part (2). An internally-threaded metallic sleeve (7) is freely rotatable about its axis and is captively attached to the adapter at its end facing away from the cable (1) and encompasses the adapter. A connector body (8) having a threaded fitting and enclosing the contact carrier is screwed into the sleeve so that it abuts the adapter with a moisture-tight fit.

  • Publication number: 20030203668
Abstract: An anisotropic electrically conducting interconnect is disclosed in which an adhesive comprising particles having a breakable coating of at least one electrically nonconductive material is compressed between a first contact and a second contact. Compression to two contacts breaks the breakable coating exposing an electrically conducting material which makes contact with the first and second contacts. The electrically conducting material may be a metal conductor or a two-part reactive conductive resin/catalyst system. Also disclosed are processes for making such electrical interconnects and adhesives for use in making electrical interconnect.

  • Patent number: 4673234
Abstract: An assembly for use in coupling a flexible conduit or electrical cable to an electrical connector when the assembly and the connector must be clocked due to the fact that the conduit or cable cannot be twisted or rotated about its central axis. The assembly includes an adapter body adapted to be coupled to the conduit or cable and a nut rotatably mounted on an adjacent end of the body, the nut having threads for coupling the body to a connector to complete the assembly. The connector is adapted to be coupled to a panel-mounted connector or to a connector coupled to a second conduit or electrical cable. The body has a clocking ring rotatably mounted within one end of the body, the ring being held against axial removal from the body and being rotatable through a limited arc. The two connectors can readily mate with each other by merely rotating the clocking ring until proper clocking alignment is assured.
