Planar Filter With Openings For Contacts Patents (Class 439/620.14)
  • Patent number: 8366488
Abstract: A three-pin microphone connector includes a connector base composed of an electrical insulator; a printed circuit board; a first pin for grounding and second and third pins for signals which penetrate through the connector base and the printed circuit board, a shield layer electrically connected to the first pin but not to the second and third pins, overlying almost the entire surface of the printed circuit board which faces the connector base; a first shield cover through which the three pins penetrate, covering the printed circuit board and the connector base from one surface, and a second shield cover through which the three pins penetrate, covering the connector base from the other surface. The first and second shield covers squeeze together at both ends to enwrap the connector base.

  • Patent number: 7540780
Abstract: A microphone connector comprising a receptacle which is made of a conductive material, receives a cable connector at one end of a microphone cable, includes a bottom plate, and a plurality of pins passing through the bottom plate. In the microphone connector, a cylindrical metal tube is coupled to a periphery of the bottom plate and is electrically integral with the receptacle; a printed circuit board is attached to the cylindrical metal tube and covers an opening thereof; connecting terminals are electrically integral with the pins, extend outward from the bottom plate, pass through the printed circuit board, and are electrically connected to wiring patterns on the printed circuit board; and capacitors are connected between the wiring pattern for the grounding pin and the wiring patterns for the other pins, and short-circuit high frequency signals.

  • Patent number: 7510440
Abstract: A connector with filter function is provided. The connector has a plurality of terminal lines and plastic packages for enclosing the terminal lines. Each of the terminal lines and plastic packages/dielectric material are formed with periodically repeated pattern, so that equivalent capacitors and inductors are formed in the connector. Therefore, the connector also functions as a filter.

  • Patent number: 7264510
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a socket connector to couple electrical plugs to sockets mounted on circuit boards or cable ends. The socket connector includes a socket that receives an electrical plug and a socket silo. The silo may contain a beveled outer surface that receives a beveled face on the plug. The plug is held in the socket by latches disposed on the plug. The latches include pawls that fit within pawl receiving chambers in the socket and couple the plug to the socket. The latch and hinged section may rotate into a recessed section on the plug from an extended to a retracted position.
