  • Patent number: 10910750
Abstract: A connector device includes a pair of first terminals, a second terminal, and a cover body. The first terminals are arranged in parallel. The second terminal includes a pair of contact points that are electrically connected to the respective first terminals, and is biased by a spring so that the contact points collectively sandwich the first terminals. The cover body made of a resin is attached to tip parts of the first terminals. The cover body includes first guide surfaces that have the contact points of the second terminal sliding thereon and guide the contact points in a direction for separating the contact points when the first terminals are connected to the second terminal. Thus, wear of the first terminals and the second terminal can be reduced.

  • Patent number: 8538439
Abstract: A communications system includes a service provider device, a mobile wireless communications device, and a plurality of communication infrastructure nodes. The plurality of communication infrastructure nodes are configured to generate an association mismatch communications path between the service provider device and the mobile wireless communications device, the association mismatch communications path including at least two communication infrastructure nodes in series. The plurality of communications infrastructure nodes are also configured to generate a corrected association communications path between the service provider device and the mobile wireless communications device from the mismatch communications path, the corrected association communications path including just a single communication infrastructure node from the at least two communication infrastructure nodes.

  • Patent number: 7147505
Abstract: a connector assembly comprises an electrical connector (1); a cable assembly comprising a cable (2) having a connecting portion (22) electrically connecting with the electrical connector and a strain relief member (5) circumferentially fixed on the cable and located behind the connecting portion and a single-piece insulated member (4) encasing most portion of the connector assembly. The cable passes through a cable outlet (43) formed rear wall (42) of the single-piece insulated member to extend out. The strain relief member has a block portion (52) blocked against inside surface of the rear wall and an oblate boot portion (51) extending rearward from the block portion to just pass through the cable outlet. The oblate boot portion has a projecting portion (511) cooperating with the block portion to confine the insulated coating to move a front-to-rear direction.

  • Patent number: 6632023
Abstract: An adapter 5 for an optical connector comprises a pair of wall portions 55a and 55b on a mounting surface 56a. The structure allows the adapter to accommodate an optical connector 4 inserted from a direction vertical to the mounting surface 56a, and allows the adapter to accommodate an optical connector 7 inserted along a predetermined axis 8. On this account, it is possible to insert the connector 7 along the predetermined axis 8 to the housed optical connector 4. Since the optical connector 4 is mated to and demated from the optical connector 7 in this sort of adapters, force applied to an optical module 2 is decreased in mating/demating the connector. An optical module product 9 includes the optical module 2, a coated optical fiber 3, the optical connector 4, and the optical connector's adapter 5. An optical module mounting substrate product 1 includes the optical module product 9 and a substrate 10 for mounting thereon the optical module 2 and the adapter 5 for optical connectors.

  • Publication number: 20020055297
Abstract: A modular female electrical terminal includes a receptacle portion for receiving a male electrical terminal. A first module comprises a base member formed of a first material and having a first thickness. The base member preferably provides the principal current flowpath through the female terminal. A second module comprises a cover member which is formed of a second material having a second thickness. The cover member is secured to the base member in an overlying relationship so as to define in cooperation with the base member a cavity suitable for receiving the desired male terminal shape. At least one of the first module or the second module includes means for biasing the male electrical terminal into electrical and frictional contact with the receptacle portion of the terminal. The base member includes side walls extending toward the cover member to define the cavity.

  • Patent number: 5481444
Abstract: A light holder includes a receptacle which receives a miniature light without requiring the imposition of significant application forces by the user during insertion and which thus permits miniature lights to be strung on a christmas tree or the like in a desired orientation without fear of damaging the lights or the holders. The receptacle may have a body which slidably receives a socket of a stock light, in which case the receptacle body should be formed with slots for guiding the electrical cord of the light string into and through the receptacle. The receptacle may also be formed integral with a light socket when the light is manufactured. In either case, the receptacle and a clip for clipping the holder to a support are preferably formed from a single injection molded element.
