The electrically conductive legs on the bridge circuit board pass through the lid body and are electrically connected to the motherboard of an electronic device. By applying a USB electric connector for connecting two computers via a traditional USB transmission line, it is possible to inter-transfer data between two computers.

Abstract: The invention relates to a circuit board connector capable of establishing an electrical connection between circuits on a circuit board and a mating electrical connector at a mating side of said circuit board connector. The circuit board connector includes a connector housing accommodating a plurality of terminals for establishing said electrical connection and an electrically conductive shell at least partially enclosing said connector housing. The shell includes a top wall and a rear wall, wherein said rear wall is connected to said top wall and is arranged opposite to said mating side. The shell further has a first and second extension connected to opposite sides of said rear wall and bent with respect to said rear wall to extend towards said mating side. First and second mounting posts are connected, respectively, to said first and second extension and third and fourth mounting posts are connected to said rear wall, wherein said mounting posts are arranged for mounting said shell on said circuit board.

Abstract: A connector for connecting a card to a printed circuit board is provided. The connector includes a housing Z and a plurality of terminals. The housing includes a plurality of slots and at least one trench disposed in the vicinity of each of the plurality of slots. Each of the plurality of terminals includes a contact portion to be in contact with the card, an anchoring portion, four feet extending vertically from the anchoring portion, and a soldering portion extending from the anchoring portion and to be soldered to the printed circuit board. The terminal is mounted on the housing with at least one of the feet of the terminal inserted in at least one trench. The soldering portion is offset from the contact portion so that the contact portion will not come into contact with the soldering portion (when the contact portion is pressed towards the soldering portion, thereby providing a low-profile connector.

Abstract: A memory card socket has a plate-like antenna block having a coil-like secondary antenna which is opposed to an antenna incorporated in a memory card in a state where the memory card is attached to the card receiving portion. Openings as cavities are formed in portions of the antenna block inside of the coil of the secondary antenna. With this structure, it is possible to obtain a memory card socket having a compact and simple structure and having a non-contact communication function capable of preventing producing cost from increasing.

Abstract: A space-minimized flash drive has a USB connector and a body, where the flash drive comprises a printed circuit board, a plurality of contact fingers, one or more memory devices, and a controller. The printed circuit board has a component section located inside the body and an insertion section extending into and located inside the USB connector. The memory device is disposed on the component section. The contact fingers are disposed on the top surface of the insertion section. The controller is disposed on the bottom surface of the insertion section located inside the USB connector. The footprint occupied by the controller and the corresponding empty footprint are saved to effectively reduce the length of the flash drive to miniaturize flash drives without interfering with the electrical connections of the contact fingers when plugging in the flash drive.
