Abstract: A pedestal leg assembly includes a pedestal leg and floor base. The leg includes a plurality of teeth near the bottom end of the leg and a connecting bolt in a threaded engagement with the bottom end of the leg. The floor base includes a recessed portion having a slot in its bottom surface to receive the bolt and a release mechanism configured to pivot between a lock position and a release position. In lock position the release mechanism engages at least one of the teeth to prevent rotation of the pedestal leg in at least one direction. When pivoted into release position, the release mechanism is moved away from engagement with the teeth to allow rotation of the pedestal leg in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions. The pedestal leg assembly may include a powered connection to receive input power and/or a communication signal at the floor base and transfer the power and communication signals to a supported table top surface.

  • Patent number: 5618204
Abstract: A panel mount connector comprises a panel mount component and a movable component. The panel mount connector can be mounted to a panel by a combined sealing and provisional mounting ring. The movable connector part comprises a terminal receiving housing and a bayonet type rotatable locking ring having a first axial position allowing mounting of a rubber boot to the housing, the locking ring retractable to a second position partially extending over the rubber boot in order to prevent it from being accidentally pulled off the housing. The connectors can then be mated together by aligning keying means of the housing with corresponding keying means of the panel connector housing, axially moving the housings together, and then rotating the bayonet type locking ring until an end position whereby the sealing ring is compressed between a flange of the locking ring and the panel for sealing therebetween.

  • Patent number: 4982055
Abstract: The feedthrough device includes first and second half housing members, each of which has an internal chamber. The feedthrough device further includes a removable header member that fits within the chambers of the first and second half housing members when they are threaded together. The first half housing member has a threaded protrusion which fits into a threaded aperture located in the wall of a sealed structure, such as the wall of a vacuum furnace. The threaded protrusion arrangement includes a first "O" ring which seals the periphery of the aperture in the wall of the sealed structure. The header has first connectable terminals on one end and second connectable terminals on the other end. In between the first and second connectable terminals of the header there is located a plate member which fits along the edge of the first half housing member chamber; and located between that edge and the plate is a second "O" ring.

  • Patent number: 4778949
Abstract: A wire entrance fitting for eliminating leakage through a side wall of a tank has a tubular member which is externally threaded at opposed ends. Plural, threaded members are received in the tubular member and extend through an encapsulating, generally inert material. A first end of the threaded members receives an exposed wire from a cathodic protection system positioned in the tank for inhibiting corrosion, is crimped thereto, and sealingly encapsulated by a resinous material. A second end of the threaded members extends outwardly from the tank for connection to an external power supply. A flange is disposed along the tubular member and extends outwardly therefrom. The flange facilitates receipt of a junction box in one arrangement and positions an elastomeric seal member along an inner face of the tank side wall in a second arrangement.
