Abstract: This invention relates to providing a means to removeably mount a feed through/grounding bushing commonly used to bond together, ground and/or park power distribution cables. Many pieces of power distribution equipment have U brackets for removable attachment of accessories and temporary placed maintenance equipment. The present invention addresses holding the bushing at an angle relative to the U bracket and surrounding surface and adjustability of the bushing height relative to the U bracket for strain relief and adjusting for improved work room. Also addressed is the advantage of cable identification by numbering the wells so that a lineman may readily select the cables even after the bushing may have been set aside for equipment replacement. This is especially useful on but not limited to this invention since the U bracket mounting means is moveable and would not always provide positive identification of one end of a multi well bushing.

The second longitudinal section has an inner wall defining a second channel extending therethrough and communicates with the first channel. The second channel has generally a second diameter which is greater than the first diameter of the first channel such that a space is maintained between the inner wall of the second channel and a coaxial cable when disposed in the second channel, whereby the space protects the coaxial cable adjacent to the connector from damage when fastening or unfastening the connector.

Abstract: A looping plug for use with coaxial telecommunications jacks to loop the signal between a pair of adjacently mounted jacks. The loop plug includes a molded non-conductive housing which fits about a pair of identical die cast, conductive, inner housing halves. A pair of outer conductive barrels are mounted to and extend from the inner housing. The barrels are spaced apart to accommodate the spacing of the jack pair to be engaged. A continuous center conductor extends between and within the two conductor barrels and is electrically isolated from the barrels. The barrels and the center conductor may be of either gender as required to engage the jack pair. The non-conductive housing defines a gripping portion at a distal end. In various embodiments, symmetrical and non-symmetrical gripping portions are provided.

Abstract: The invention concerns an ejection mechanism (110). The ejection mechanism can include a movable ejection button (118) having at least one wing (124) and a cover (112) having at least one first projection (130) and at least one second projection (138). When the ejection button is in a first position, the first projection of the cover can engage the wing of the ejection button, and the second projection can engage a slot (140) of a housing (114). The second projection engaging the slot of the housing can cause a force (F) to be generated at an opposing end (131) of the cover. Also, when the ejection button is moved to a second position, the first projection of the cover can disengage the wing of the ejection button, and the generated force can cause the cover to move away from the housing.
