Randomly Manipulated Implement Patents (Class 439/481)
  • Patent number: 11614110
Abstract: A demountable assembly structure includes a first body, second body, and engaging component. The first body has a first sliding surface and a slide switch recess positioned proximate to the first sliding surface. The second body has a second sliding surface and an engaging channel positioned proximate to the second sliding surface. The engaging channel is opposite the slide switch recess. The engaging component has a slide switch and a resilient element. The resilient element has a basal portion fixedly disposed in the slide switch recess and a resilient engaging arm extended from the basal portion to the engaging channel and engaged inside the engaging channel. The resilient engaging arm has a guide surface opposite the engaging channel. When the first sliding surface slides onto the second sliding surface, the resilient engaging arm gets engaged inside the engaging channel by having the guide surface slid along the engaging channel.

  • Patent number: 10267829
Abstract: A voltage detecting probe includes: a shield barrel that is a barrel-shaped member made of an electrically conductive material and has an insertion concave for inserting a wire formed in a front end thereof by cutting away an outer circumferential wall at the front end along a direction perpendicular to an axis; and a detection electrode that is formed of a cylindrical member made of an electrically conductive material, whose front end surface and outer circumferential surface are covered with an insulating covering, and is housed inside the shield barrel and capable of moving relative to the shield barrel along the axis direction. When the detection electrode has been moved relative to the shield barrel and the front end surface is positioned at the insertion concave, the front end surface becomes capacitively coupled, via the insulating covering, with a wire inserted in the insertion concave.

  • Patent number: 6974458
Abstract: A bipolar endoscopic device is provided having a detachable power cord with a plug capable of forming a sealed connection with the endoscopic device. The plug is connected at a back face of a movable guide member of the endoscopic device and can be oriented in different orientations to accommodate different operators. The detachable plug forms a sealed connection with the endoscopic device so that the electrosurgical connection cannot be short-circuited by the outside environment such as a saline irrigation fluid.

  • Patent number: 6350139
Abstract: A twist-lock connector assembly for securing an engaged electrical plug to an electrical outlet which includes a rotatable cylindrical sleeve for enclosing an electrical plug and a modified cover plate for replacing the conventional cover plate of an electrical outlet, such as a wall socket or a portable power box. The forward end of the rotatable sleeve includes a plurality of external thread members. Each socket hole of the cover plate includes an inner cylindrical wall having a plurality of radially inwardly projecting nubs formed thereon. In use, the electrical plug is inserted into the socket portion of the wall outlet and the cylindrical sleeve is rotated about a ¼ turn. This causes the external threads on the rotatable sleeve to lockingly engaged the nubs disposed surrounding the socket opening(s) of the cover plate and thereby prevent the electrical plug from being accidentally pulled loose from the outlet by its connection with cover plate.

  • Patent number: 5234359
Abstract: This invention provides a terminal device for electrical connection to a lead section to be measured. The LCR measurement is easily and accurately taken with a single operation even when a space between lead sections to be measured is narrow. Thereby, an efficiency of the LCR measurement with the Kelvin connection is enhanced. An electroconductive pin is slidably inserted into a fine insulating housing. A hook-shaped terminal section is formed at the tip of the electroconductive pin. The electroconductive pin is urged by a spring in such a direction that the hook-shaped terminal section is retracted into the insulating housing and a lead section to be measured is engaged by the hook-shaped terminal section and a fixed terminal. The fixed terminal is provided at the tip of the insulating case so as to oppose the inner surface of the hook-shaped terminal portion. Two lead wires are respectively connected to the electroconductive pin and the fixed terminal at the rear end of the insulating housing.

  • Patent number: 4917621
Abstract: A disconnectable electrical plug for use with a urological endoscope comprising a housing; a conductor; a connector; and an extension block keyed for insertion into a guide block of the endoscope. The extension block extends from the housing at a substantially right angle to the entry of the condutor into the housing and is insertable into the guide block in either a first or second position. A urological endoscope is provided comprising a guide block with an electrical plug channel with a first entry on a first lateral side and a second entry on a second lateral side such that an electrical plug can be connected directly to an electrode by mounting the plug in the channel in either the first or second side of the guide block.

  • Patent number: 4795367
Abstract: Disclosed is an XY controller made up of a base and a seperate wand. The base has a flat top on which are arranged four separate electrical conductor strips in a square pattern except that the strips do not meet at the corners of the square but are closely spaced apart to provide normally open switches. The strips are individually connected to the data buss, for example, of an electronic apparatus such as a computer, game, etc. The wand is also connected to the apparatus and is freely manipulable manually relative to the base to make electrical contact with any strip or, selectively, with neighboring strips at each corner of the square, thereby to close the selected switch. Thus, manipulation of the wand, movable up and down, cross-wise and diagonally effects corresponding actuation of the circuits in the apparatus. The connection of the wand to the apparatus includes a line serving as a tether to the base.
