Abstract: A connector (A) includes a resiliently deformable resilient receiving portion (35) arranged to traverse an opening area of a lock hole (32) formed in a holder (30) and linked to an inner surface of the lock hole (32) at links (36) on opposite ends in a longitudinal direction. A locking rib (15) projects from a lock projection (12) formed in a housing (10) and extends along the longitudinal direction of the resilient receiving portion (35). The locking rib (15) causes the resilient receiving portion (35) to curve and deform in the process of assembling the housing (10) and the holder (30). Escaping edges (18) are formed on opposite longitudinal ends of a projecting edge (16) of the locking rib (15). The escaping edges (18) are oblique to the longitudinal direction of the resilient receiving portion (35) that is not resiliently deformed, and substantially face the links (36).

Abstract: Each feed-through pin of a multiple-phase, high voltage plug-pin connector comprises at least one conductor having a first insulation layer extending along at least part of its length, the insulation layer having an enlarged, load-bearing portion of non-circular cross-section having oppositely directed projections, configured for engagement in a correspondingly shaped bore portion of the connector shell. The load-bearing portions may be of a rhomboidal cross sectional shape with rounded corners, with a first diagonal length shorter than a second diagonal length. The pins are spaced around the central longitudinal axis of the shell with the shorter diagonal of each load-bearing portion extending radially and the oppositely directed projections extending into the radial spaces in the shell between adjacent pins. This arrangement allows space within a limited diameter feed through hole for the enlarged, load-bearing shoulder portions of the insulation layer.

Abstract: A rubber plug (10) has a plug main body (11) with at least first and second seal holes (13A, 13B) penetrating therethrough. Front and rear first lips (15A) are formed on the inner peripheral surface of the first seal hole (13A) and a valley (16) is defined between the first lips (15A). Front and rear second lips (15B) are formed on the inner peripheral surface of the second seal hole (13B) and a valley (17) is defined between the second lips (15B). The lips (15A, 15B) are disposed so that tips of the first lips (15A) align with the valley (17) of the second seal hole (13B). As a result, the first lips (15A) do not add to compressive forces exerted by the second lips (15B) when a wire is inserted into the second seal hole (13B).
