Abstract: A car charger plug is slidably mounted within a body of the compact car charger. The car charger plug is lockable in a fully retracted position and lockable in a fully extended position, so as to maintain its compact size when not in use, and provide a secure connection with a car charge port when desired.

Abstract: The embodiments provide a powerline network adapter that allows network communications over power lines while also being configurable to provide other features. In the embodiments, the network adapter can provide a first power outlet, a powerline network adapter, and a wireless access point. The first power outlet serves as a replacement for the outlet consumed by the powerline network adapter and is filtered to reduce or prevent interference with network communications being carried over the powerline. The network adapter is also configurable to provide, among other things, a powerline wired Ethernet interface and a wireless access point that is coupled to the powerline. Furthermore, the network adapter may be configured to provide a second power outlet for a device, such as an external drive. For example, the second power outlet may be an AC/DC 12-Volt power adapter. In some embodiments, this second power outlet is also filtered from the first power outlet.

Abstract: An in-line fused connector includes an outer housing and a fuse subassembly disposed in the outer housing. The fuse subassembly includes a mating terminal that is configured to engage a first conductive body of the power distribution module and an internal terminal coupled with the fused conductor that electrically couples with an electronic device. The mating terminal and the internal terminal are shaped to receive a fuse to electrically couple the mating terminal and the internal terminal. Electric current that is supplied by the power distribution module is conveyed through the fuse subassembly when the fuse subassembly receives the fuse and the mating terminal of the fuse subassembly mates with the first conductive body of the power distribution module through an opening in the front end of the housing. The fuse is removable from the fuse subassembly through the front end.

Abstract: An electrical adapter is disclosed for providing overload protection between a conventional electrical receptacle and an external electrical plug comprising a housing comprising a plug housing portion and a receptacle housing portion. Electrical blades are supported to protrude from the plug housing portion for insertion within the conventional electrical receptacle. Electrical receptacles are supported within the receptacle housing portion for receiving an external conventional electrical plug. An over current fuse provides over current protection between the conventional electrical receptacle and the external electrical plug. The electrical adapter may include a thermal fuse to provide over heating protection between the conventional electrical receptacle and the external electrical plug.

Abstract: A fuse adapter adapts coplanar blades of fuse having a predetermined blade spacing to fit a pair of coplanar blade receiving terminal slots in a circuit having a different slot spacing. The fuse adapter includes a pair of adapter terminals. Each adapter terminal has a slotted, planar upper end spaced from the other terminal's slotted upper end by the fuse blade spacing. Each adapter terminal upper end also has an adjusting tab bent away from the upper end substantially perpendicular thereto and substantially parallel to the plane of the coplanar terminal slots. Each adjusting tab is integral with a transition portion that extends to an adapter blade. The two adapter blades are coplanar with and spaced apart to match the fuse blade receiving terminal slots in the circuit.

Abstract: A connector assembly for mating with a power distribution module is provided. The connector assembly includes a header connector assembly and a fuse connector assembly. The header connector assembly is configured to be mounted to the power distribution module. The header assembly includes contacts that are connected to a power supply circuit within the power distribution module. The fuse connector assembly is configured to mate with the header assembly. The fuse connector assembly includes a fuse subassembly that has an insert body configured to hold a fuse and conductive terminals. The conductive terminals are mounted to the insert body and are configured to electrically couple with the fuse to establish a fused conductive pathway. The fuse subassembly mates with the contacts in the header assembly to electrically couple the fused conductive pathway with the power supply circuit of the power distribution module.

Abstract: A plug with a replaceable fuse is provided. The plug includes an outer housing, an inner core, a pair of prongs and a pair of conductive cords. The outer housing includes a fuse uninstall button opening and an inner core install opening. The inner core is installed into the outer housing through the inner core install opening, and the inner core includes a fuse socket and a fuse uninstall button. The fuse socket has an uninstall opening. When it is intended to replace the fuse, the fuse uninstall button is pressed from the fuse uninstall button opening, the fuse is ejected or pushed out of the fuse socket by one end of the fuse uninstall button extending to the uninstall opening. When the fuse uninstall button is not pressed, the fuse uninstall button restores to the original position, such that a new fuse is installed into the fuse socket.

Abstract: An electrical adapter includes a housing comprising a front portion including two compartments and two front slits, and a rear portion including longitudinal slots and a damping section including two side cavities, and bottom channels; two blades each having a rear portion fastened in the slit and the compartment; a PCB in the housing and having a transformer unit; two conductive seats on a front end of the PCB, each seat being fastened in the compartment; elastically bent contacts mounted on a rear end of the PCB, the contact including a connecting surface and an axial central positioning groove on the connecting surface; and an electrical wire having its rear portion bent to pass the channel to fasten an end electrical terminal of either conductor thereof on the groove in the cavity and electrically connect same to the connecting surfaces.
